[Definitely later... Perhaps when a pile is involved. Mostly he just wants to know about the small things. He's certain he can figure it out given enough time to just watch, but at least they're conversational things. It's a two way street, however, and he wants to show he's aware of that.]

If I had to guess, probably my lusus. He was one, after all. Then I started to learn more about things and realized there was art, and it just seemed to grow, really.

Yes, that is quite understandable. That would be where my interest in pouncebeasts must have originated as well. All those sweeps ago, with my lusus.

It's not that uncommon. I've known quite a few trolls that have taken on traits similar to their lusus or grown fond of that kind of creature. It's simply something that happens when one is raised by beasts.

I don't have anything really against tea... I suppose I like it well enough. I tend to prefer coffee, however. It helps wake me up somewhat. I suppose you are quite the fan of tea, however. Nepeta certainly seems to be.

Oh, I wish you would have told me something. I could have been making you coffee all this time. I only started drinking tea because of Nepeta. I really do like it, do not get me wrong, but only kept making it when you were over because I thought you loved it as well.

I suppose I did like it somewhat once, but tastes change. As I said, I have nothing against it.

I think Nepeta, at least, already knows. It's embarrassing that the children here seem to have their quadrants so more easily sorted out than I manage.

Yeah, this place may be something of a gilded cage, but it is a cage I believe I can accept. For everything it has given me. All the young ones Ive gotten to meet, Those of other races I never would have to, The chance to have a 'daughter', but most importantly all the second chances that simply were not possible back home.

[She fixes him with quite a vivid smile.]

I so I went on to assure him everything was okay, and even let him know we had entered into a moirallegiance. He seemed quite overjoyed.

A gilded cage is sometimes better than some would expect. Regardless, if one day we could gain control of this city, it would put many of us at ease.

Oh, Nepeta is as darling as ever. The two kittens we got have been really making us happy. I am really glad I went through with getting them.

It has been a little while since we have done something special though... maybe I will finally take her hunting like she has wanted.

Yes, I have been meaning to give them a test run. Having her along will help too. Game is more scarce during the winter. Having two will make everything simpler. It has been awhile since I hunted with anything other then my bare hands, it should prove interesting.
