What: Bar HOMRA's doors are always open to anyone who feels they need a bit of a drink. Nothing's changed about that, except today you might find a little something extra going on behind those open doors. For today is owner, Izumo Kusanagi's 27th birthday! And his no longer dead friends aren't going to let the day go by without a bit of celebration.

So whether you know Izumo, are looking for that usual drink, or want dibs on a slice of free cake, come on by to Bar HOMRA tonight!

[It's rather early in the morning when Tatara slips out of his apartment to go to HOMRA. He's made sure to get the ingredients so he wouldn't have to text Kusanagi-san that they were out of eggs again. That'd be awkward, making him a secret cake but telling him that they ran out of eggs...

He sets all his supplies in the kitchen before going upstairs.]

[Nervously tucking a strand of hair behind his ear, a certain young exorcist peeked his head into the bar looking for one particular reaper and bartender.]

[ Give her a moment and she'll be in more than a sleepshirt. A nice red sundress that Izumo and Mikoto had gone shopping to get her. ]

... Now?

[ She can go back up and wake Mikoto. ]

[He smiles. It's a little odd seeing her in something apart from her favored style of dress still.]

We can make and eat breakfast first, but this way we have plenty of time to make sure we get it right. We should make it good for Kusanagi-san, right?

[He hasn't cooked in a little while, okay. Just in case.]

[ Admittedly, he's been a busy little thing lately what with the host club and now his other boss' birthday. To start, he may have had his attention fixing someone a drink but he catches sight of this kid like a trained missile.

oh god please don't be on a date.

So he swings himself over the bar and heads over. Nice and slow, trying to act perfectly cool like he wasn't really all that excited to see him. Take it easy, Ron. Remember. Space. ]

[ She'll go get Mikoto awake once breakfast is done. ]

[He heads toward the kitchen, stopping just outside to look back at Anna.]

What do you want for breakfast?

[Tucking the corner of his chin into the palm of his right hand, Yukio could not help but chuckle slightly.]

I'm not going to bite your head off Ronald- just because of a missed lunch date.

[ ...wait. Wait what. Lunch date? But they haven't had lunch together ever since he came back. Heck, they haven't done anything remotely together ever since then. The little violin playing at the villa which he considered a phenomenal failure only served as more of a wedge and admittedly, he hadn't been around lately...

But he refuses to have the confusion show on his face. Ruffling his hair a bit though. ]

Your dad said I should prolly give you a bit of space and time so... I haven't been 'round as much as I used to--

[ But he's itching to ask. ]

...Hold on. D'you remember?

[There is a brief nod of his head before he waved towards the empty seat before him.]

For the week it appears so. I remember both what and how I was like before here and my memories back home.

[Well most of his memories- but like the theme of this curse in lieu of regaining his memories he has forgotten something as well. His memories that dwells with demons and the world of exorcism.]

[He'll go make that then.

It takes a couple minutes, but he comes back out of the kitchen with the dish and ketchup.]

[ It still sounds a bit too good to be true to him though. It takes him a while to stagger into that seat, all the while his eyes trained on the boy. ]

[ But he catches himself. ]

[ Good Tatara, best Tatara.

Anna works on painting that red, even if she couldn't really see it right now, and gets to work demolishing it. Lots of energy needed to make a good cake! ]

[Yay free food? He sits next to her with a plate of his own, eating it, though not as fast as she is.

[ Once she's done, she's going to go into the kitchen with her plate.

Its a bit hard for her to get it off, but Tatara is still eating! But she ends up staring around the very nice kitchen looking for... how to make a cake signs. ]

[ And without a word, he's out of his seat and his arms are around the boy, hugging him as if he would never let go. ]

It's a bloody miracle all over again. A bleeding miracle, Yuki...

[ Don't mind the little whitehaired girl sitting on a stool not far away. She'd changed out of her flour smeared sundress and returned to her normal frilly dress.

The nervous habits of others are somewhat interesting to watch. ]

[It takes him a little longer to finish his plate, going into the kitchen after her to clean up.

He watches her look around for a moment before laughing softly.]

I'll start. Why don't you go wake King?

[The three of them should make this after all. King can help them cook it--

He starts setting all the ingredients out, getting bowls and other necessary materials.]
