♥ ☽ stumblin', but yeah i'm still lookin' hella fine
Who: Yukari and everyone.
Where: She'll be reappearing on the beach, then making her way back down into the city via elevator and towards the Coral. So anywhere you'd like to run into her in between there!
When: Late evening/close to midnight
Style: I'll match! I'm up for either--action spam or prose.
Status: Open!
[The last thing Yukari ever expected, was needing to rely on someone else for healing. Or in Vatheon's case, something else--like the Coral. She'd always healed herself. People relied on her for healing. But it just can't be helped, in her condition: she's soaked, her clothes are torn, and there is a fair amount of blood indicating a very heavy and intense battle.
...And what a battle it was.
She doesn't want to think about it much, though; it hurts to think how badly she'd lost. It angers her, even; how incredibly unfair. How dare she, how dare she...?]
Damn--! [Her fist slams into the sand of the beach where she's ended up, and she stumbles to her feet.
Then she sighs, remembering.
Remembering Vatheon. Remembering how much weaker she is here. Diarahan wouldn't cut it in the long run; so she knows she should make her way to the Coral as fast as possible before anyone sees her.
A heal, a change of clothes, maybe--
Once again, she's forced to put everything behind her; because Aigis had won, and now she'd have to live with knowing that.]
How long...?
[--has she been gone?
This is the first that's ever happened to her. It's so disorienting, but she decides maybe that's not the most important thing right now. Annoyed and highly emotional as she is, she sighs again and walks towards the elevator, occasionally wincing.]
Nngh.
[...Time to find her own answers here, she supposes. She doesn't need a replacement leader to do that.]

He offered her a hand to help steady herself. She was as stubborn as he was, and that was what irritated him (and, in a way, he also respected that quality).
no subject
She doesn't take the hand though, when he offers it, and she resists instead, proving that she's as stubborn as he thinks. She doesn't need it to be happy.
"Were you expecting a thank you?"
Naybe that's why he's following her. Heck, she probably would've said it, too, if it got him to stop fussing. But she knows it won't, so she keeps quiet for now.
no subject
"Would be nice," Eikichi frowned, withdrawing his hand and shoving it back into his pocket. Hades disappeared back into his mind, as well.
He wasn't exactly fussing, per se. He was concerned, which came off as fussing.
no subject
She wants the strength to get home quickly enough that she can change without anyone else seeing her already...
"...Fine. Thank you."
So she'll continue her walking, which is grows a bit more steady now, and less stumbly. She will even fold her arms.
no subject
He shoved both hands into his pockets and followed her. He hadn't quite said anything yet, but he could be just as stubborn as she. So he simply followed.
no subject
...Okay, okay.
She'll slow a bit, and when she reaches the Coral, she reaches a hand out to touch it. She breathes in for what feels like the first time that night.
no subject
It bothered him that she hadn't quite told him what happened. Then again, she wasn't part of the Circle, so she probably wouldn't be as open as his own friends were. Regardless, he was still concerned. What was up on the Island that did this to her?
no subject
Maybe there's a reason it happened. Maybe she shouldn't forget, because it's a part of her now, like scars that won't go away. But there isn't anything to worry about there.
She won't be forgetting it any time soon.
"All better."
Her tone is somewhere between sarcasm and mocking--maybe both. She turns to face him, knowing that he's still there (unsurprisingly)--and without saying much else, she starts brushing the sand off her clothes, as if only just now noticing how gross this all was.
...Ugh.
no subject
He didn't have much to offer her for the sandy clothes, save an aquadyne shower, so he just offered her a hanky he had in his pocket.
no subject
She starts brushing the wet sand off with it, and though there is some tint of red, most of the blood is already caked into her clothes--luckily or unluckily though that may be.
"I hope you weren't planning to use this for anything."
(There's a silent thank you in there somewhere.)
no subject
"Nope," he replied simply. That diarahan should've healed all the wounds, he thought idly, seeing the blood still caked on. There was that power reduction he'd been hearing about. Maybe this was it. And while Hades was his ultimate Persona, maybe that just didn't mean as much here.
no subject
Her reply to him is as curt as his: just an absent-minded 'Good,' as if there'd be nothing he could do about it either way, which is sadly true by this point. Once she finally feels like she's satisfied though (or that no more sand will come off, no matter how hard she tries), she will shake off the handkerchief itself.
Finally acknowledging his line-face, she asks: "...What?"
no subject
And that was all he got. What. What did she mean what?! Well at least it was an acknowledgement and Eikichi didn't really have a reason to jump down her throat for it.
"The hell happened to you?" he asked again.
no subject
It isn't as if they lived together...
"The Coral sent me home for a while, I'm guessing," she finally answers, her tone mildly annoyed. Mainly at herself, for giving in. Jeez...
And yes, she's going to be super vague about this.
"I just showed up like this."
Wet, like any other newcomer.
no subject
Anyway. "So something where you came from did this?"
no subject
Two someones...but she doesn't think about Metis as much. Someone who just kind of showed up and inserted herself onto their team...she never trusted her to begin with, so fighting her felt like nothing at all.
...She doesn't say any of this, though. She just shrugs it off, because she has to.
"Uh-huh. So don't worry about it," she says again, insistent. "It's still safe here. 'less there's a Curse going on I don't know about."
Vatheon is so freaking weird.
no subject
He shrugs, looking much less worried, more like the usual Eikichi. Now safe wouldn't exactly be the word he'd use for Vatheon. He'd more accurately use annoying, irritating, pesky. Something in that family of words. "No curse yet," he replied.
Now that he would agree with. Vatheon really was weird.
no subject
She's not exactly thinking analytically at the moment, so when he looks less worried, she doesn't see any layers behind that or think he might be hiding anything. It'd be kinda dumb for him to do that anyway, if he's trying to get her to be honest.
But anyway, she's shrugging.
"Good to hear for once. Must mean it's been pretty quiet."
no subject
"Thankfully," Eikichi frowned. "I was getting tired of all those curses in a row."
no subject
He doesn't know Aigis. He doesn't know Metis--he knows about Persona, sure, and maybe about Shadows, but the Abyss of Time is a whole nother can of worms to be opened.
The best she could do is probably 'My friends and I got into a fight' -- and even that would raise even more questions. Namely of the What kind of friends do you have?! variety, and she doesn't quite feel like dealing with that either.
In the end, she thinks it's best this way, and maybe he would eventually agree too. At least she's being slightly less bitchy now.
"What've you been doing with yourself then? Ever hear back from that...Strider guy you were waiting on?"
no subject
He shoved his hands back into his pockets. "Haven't heard from Strider at all. We may need to look for a new member."
no subject
It's been a long time coming. You just can't rely on people sometimes, she supposes--she knows how that is, so as bland as her tone is, she really does understand. It's such a harmless thing, too, a band; and he's still having trouble putting it together. She wonders what hope they have of doing anything productive here when the Coral keeps twisting them around and messing with them.
...But oh well. It isn't as if she's going to suddenly give up.
She never has before.
"Nngh. I'd better change out of these clothes, though. Maybe shower when I get home."
She groans upon remembering that healed wounds don't automatically erase the blood and sand that had gotten onto her outfit beforehand.
no subject
"Where do you live? I'll walk ya home," Eikichi offered. He really was a nice guy underneath.
no subject
She replies easily, though she isn't used to giving out such information on a whim. It almost startles her when she hears the words from her own mouth, though honestly, she doesn't see any reason to withhold that.
It'd only tick him off more, and she'd already been so quiet about everything else. She doesn't feel like dealing with that...
no subject
Well. At least he got an answer to where she lived. "Nope, but I'll take ya there anyway." He didn't know about any secrets or anything. He was sort of alone on that matter, as he was still the only one from Sumaru City and knew of the hell they'd all been through.
