Selphie had been pretty quiet lately. There was that curse, and that was weird, being so tiny and so small. She went places and was completely unnoticed. There there was Valentine's Day and all of the confusion that was brought with that. And now, now Selphie is pretty exhausted. The chocobos eggs are due to burst open soon, at least they should, and Selphie's been hiding out in the chocobo barn waiting for them to hatch, to make sure everything goes okay.

Maybe you haven't seen her around in a couple of days, not at the plaza, or at her usual cafes. Maybe you've noticed that she hasn't been home lately. Or maybe you don't know who she is, you don't care, and you're just walking past the barn and feel like looking in. But there's a Selphie in there, and she's got some blankets, a small pile of books, her guitar, and a box filled with empty takeaway tea cups and empty sandwich wrappers.

Find her in the morning/early afternoon and she'll be fast asleep on the hay. Later in the day she'll be grooming the birds, maybe playing with them outside, or singing to them. At night, she'll be keeping vigil.

"We do," Eikichi agreed. He hadn't really thought of a name. They couldn't really be 'Gas Chamber', since that was the band back in Sumaru. He still wore their logo on his sleeve, but that didn't mean he couldn't add another band on his arm. "First thing we'll have to do is figure out a name."

"Hmm..." Selphie's going her best to brainstorm, but it's not happening. "We should figure it out when we get the band together!"

"Exactly, babe," he nodded. Three heads were probably better than one.

"Okay, so you gotta arrange for this guy to get here, and then we can sort all this stuff out. Okay?" Cause after all, he was the band leader, right, so it was up to him to do the business side.

"You got it, babe." Eikichi was all ready for organizing. He'd heard that curses only come around once a month, so he'd have plenty of time before he was sent to chase rats or something stupid.

Selphie laughed and stood to attention, giving a sharp salute, "Alright, boss! And... thanks for agreeing to do it here. The chocobos will love it!" And it did mean a lot that he was willing to meet and rehearse there, since Selphie was so devoted to the birds right now.

"Sure thing, babe," Eikichi grinned ear to ear. "This is the perfect place to make some music!" Not his usual place for making music, but this one had an audience. Not a human one, but that didn't matter. He'd sung to demons before.

"You know what? We could even do a real gig in here too!" She ran across to the other side of the barn where big bales of hay were and, to demonstrate how good they are as seats, she jumps up on one of them. "Audience here, and us over there!"

"Hey, that's a great idea," Eikichi nodded, watching her run across the barn. There were lights here so there had to be power for equipment. It'd work. Eikichi was from the city. Singing in a barn never once crossed his mind. It was very country, but very interesting.

Selphie was thinking of lights more for lights, rather than of equipment, and she points up the wall of the barn, "And plenty place for hanging lights! I got loads left over from Christmas time!"

"Hey, now there's a plan," Eikichi grinned. "I bet that'd make great decorations!" Eikichi had never really decorated the place his band would practice. They hadn't quite performed yet either. Minor details.

Selphie jumped down from the hay bale and rushed into the middle of the barn so that she good look up at the other side, trying to envision the whole thing. She grinned and gave a bright nod, "Yup! It's gonna be spectacular!"

Eikichi really knew nothing about decorating, but Selphie, on the other hand, seemed to know what she was talking about. "How 'bout you jazz up the place, babe?"

Selphie gave a sharp salute and laughed, "Alright! I'll get it all sorted. You just bring the rest of the band, right?"

"You betcha, babe," Eikichi grinned. This was going amazingly smooth. It was like nothing would get in their way.
