New Arrival
Who: Sollux Captor and ANYONE!
Where: By the coral
When: Today
Format: Starting in prose but I'm happy to follow your lead
Status: Open as Sollux' gaping ocular sockets
He was killing himself. He could feel it in the intense pain that exploded across his think pan like someone was jabbing two culling forks through his eye sockets and then wiggling them around inside his brain.
He was sure he had killed himself. He sort of hoped he had killed himself, because living with that kind of damage was going to suck serious hoofbeast testicles.
And then he'd expected to hopefully find himself safe and sound in the bubbles, where he could spend eternity reliving the few good moments he'd had in his short life and leave the universe-saving and misery to someone else. What he hadn't expected was a whole lot of water, and confusion and a lot of voices, none of which were familiar. It sounded like he'd suddenly landed himself in the middle of a city.
Frightened and confused, he pushed himself up, coughing up a lungful of sea water and yellow blood, and felt around helplessly, searching for something, anything familiar. "Hello?" he called out, but not too loud. Karkat, Kanaya, Terezi and Gamzee had been right there. Why wasn't anyone saying anything to him?
"What happened?"

no subject
[Again, using his shirt as a leash he tugs him towards the ablution block.]
Here.
no subject
Don't you want to know about Karkat?
no subject
[He crosses his arms over his chest, leaning against the frame of the door.]
So out with it, an' NO bullshit. I can fuckin' tell when you're bee essin' me, so don't ewen try.
no subject
Well...KK's dead.
no subject
You're lyin'.
[He says it through gritted teeth, but it does nothing to hide the fear and desperation that's lining the faux aggression. He doesn't want to hear anything like that. Not after finding Karkat's corpse like he had before. He doesn't want to think about Karkat ever being dead--but more importantly, permanently dead.]
no subject
Yeah, I was lying. KK was just fine when I left. But the real question is - what the fuck do you care?
no subject
You fuckin' ASSHOLE! But--good, I'm glad he's fine... An' like I said before, that's none a your business. I don't owe you any fawors, Sol. I'we done enough for you already, more than anythin' like you deserwes anyway.
no subject
Fine, don't tell me. It's not like he won't tell me the truth, so I'll find out no matter what.
[He snorts, and adds:] Anyway, I guess it's just that you've shifted your desperate obsession to his bulge now.
no subject
[But then he adds on that last bit and Eridan can't help how much he's just glaring.]
There's nothin' desperate about this, you piece a rubbish! An' whether it concerns his bulge or not doesn't concern you in the fuckin' slightest.
[He HMPHs indignantly and stands up straight, continuing to level his glare at the eyeless troll.]
Now if we're quite finished here, I'm goin' to reliewe myself of your presence, I'we rightly dealt with it longer than anyone should ewer hawe to. You're welcome, by the way you ungrateful landfucker.
no subject
At the last, he snorts] Exactly why should I be grateful? You would have just left me to die in the street if I hadn't made a deal with you. And considering that I wouldn't be blind at all if it weren't for you, I'd say this is just one little sliver off of the huge rock of shit that you already owe me.
no subject
What? Fuck off, if you ewer got the fuckin' CHANCE to see me naked the last thing you'd be doin' is projectile womittin', you'd be awestruck, but unfortunately for you I took that priwilege away before you ewer ewen had the fuckin' CHANCE.
[And with a few quick strides, Eridan is aiming to grab Sollux by the front of his shirt again.]
I don't owe you a damn thing! The more I think on it, I probably should hawe left you to die like the helpless grub you are. Pathetic. You goin' blind is what you get for takin' on more than you can fuckin' handle. You'we no one to blame for that but your damn self! Feel lucky I spared you at all, you thankless fuck.
no subject
[Sollux hears him coming and jerks back, eyes sparking, but the migraine flares into horrible life again just at the hint of using his powers.
He knows he is pathetic and helpless, and that pretty much everything Eridan said is true. But he's not about to admit that to a homicidal piece of shit like him. Not in a million sweeps.]
It's not luck, you nooksucker. It's because I made a deal with you. If you had even a shred of decency, you'd have helped me just because we're supposed to be friends.
no subject
[Oh, those sparks sure are familiar and at the sight of them, Eridan near physically recoils from them, but he wills himself not to. Sollux is too weak like this, there's no way he can possibly do anything like he has before when in this state.]
Friends? We're supposed to be friends? Don't make me laugh, Sol. I'd newer be friends with someone as outright LOWLY as you. Not to mention you're not supposed to be friends with your--
[rival. He stops, glaring at Sollux all the more, before releasing his shirt with a quick turn, heading for the door if Sollux doesn't do anything to stop him.]
Forget it, you're not worth my time anymore than you're worth hatin'.
no subject
[But he stops, startled, wondering what Eridan was just about to say. If he didn't know any better, he'd think he was about to say 'rival', but probably he was going to say something else.
...He just can't think of what that something else might be at the moment.
He wants Eridan to leave, except then he'll be alone. So he sneers at his retreating back]
Running away?
no subject
What?
no subject
[Sollux turns and reaches into the ablution trap, feeling around until he finds the taps and turns them on]
But no, you can go. Go ahead, Prince. I'm bored of talking to you, anyway.
no subject
[But... The fact that Sollux says he's bored of him stings him more than it should. Or, more than he thinks it should.]
Pfft, I'm not runnin', honeysucker, I'm takin' my leawe. Also, I was bored a you long before we ewen made it to the fuckin' hotel. So just drown yourself in your fuckin' bath, it'll do us all a fawor.
[And with that, he turns to leave again, if Sollux will shut his trap long enough to let him.]
no subject
So he tests the water temperature with one hand and then strips off his shirt, seemingly ignoring Eridan's presence. One could easily count every rib and all his vertebrae]
Good riddance, whalefucker.
no subject
[But that's when he hears what sounds like Sollux removing his shirt--and, oops he's a little more than curious. Don't mind Eridan stopping again, because as much as he's trying to play it off like Sollux is a waste of time, it's actually really nice to have him back--in that irritating I hate you sort of way. especially seeing him shirtless...]
[Maybe Sollux won't notice the lack of a door opening and closing and will just continue. Maybe. Hey, no one said that Eridan wasn't a bit of a peeping tom ok.]
no subject
He didn't hear the door open. He might not be surprised if Eridan carelessly left the door open as he left, but he never opened it in the first place, which means he's still here]
Wow, you really must be desperate. Are you planning on hiding to watch me strip? Do you think I'm a fucking retard? I'm blind, not stupid.
no subject
Fuck no. You think I want to waste my gander bulbs away on your skeletal ass? Fuck that, I was just on my way out.
[Gdi, oh well, this was time poorly spent anyways, even if it was kinda refreshingly aggravating. Something about Sollux just gets under his fucking skin, the incorrigible dick. With one last gaze at the half naked troll, Eridan is sure to leave, slamming the door DRAMATICALLY behind him.]
no subject
Could he...?
No. that was stupid.
He strips down the rest of the way and steps into the trap, trying to just forget about Eridan for now]
