*She holds onto her tight birthday hug that little bit longer, then finally lets go, smiling up at Izumo like it might even be her own birthday - these kinds of celebrations for others always excite her more than her own. She then holds out a carefully wrapped gift, including curled ribbon and all. If he opens it, he'll find some liqueur chocolates, and a new red scarf, carefully wrapped in tissue paper*

[ It'd be rude not to accept her gift, though, so he lets her go from the hug and takes the package. He'll unwrap it carefully. It looks like she put a lot of effort into wrapping it up. And he can't help but smile when he sees what's inside.

He pulls the scarf out, admiring the color. ]

*Selphie pulls a face, suggesting that he's just said something really weird. After all, what else are birthdays for if not for gifts? She grins at his reaction and claps her hands together, clearly delighted*

I do. Believe it or not, I never owned a long red scarf. Only this short one.

[ He indicates the ascot-type scarf, currently around his neck, before unknoting it draping his new one about his shoulders. ]
