The flowers all over Vatheon are rather pleasant, are they not? It's nice having a more subtle curse than usual, right?

Strangely enough, there seems to be several trails of flowers leading into the Forest Quadrant. Do you feel compelled to follow them? If so, you'll find yourself at the hot spring in the forest, flowers floating ~*enticingly*~ in the water.

...Get in?

There might be someone there already, though.

That was pretty much how Ruca found the hot springs. He's never been to one before... everything because he's been injured for a three days when his party got to a city that had hot springs.

...And then he noticed Serph. In water. Fully clothed.]</sub>

Serph just turns his head at the sound of a familiar voice. Ah. It's Ruca. Serph gives him a nod in greeting. He gestures towards the hot spring.]

Would you like to join me?

[It's surprisingly nice!]

[ Handing out flowers all morning isn't an easy task and Japan feels its effect on his body, even if it makes both party happy. He isn't young as he used to be ...

So cue him entering the springs to soothe away the muscle pains, naked except for a towel around his waist.

And ... There is another man.

Well that's no problem! But he's full clothed.

[Oh hey, another guy! ... Naked, but okay. Serph is fine with both naked people and sharing the hot spring.

He just tilts his head to invite the stranger to continue speaking.]

[Gorthan has been visiting the forest much more often, after Serph showed it to him. He doesn't think there's any harm in following the flower path. And once he gets to the hot spring, the body of clear water actually makes him think it's worth it.

As soon as he notices Serph, he first waves at him, then extends his hand, as if willing to help him out of the water.]

Come on. I won't ask you how you fell in.

[Because surely that's what must have happened, if Serph is in the water wearing his clothes...

[Ah. Gorthan. It's good to see him. Serph tilts his head at the extended hand, though.]

I didn't fall in.

[He makes a gesture to the water, as if to say, "Do you want to join me?"]

[ To be quite honest Duke hadn't noticed the flowertrail. He was wandering around, and the signs of a hotspring are enticing enough - hot water, yes please - that he might as well.

Serph why are you fully clothed - although...

Duke will near-silently join you - only he took off his coat, gloves and boots. And attempted to push all his hair up and out of the way. Attempted meaning it's slowly trying to slide off even as Duke seems rather pleased with hot water. ]

[Serph gives Duke a nod in greeting. He's content to share the hot spring in comfortable silence -- and does so, for a while -- but it seems like Duke is having some trouble with his hair.]

[He makes a lazy gesture to his own hair, to make it clearer that he's referring to Duke's hair.]

While enjoying a hot spring wasn't his usual thing, Johnny did enjoy a nice bath, and this seemed to be the same sort of idea...only public and not from the tap. Bonus points were added when he noticed Serph in the water. Never one to pass up trolling a friend, the vampire unashamedly stripped and waltzed up the the edge of the springs.]

[Serph has absolutely no problem with naked people, and doesn't even bat an eye when Johnny strips right there, although he's not entirely certain why...

He nods and makes a gesture to the hot spring, as if he means, "Feel free to."]

[No. Not pleasant at all. Just very girly or princess movie-esque.

He was carrying a bag of creamsicles when he found the trail.

Why the heck not? Another exploring adventure wouldn't hurt, right? After some time he finally found the hot springs.]

No way. This is actually kind of cool. [Not like he even notices the other occupant or the fact the flowers didn't grow their naturally. Stripping fully? Not going to happen.
Nu-uh. No way. He'll place his bag down, kick off his shoes and strip off his shirt. That was as undressed as he was getting.

Unwrapping a creamsicle before climbing inside. C'mon. Ice cream and hot springs. Best combo ever

Whoa! Man, what are you doing in here? [Who let this guy in here?

Okay. It didn't matter that the guy was already there. Still. It was some weird albino dude! And he nearly made Hayner drop his ice cream. That would have not been cool.]

[Yeah, seriously. Ice cream dropped in a hot spring? Would that melt into a pool of gross stuff? And excuse you, but Serph was here first!

Serph himself, however, is not fussed by this at all, and gestures to the hot spring, as if that explains everything. Well, okay, he's aware it doesn't, so he adds a little more to that.]

[Have the laziest stare. Though Serph's attention is going to the thing in the stranger's hand, resulting in a tilt of the head.]

Fai had just followed the flowers and when he stumbled upon the hotspring his one golden eye widened in pleased surprise.

"Ah! How wonderful! I wonder if it is open for anyone to enjoy." He walked over and set the flowers down beside the water, kneeling so that he could stick a hand in the warm water.

[Serph lives near the forest, so even when he isn't following flower trails -- it looks like this one leads to the hot spring, too -- he's passed by the hot spring on more than one occasion.

However, Serph hasn't seen this stranger before, so he approaches, making sure he approaches from Fai's right side so he doesn't startle him. Serph takes the hand dipping as hesitation. His greeting has a hint of reassurance in its tone.]

It's pleasant.

[Fai had sensed the other person nearby but he had remained where he was. He looks over when the other speaks and smiles brightly.]

I didn't know there was such a place here. Is it open for everyone to enjoy or is this a private hot spring?

[Hey, she recognizes the direction those flowers are going in. Isn't this the quadrant where Serph and Cielo set up their base? She even helped them garden there...

She's determined to find out, so she's following the trail until she spots the hot springs, her eyes wide. It's almost like it showed up out of nowhere, since she's definitely never seen it before. But it is awfully inviting. She even picks up one of the flowers floating in the water, looking as innocent as can be as she explores and examines before making any hasty decisions.

There isn't even any question. She isn't prepared, but she definitely wants to go in. And luckily for her, Vatheon has no shortage of towels. So she grabs one from nearby, wondering if she should really do this. It isn't like Kyoto where there's a suitable place to change, a room to walk back to...clearly defined hours for the girls and boys...

...But screw it. She's being spontaneous, and plus being around the flowers has put her in way too good of a mood to debate with herself any longer. There's a wide smile on her face as she walks out from behind a rather thick tree, clad in nothing but said towel, and she dips her toe into the hot spring.]

Guess I'll be the first. Jeez, where are they...?

[This is fairly close to their base, after all. She imagines they must be somewhere nearby...]

This is just Serph, right? He's a friend. Based on their previous interactions, and the way he's clothed right now, he probably doesn't even know any better. She doesn't need to get angry for this. After all, at least she's still got the towel, right?
