[ So he'd been worrying people by not leaving the house, and since he didn't have a purpose in leaving the house daily - albeit one that he'd been ignoring recently - Duke is out and about today.

Mostly to the library. Even if he had been reading at .. home, and he would just be reading at the library, clearly the change in location was going to mean something.

At least, that was his plan. Hopefully actually going out and about helps lighten worries.

I actually wanted to ask, you haven't been at the Host Club, recently. Have you left it?

[It might seem odd, but changes around Jade are always investigated. He's always making sure he knows who is doing what and he's more likely than not to poke around. It's not personal issues, it's a control aspect of keeping up on who is and is not around him for any reason.]

But magic that I am most familiar with was considered part of most things, yes. Unstable, also.

Magic is somewhat limited in my world. There are magic users, and there are not. Fonons make up the entirety of the world, but only some people inherit the ability to tap into the Planet's core.

I suppose, in a way, yours feels more related to the earth itself, not just the core.

More 'organic' as it is less 'restricted'. Some may argue; great concentrations of Aer - term for magic - are hazardous for... most everything.
