The flowers all over Vatheon are rather pleasant, are they not? It's nice having a more subtle curse than usual, right?

Strangely enough, there seems to be several trails of flowers leading into the Forest Quadrant. Do you feel compelled to follow them? If so, you'll find yourself at the hot spring in the forest, flowers floating ~*enticingly*~ in the water.

...Get in?

There might be someone there already, though.

[Serph gives Duke a nod in greeting. He's content to share the hot spring in comfortable silence -- and does so, for a while -- but it seems like Duke is having some trouble with his hair.]

[He makes a lazy gesture to his own hair, to make it clearer that he's referring to Duke's hair.]

Well, Serph doesn't mind having Duke's hair everywhere -- when you've lived with multiple people with long hair, you get used to it -- but it seems awfully inconvenient for Duke, so he wades over.]

Do you have anything to tie your hair with?

[He can manage if Duke doesn't, though.]

[ T h i n k i n g. He.. usually does absolutely nothing with his hair, so he may have to search for a moment for anything.

He comes up with red cord - rather like the cord with the gold ends on his coat. ]

Not intended use. [ But a shrug. Its a tie, more or less. ]

[Just one? It's a little thick to be used as a hair tie, but he can try. Serph takes the cord and hooks it over his thumb. He doesn't have a comb, so he uses his fingers as a substitute.

Dammit hair why can't you stay untangled when anyone else tries to deal with it. Never gives him troubles, but anyone else, it seems, may get snared.

He'll move to find Serph's fingers and work his hair away from fingers, then. ]

[...yes okay good. With Duke's help, he gets his fingers untangled and makes a mental note to be more careful as he finishes combing the rest to his satisfaction. And here he thought Cielo's hair was time consuming to comb...

Serph gathers Duke's hair into a ponytail, and ties it with the cord, knotting it as best he can so the cord doesn't just slide off his hair. Duke's hair is a bit -- a lot -- too long to tie into messy buns like Argilla's with just one makeshift hair tie, so he wraps the ponytail around in a bun, twisting the ponytail as he does so. He tucks the end underneath and loosens some of the hair not in the bun to pull over the bun, holding it in place.

See? All done! That didn't take that long, did it? Now hopefully it'll all stay in place.

And Ten sure did spend too much time watching hair tying videos instead of doing this tag.]

[ Duke tilts his head slightly back and forth to see how the hair stays put on his head.

.. he does have a lot of hair, doesn't he. It's a bit easier to feel how much hair he has when its all atop his head than just.. down. ]

[Duke doesn't seem entirely convinced about learning, so Serph gives him an encouraging nudge in the right direction.]

You'll have a better idea once you have the knowledge.

[Serph won't even mind if Duke doesn't end up tying his hair ever again. C'mon, Duke. You know you want to learn how to tie up your hair properly~]
