[About a year ago, the area near the Forest Quadrant shook mildly from miniature quakes.

Now, just over a year later, the area near the Forest Quadrant is shaking from miniature quakes. Except this time, they're stronger.

If one were to investigate their source, it would be traced back to to the Embryon base, a spartan 3 floor abandoned building with a flourishing pond and garden and orange paint on the doors. If one approaches from the Lower District, they would spot Serph and a demon in the garden with some new holes in the concrete. But if one approaches from the direction of the forest, they would spot Serph and the... front... of the demon...................... Around them are sacks of dirt, as well as various potted plants and seed packets.

At a nod from Serph, Argilla, in her demon form, splits open a new hole in the concrete with yet another ground shaking spell.

[None of her choices would reveal much to Argilla personally; but she does watch and take note anyway, just out of curiosity. She doesn't really have any words to say to that, other than quiet agreement -- so she nods, and then picks some roses and gerberas herself.

She stares at them for a moment before bringing them to the dirt-filled hole.]

They also have their own meanings . . . not that I've memorized them all.

[A small smile to accompany a comment, which will hopefully steer the conversation in the direction of something more lighthearted.]

[Serph, too, thinks nothing of Naoto's choices in flowers. He transfers an orange poppy into the soil, making sure to cover its roots.

He decides to offer his own input into this conversation.]

Do you know of any?

[To be honest, he only vaguely remembers the meaning of the orange rose.]

[Naoto nods softly.]

I know of some... not many, but some. In Japan, where I'm from, flower arranging is a sort of old tradition. As such, you do learn about flowers and meanings.

[Much like she knew the meanings behind the ones she had picked, but she would not readily tell this.]

[It's too bad. Argilla looks at her expectantly, hoping to learn; and she stays silent for a while, hoping that Naoto would continue. But when she doesn't, she goes back to tending to the flowers she's just planted.]

You should teach us.

[She gently pats at the dirt beneath them, and then brushes some of the dirt off her fingers as she goes to grab more.]

[Serph listens carefully to the words exchanged, though his eyes are intent on tending to the garden. He only adds his input once Argilla has spoken, his voice quiet, but gently encouraging.]

We like to learn, even when it's just a little.
