King and Kusanagi-san? Hm...
[How to describe them...
Does he even want a drink?]
I'll pass on that drink, but King is like a lion. He's stubborn, stupid at times, protective of HOMRA even if he doesn't show it much, and, well, he's a King. Our King. Getting him mad isn't a good idea, especially if he has his flames.
[No blood, bone, or even ash would remain if King burns you after all. And he can crush your head with a hand if he wants to... He's never really had to describe King before.]
I got them to have a chicken race with me back in middle school; Kusanagi-san stopped after a bit, I fell off my bike, and King rode straight off the cliff edge into the sea. We played a lot of games that King didn't really understand the point of.
[He smiles, remembering. That probably says more about King and Kusanagi-san than anything else he could say. He hasn't really said much about Kusanagi-san yet though.]
Kusanagi-san...He likes his bar, but he never really minded me bringing in stuff from my hobbies, just complained that it made his bar look tacky. He's calm, caring, and just as willing to fight as any of the other members of HOMRA, though he usually doesn't.
[Except for Tatara and Anna.]
Kusanagi-san cares more about all of us than most of us realize. He'd get you drunk so you'd tell us what's wrong, if he had to.
[Describing his friends is harder than he thought!]
I'm not really sure what else I can say about how they are. They are who they are, and they're my best friends.

Seems that there's actually a bit of history to this pub, eh? Course, I've got to admit that Suoh's a bit scary sometimes... wager you're prolly right about the lion part.
[ And a smile. ]
Seems you lot find home no matter where you go.

Eight years of history, more or less.
[This guy hasn't gotten his head almost crushed by him or tagged along on raids most likely...Never get King angry if his flames can hurt you. Never.]
Most of us - most of HOMRA, I mean - only have each other. So we're home as long as we're together.
[A pause.]
That makes sense, right?
[They're like family, really.]

[ And a laugh because he knows exactly how that feels. After all, his somewhat family's here too. The ones he feels this exact way about. ]
Yeah, yeah it makes a whole mess of sense. You lot have got to stick together, after all.

I guess it is.
[And a nod. That's kind of why it's perfectly okay to leave if you feel you don't fit in - family wants family to be happy.]
How many people do you think have someone like that here? Someone that they think of as family.
[He hopes it's a lot of them. Life is less lonely when you have family, related or not.]
