[About a year ago, the area near the Forest Quadrant shook mildly from miniature quakes.

Now, just over a year later, the area near the Forest Quadrant is shaking from miniature quakes. Except this time, they're stronger.

If one were to investigate their source, it would be traced back to to the Embryon base, a spartan 3 floor abandoned building with a flourishing pond and garden and orange paint on the doors. If one approaches from the Lower District, they would spot Serph and a demon in the garden with some new holes in the concrete. But if one approaches from the direction of the forest, they would spot Serph and the... front... of the demon...................... Around them are sacks of dirt, as well as various potted plants and seed packets.

At a nod from Serph, Argilla, in her demon form, splits open a new hole in the concrete with yet another ground shaking spell.

[She's already grabbing more plants once she's done with the first. She enjoys working with the dirt, really, and she's got momentum going here. She won't ignore Angelo's question though.

Just brushing some dirt off her hands from the latest plant that she's put in, as she looks at him, and then to Serph.]

Would he?

[Sorry leader, you'll have to answer this one for yourself.]

[bufudine]

[Nooo, he was going to activate his silent protag wallflower powers, too!! Well, he gives Argilla a nod; Angelo is right, for once.]

You might like it.

[Or may feel a need to punch someone. Either or! Surely no one will tell Argilla her arms are way too thick--]

[Angelo continues relaxing since he'd rather not be working, but makes a small pouting face at Serph.]

Serph, that's not how how you promote the club at all.

[He turns back to Argilla, now smiling again with a wink.]

Do trust me my lady, our club is every woman's dream. Not only will you have fine food to dine on, but hours of entertainment from our various hosts.

[teradine]

[That pouting face. Gosh, if she didn't know any better, she would've thought Angelo was whining! She hides a look of slight amusement as Angelo explains, and . . . well, okay, admittedly she is kind of curious.

So they've both done their jobs, in a way.]

What kind of entertainment?

[bufudine]

[Why should Serph have to talk more when he has Angelo here who is perfectly capable of regaling the Host Club's many benefits to Argilla? And better than Serph can.

And, well. Serph gestures to Angelo.

Angelo, explain.]

[beauchevalier]

[He's the vice president, Serph. He should not be the one doing the explaining here, but oh well.]

Various types, naturally. Spending time with our hosts, enjoying the delicious food, why we're even considering putting in new forms of entertainment. Party games or something I found out about called karaoke looked rather fun.

[teradine]

[When Serph gestures to Angelo, she turns to him expectantly and listens. It doesn't sound like there's anything in particular that she couldn't get elsewhere, he seems insistent.

And she really has no good reason to say no.]

I see. It might be worth my time.

[She's grabbing a couple more plants, though, adding:]

Once our garden is tended to.

[bufudine]

[Serph just watches on in amusement, though it's hard to tell when his expression is still a rather flat :| Serph uses his hands to place soil around the base of the plant he'd just removed from his pot. He comments offhandedly.]

It's a good opportunity to meet more people.

[And srsly, Argilla's right. Angelo get to work. If you ever want Argilla to come, you're going to have to put your back into it.]

[beauchevalier]

[Angelo starts working harder at this planting business, almost seeming to rush now since he's getting bored.]

And that's exactly why we should be heading there.

[Is he being sloppy with his work? Maybe a little, but it's still getting the job done in a more timely fast paced manner.]

[teradine]

Soon.

[Argilla works just as diligently, even though she's a lot more careful about things. Being sloppy can hurt the plants, after all, and that's not something she wants.

After a long while of being her usual stubborn self and refusing to cut corners, she takes a step back to see how things look, once all the plants are . . . well, planted.]

[bufudine]

[Serph nods, agreeing with Argilla.]

After we are done here.

[He looks over what Angelo has accomplished before reaching over to place soil over a few plant roots Angelo had left exposed.]

And the work is satisfactory.

[beauchevalier]

[You know those little kids who get bored after things are taking too long for them? Yeah, that's Angelo right now.]

But we could have more fun at the club. When we're done there though, maybe I can take both of you to the casino.

[He's not whining, yet he's getting kind of tired of planting flowers. Especially since Argilla and Serph are taking forever, at least in his mind. Part of him wants to tell them to go faster.]

[teradine]

[Going faster would mean they get sloppier. The elegance and beauty of their garden might be compromised. Argilla decides not to waste the time saying anything to debate his point, but when he mentions the casino, she does speak up.]

And what might that be?

A part of the club, I'm assuming.

[bufudine]

[Serph shakes his head.]

It is a different building. Angelo has intense interest in it.

[Serph, on the other hand, does not. So, Angelo, explain.]

[beauchevalier]

[Instead of explaining the casino, he goes into another topic about the casino entirely. Moreso about his experience with it.]

The casino is my second home away from the apartment I live in, I have my own personal suite there if you're ever interested in coming by.

[teradine]

[You are so unhelpful; she hopes you know that, Angelo. She shrugs though, figuring she'll find out for herself. She leaves her speculations to herself until then.]

You make it sound so luxurious.

[bufudine]

[On the other hand, Serph will make it sound less so.]

It has necessities, but lacks a garden.

[beauchevalier]

[Wow Serph, way to be a downer. Angelo thinks of an idea to keep Argilla's interest while still attempting to help them.]

It is very luxurious. However, you two have inspired me to consider putting a garden into my suite. Still interested in coming by?

[teradine]

. . . You'll have to take care of it.

[She is interested -- she'd been interested before. But she is still unimpressed.]
