The flowers all over Vatheon are rather pleasant, are they not? It's nice having a more subtle curse than usual, right?

Strangely enough, there seems to be several trails of flowers leading into the Forest Quadrant. Do you feel compelled to follow them? If so, you'll find yourself at the hot spring in the forest, flowers floating ~*enticingly*~ in the water.

...Get in?

There might be someone there already, though.

[When your clothing is as complicated as Serph's, it requires a lot of attention to take it off. So Serph doesn't see Japan's mortified expression at all, and continues taking off his armour. Well, that's the body armour off, time to start on the leggings.

He's going to keep on methodically taking off his clothes unless there are objections; Serph has no shame. Sorry Japan.]

[ Well okay he's moving to his legging now, and it must be pretty awkward to walk to the changing room like that. So Japan does the right thing and just looks away without a word.

So no, it's not safe; Japan's getting an face full of ass.

...Well, at least Serph had turned around to take off his pants, otherwise Japan would be getting a face full of something else. But it's really hard not to miss that Vatheon tattoo. Being, you know. Right there. On Serph's butt.

[ ... Yep. Today wasn't Japan's day.

But that tattoo though. Your butt is such an elusive place to have your Vatheon tattoo on. So does his butt glow whenever he touches the coral -

[Remember what I said about no shame? Now that Serph is done taking off all his clothes, he's turning around to get back in the water.

Giving Japan a full view of everything.

Thankfully it only lasts those few seconds it takes for Serph to get back in the water. But will the trauma ever be undone?

Serph tilts his head at the question, raising his hand to lightly touch the tattoo on his face, as if to say "This?"]

It doesn't bother me.

[ By now, Japan is aware that the other man lacks um certain modesty. But was the full view really necessary. I mean, really.

Now he's going to associate naked guy = Serph.

His face twitches slightly.]

Ah, I mean ... for the one you received in Vatheon.

[Hmm? Is there something wrong with the other man sharing the water?

[In all the time he's been in Vatheon, he's never been able to find it. Well, not that he's tried very hard; if it was located somewhere under all his armour, it'd be difficult to show to the locals.]

[ Japan did say it was elusive, but he really didn't know. Haha... he didn't know. He should tell him. He should.

Serph is staring at him expectantly though, and it's hard. Japan can't win against that kind of social (?) psychology.]

[Oh. That is really inconvenient. He's not about to strip every time he wants something from the locals. And he's definitely not going to wear only the armoured thong like some people. ~~Can you imagine the chafing?~~

Man, those flowers must be really interesting. Now Serph's looking at them, too. He sounds completely unperturbed by the news his Vatheon tattoo is on his butt, though.]

But, his tattoo is thankfully not on his butt and can be shows to others pretty innocently ... Well, at least in the bath anyways. ]

[ He turns rather shakily to his left and shows Serph a portion of his back. Yep, there it is. Right over the shoulder blade. ]

[Serph's attention immediately goes back to the stranger sharing the hot spring. Is... is he alright..? He was about to approach, but nope, looks like the other man is okay. A back tattoo, huh? Certainly more convenient than a butt tattoo, but still inconvenient, nevertheless.

... Okay this is bothering him.]

[Just kind of. Calmly staring at you.]

Japan just, calmly wipes his face of water and tries to regain his composure. The key word is tries.]

It has been a while since I visited the hot springs. Perhaps it's the heat.

[It's a pleasure to meet Japan. Since he seems familiar with hot spring etiquette, Serph can't help but wonder...]

Are there hot springs like this in your world?

[ Japan thinks he will be unable to forget the name for various reasons. But pushing those thoughts away, Japan nods. ]

Yes, my home is quite famous for its hot springs. [ Being a group of volcanic islands and all. ] I personally enjoy bathing as well, so I visit them often.

[ carefully. ]

... Is this your first time Serph-san?

[A few months ago, Serph would've found it hard to believe someone could enjoy something as mundane as bathing, but he can easily see why now.

Serph nods. It's his first time!

... in hot springs, that is. Not bathing.

But his also tilts his head, as if asking, "Why?"]

[ Well, thankfully.

And Japan catches onto that. ]

Ah you see ... it looked like you weren't accustomed to the hot springs. I suppose you can say I can tell who the newcomers are.

[Is that so...? Well, he can't deny he was probably pretty obvious about not knowing hot spring etiquette. It sounds like Japan's been here for a while.]

In Vatheon?

[ He has been here since ... my goodness, since March of last year. It always amazes him how long he has been here. ]

It has been little over a year now.

[Wow, a year. Serph hasn't lived for very long, so a year seems like a long time to him.]

Have you enjoyed it here?

That depends.

[ He could really do without these curses really. But despite all the bad times, he ... did meet good people. People he could say are his friends.

He smiles shyly. ]

But I do enjoy the company. Many people are helpful, kind.

[Serph nods, agreeing. He's had the same experience. The other residents here have been nothing short of welcoming.]

What about your own world?

[He purposefully keeps the question open ended.]

[ Japan expression slightly changes. He looks ... troubled?]

My world is not a bad place. But as of late, my home has been suffering from a lot of earthquakes. And many have died or gone missing.

[ Natural disasters and such can't be prevented but ... honestly, he is worried. ]

[Serph can understand the worry. Japan has his sympathies, expressed in a nod. Let's focus on the positive, shall we?]
