[ So he'd been worrying people by not leaving the house, and since he didn't have a purpose in leaving the house daily - albeit one that he'd been ignoring recently - Duke is out and about today.

Mostly to the library. Even if he had been reading at .. home, and he would just be reading at the library, clearly the change in location was going to mean something.

At least, that was his plan. Hopefully actually going out and about helps lighten worries.

I am not certain how it can feel 'more organic'.

But magic that I am most familiar with was considered part of most things, yes. Unstable, also.

Magic is somewhat limited in my world. There are magic users, and there are not. Fonons make up the entirety of the world, but only some people inherit the ability to tap into the Planet's core.

More 'organic' as it is less 'restricted'. Some may argue; great concentrations of Aer - term for magic - are hazardous for... most everything.

I would say that. Even in my world, there are some artes that are forbidden and some artes that have been locked away to prevent their use.

What exactly is the outcome of an over-concentration of aer?

Death. Concentrations reach visible and green first; illness in humans, enhanced growth rates in plants, and extreme aggressiveness. Causes havoc on blastia - version of.. magi-tech. Generally harmless in the longrun, worse on children. When concentration reaches red, starts taking aer out of life around it; plants wither, and occasionally it.. moved on its own. Contact is ill advised, for those humanoids.

Usually, only rarely reaches visible-green stage. Occasional natural occurrences, which would be tamed by a creature who lived off of aer. Normally,use of blastia - world's form of magi-tech - would cause the occurrences more often, but still rare enough that it is vaguely known and little more. Red requires intentional disregard for safety or a great deal of improper use, as well as preventing the aid of the creatures.

Is, yes. Only problems occur once concentrated.

Known methods simply leaned toward unbalanced aer. In the pause between throwing out the old way and finding the new, home.

.... Brave Vesperia did it, thus one of them would know more - however are none remain in the bubble. From what I felt... it is binding aer to an element and a consciousness to guide it. They called them 'spirits'.

As understood it, it was more stable because it was closer to.... matter, being bound. The spirits were ... something produced by the means of binding elements.

Are the spirits bound to their creator?

I do not know. I assume they are perhaps loosely bound to one of them, as she was able to call up aid in combat, but they seemed highly inclined to go about as they saw fit. Did not have time to attempt to contact [ if he even wanted to try ] the named four before arrival here.

Hm.. Auldrant has no way of connection to the Spirits, aside from just use of their power. We've only ever spoken to one, and that was extenuating circumstances.

Though it seems our worlds are similar, they seem far more diverse further in.
