[gv] - 8 - garden
This month the Golden Victory is decorated in a different way than usual. When customers enter, they will be greeted with garden arches covered in roses before coming inside to see the club has become a beautiful rose garden itself. All around the garden room are various seats with tea and snack trays for the customers and larger tables with decorations and having trays of their own, while the larger tables also have matching tea trays much like the smaller tables.
At various spots in the club too, there can be seen long buffet tables (all decorated the same way) carrying all types of food (from fruit to meat) on each table. For our hosts themselves, they will be dressed as butlers wearing matching top hats and colored roses matching their personality with special meanings. The usual rules and host roster is posted near the front door for any new customers or old ones looking for their favorites.
Please note that some hosts may be unavailable due to coma or other unforeseen situations.

For all that the death god with an obsession with symmetry lacked in anything he considered an 'entertaining talent', he was however surprisingly well-versed in hosting parties and social gatherings for his apparent age, slipping easily into the role assumed each time his Exalted Father hosted one in Death City.
But as smoothly as he might facilitate conversation, there's no stopping him from attempting to adjust the placement of objects in his line of sight, trying to arrange everything so that they are not only neat and precise, but fitting into his personal rules of aesthetic beauty.
If he can manage to keep himself from adjusting a girl's pigtails, it would be nothing short of a miracle.
It's still strange, being paid to be a courteous and attentive host, but the clothes are certainly to his taste, and as an additional bonus, the hat conceals the asymmetrical stripes in his hair. There must be a universal rule that says gods are allowed to be vain.]

But he could only see and hear so much from the kitchen, so it wasn't long before Rin took a lull in both the kitchen and customers as a chance to slide on over and verbally check up on his friend.]
Yo.
[Eloquent, Rin.]

Hello yourself. Is everything going alright back there?
[Kid, this isn't a social call, he's coming to make sure you aren't having a mental breakdown over an uneven number of rose petals on the walkway, or the teacups being mismatched.]

Serph hasn't really talked to the newcomer so he approaches, tilting his head.]
Is something wrong?

Especially seeing as Kid's golden stare hasn't stopped being fixed on the mark on one cheek since he fell into his line of sight.]
Of course there is, can't you see?

I see you're becoming well adjusted to the club setting.
Presumably, after his eavesdropping.
Kid has managed to not put off anyone with his compulsive need to arrange all objects in his line of sight, has been, as usual, gregarious in his oft-refined manner; entertaining a guest in his own home is somewhat similar to this job, except that he gets paid to do it.
The only difference is that he's smiling quite a lot more than usual, and often, when he's alone with his thoughts for even a moment.
It's one such moment that Angelo arrives.]
Thank you. I admit, I've been mostly watching the others interact with their clients. Each of them seems to have a different approach.
Yes, we'll go with that.

He misses. It was poorly aimed, anyway.]
Give that back!
[And more lowly, seething:]

At any rate, he comes over while Kid seems to be doing his symmetrical corrections. He watches a moment with his hands folded behind his back, not sure if the other reaper notices him at all. Eventually though, he speaks up. ]
Bit preoccupied, eh?
[ Should Kid turn, he would find Ronald's head right over his shoulder, peering at what he was doing. ]

A familiar face, particularly one of his own kind, is a welcome change.]
Mister Knox.
[He should have detected his presence, but that goes to show how preoccupied he really was.]

This must have taken quite a bit to organize. [The entire thing. It was...girly, pink and reminded him of something of the past. Tea parties in the garden, huh?]

No kidding. Hauling in all these flowers took a lot of work - I don't know where Angelo got them from.
[He pauses as he leans his elbows down against the counter, his smile quirking up a little more.]
But you... [A playful point in Faris' direction--] I believe I've owed you a good drink for a while now, haven't I?

[Well, this certainly isn't what she was expecting. It's absolutely beautiful inside. It's a real garden. Plant life is abundant here, and it makes the experience all the more special. As she stands in the entranceway, she delicately cups one of the roses with her hand, lost in the moment.]
