[OPEN] Digital Domestic Saga, Round 2
Who: Argilla, Serph, and you!
When: All day
Where: Outside the Embryon base, near the Forest Quadrant
Style: [Action], but we are willing to match!
Status: OPEN OPEN OPEN
[About a year ago, the area near the Forest Quadrant shook mildly from miniature quakes.
Now, just over a year later, the area near the Forest Quadrant is shaking from miniature quakes. Except this time, they're stronger.
If one were to investigate their source, it would be traced back to to the Embryon base, a spartan 3 floor abandoned building with a flourishing pond and garden and orange paint on the doors. If one approaches from the Lower District, they would spot Serph and a demon in the garden with some new holes in the concrete. But if one approaches from the direction of the forest, they would spot Serph and the... front... of the demon...................... Around them are sacks of dirt, as well as various potted plants and seed packets.
At a nod from Serph, Argilla, in her demon form, splits open a new hole in the concrete with yet another ground shaking spell.
...Approach?]
[ooc: tags will come from both Argilla and Serph! Turn order'll be you, whichever of us gets to you first, then the other :>]

She hadn't been here the last time, so she can't really comment on that. But Argilla gives her a polite nod. If she's put off at all by her mouths, she doesn't notice it.]
We've been meaning to do it for quite some time. There have been a lot of distractions.

Magni bombs.
[He gives a nod in appreciation to Argilla.]
We have more control over the effects this way.
[Well, okay, there's still earthquakes, but at least there's no OOPS THAT HOLE ENDED UP BEING A WEIRD SHAPE incidents any more.]

[She takes out her harp, definitely ready to play. The shaking will just make her think of thunder if she's playing the Song of Storms, it won't bring to mind underwater volcanoes and how incredibly screwed they would all be if Vatheon happens to sit on one.]

When Zelda pulls out her harp though, Argilla looks over curiously, already wondering what kind of powers it has. Would it be similar to her own?
She thinks the question is more directed at Serph, so she stays quiet and watches . . .]

Serph nods in Zelda's direction -- it would be nice to hear Zelda's music again -- before gesturing towards the bags of soil for Argilla as he moves towards them. Let's get all this soil into the hole first before planting, shall we?
Serph cuts one bag with a knife and dumps it in the hole.]

Just the song, and the familiar feeling of rain . . .]

As terrible as it had been, the Junkyard had been important.
It takes Serph a long moment to collect himself enough to continue gardening. Grabbing a yellow chrysanthemum, he gently pulls it out of its pot, occasionally tapping gently from the knife.]

There we are, that should be enough until we get things planted. What all are you going to plant?
no subject
A far less terrifying pink-haired woman, who brushes aside some of that hair as the glow from her transformation subsides.]
Everything we have, if it fits.
[. . . It might not, but either way:]
. . . Thank you.

Is there anything in particular you would like to plant?
[He vaguely remembers Zelda mentioning that she had gardens with many flowers back in her home world.]

[Zelda walks up to the plant collection, sorting out the perennials and annuals and the plants that have a tendency to spread. Anything that spreads she feels should be put near an annual plant that won't be growing back the next year.]
These plants will grow back every year, while those plants over there will only last the year. Of the perennials, the ones on the left have a tendency to spread on their own. We should also separate out the plants that prefer to be planted in the shade and put them closer to the trees or on the side of the building that gets less light. It's also best to not put plants that require a lot of water next to plants that prefer drier conditions.

In that case, these are the ones that will require the most. [Water, that is. She starts sorting as well. She groups the aforementioned plants together, then turns her attention to another --] These, not so much.
[-- just then, a thought occurs to her.]
It may be helpful to make labels, so that whoever tends to the garden will know.
sorry for the delay! AND TOO BAD THIS GARDEN JUST GOT FLOODED HUH
Confident they would be able to sort the plants themselves, Serph rises and seemingly wanders off; he knows they have some lilies and daffodils elsewhere in the base. It shouldn't take him long to bring some back.]
