I wouldn't know much on how delicious it is. [A shrug.] I haven't had any in decades. At least you aren't wasteful, then, which I am certain Lysunder appreciates. I think.. he has grown used to the idea.
no subject
Delicious varies, so I imagine at this point you would not find it such. I grew so accustomed while in the wilds so it something I find myself having cravings for at times. He cares for those beasts so much I do not think I could do anything but make the kills clean and merciful.
Talking about it now, I do recall having seen some cookbooks in the library that specialized in recipes you might like. I will have to check them out; Expect lots of taste-testing.

[The idea of someone making food for him seems almost novel. Usually, it's him doing the reverse. He can't help the slight smile that's starting to sneak onto his face.]
no subject
[Just as novel as her cooking for someone. Baking was one thing, but she has not really had the chance to cook full meals for someone.]
no subject
[Back to tracing 100s on the tablecloth.]
I don't suppose you'd be interested in trying some of your own cooking?
no subject
[A feigned gasp, and then a smile.]
I think that is quite a wonderful idea.
no subject
[Ignore the way he's trying to hide his smile.]
What sort of thing would be best to bring then? I wouldn't want to bring you nothing, after all.
no subject
[In a place where everything is given freely, she actually has to think for a second.]
And How about I leave the liquid refreshments up to you? I should be able to take care of everything else easily enough.
no subject
That sounds perfectly fine to me. Let me know what you have planned, and I'll bring drinks to match. Perhaps-
[He trails off as the server comes back, bringing in an enormous food platter with a kind of spongy bread beneath it. There's another plate full of the same kind of bread, only smaller and rolled up a bit in presentation.]
no subject
Oh my, it is certainly impressive looking. You said we tear parts of the bread to eat it with, right?
no subject
[Taking some of the rolled up bread, he tears off a small chunk that can fit between his fingers and then reaches up to pick some of the food up into it.]
It's a rather novel concept, I think. There's some meat, as well, since I thought you would like that.
no subject
[Disciple takes some of the bread herself, tearing a piece off. She gathers up a little bit of one of things that look meat-like, and takes a bit. After a short bit a strange look comes over her face, and she begins groping for a water glass. She had managed to grab some spicy kitfo.]

It was, uhh... [Small cough.]...spicy.
Not bad though, it just... caught me off my guard, is all.
no subject
Would you like a small glass of milk? When it comes to spices, they tend to offer relief quicker than water or other such things.
[He doesn't want her to suffer too much, after all! She isn't his kismesis.]
no subject
[Still feeling the burn. Cough.]
...maybe some milk, yes.
[Then an impish smile.]
Do not think I missed that laugh, either; Mister.
no subject
[Even if he is still smiling as he gestures for the server to bring some milk..]
I was coughing.
no subject
[Same mischievous grin.]
Did that come from choking on all the laughter?
no subject
Not at all. My throat is simply dry. Can't a troll simply cough?
no subject
Nope!
[She flashes an especially silly grin.]
Not allowed.
You are only allowed to laugh at Disciple making a fool of herself. Because, let us be honest, it was funny...
no subject
[It is a fitting grin for her, because she is being especially silly right now. After just a little hesitation, he lowers his hand.]
I wouldn't want to be improper.
no subject
Okay then, new rule.
[Because that is how this works, right?]
If your moirail does something silly, it is no longer considered improper to laugh. Which should not come up much- because a refined and delicate flower such as myself never does anything silly.
no subject
[This is definitely how it works, Darkleer is pretty sure. He also doesn't know, so. Take that as you will.]
Laughter then. Now perhaps you'll want to try something that is not so spicy?
Yeah Wikipedia. -_-
[She somehow attempts to mimic a curtsy while sitting.]
Now... Yes, though, the spicy was good. Expecting the spice this time, and moderation, will make that more tolerable. Well now, Maybe some of this one...
[She tears another chunk and scoops a small amount of what appears to be a crumbly cheese. Disciple samples it, a bit more carefully then the previous attempt. It is an interesting taste, the cheese itself is fairly mild and uneventful, and actually serves to kill some of the sting of the spicy kitfo that was still lingering in her mouth. Almost as if it was meant for that exact purpose... almost.]
Not bad, not bad. I think this one will make the red, spicy, meaty stuff easier to eat.
no subject
Hopefully. I wouldn't want to make this an unbearable meal for you.
[As for himself, he's trying a bit of everything, in his own patient way. Just one by one, sticking to everything he knows doesn't include meat. Fortunately that includes a nice chunk of it.]
