Freshly equipped with new hands--new hands with thumbs!--Sufferer finds himself taking care of multiple trolls who have been turned into animals, including but not necessarily limited to multiple cats, an aquatic hoofbeast, an Alternian bee, and a mute penguin. Of course, this being the party hive that it is, others drop by during the course of the week as well.]

Whoops! Sufferer bends down and gently lifts Nepeta up and onto the couch, his metal hands whirring softly as the finger joints bend.

"Sufferer, Nepeta," he corrects quietly as he sets her on a cushion.

She laps affectionately at his fingers with her tongue when he picks her up, sliding down off of the cushion to clamber onto his lap instead. "Dad," she insists with a squeaky giggle, because that's one title he's not allowed to argue over. She rubs the top of her head against his stomach, making tiny little purring noises as she fawns over him.

Yeah, she's right, he's not going to argue with that, and starts scratching at the ruff on the back of her neck as she head-butts him. It's kind of nice, having all these cats around this week.

Tiny purring noises turn into a loud happy rumble at all of that delicious scritching, flopping over onto her back to present him with her tummy. More scritches please!

Tummy scratches it is! Sufferer gets both hands going, really working the fur on her belly.

Yesss, she is the most spoiled of kitties and she loves it! Once her tummy has been sufficiently scratched she starts to playfully try and catch and his fingers, making the oddest sound, a combination of happy squeaky giggles and a kittenish purr.

Sufferer lets her catch his fingers in her paws, but his amused expression fades, turning more serious.

"Don't try to bite those; you'll hurt your teeth." Mental is not nearly as yielding as flesh.

"I'd never ever bite you, dad!!" No, instead she just tugs his hands down to her face so that she can nuzzle all over them. They're cold and not as pleasant as it would be to nuzzle up to skin, but if she knows Darkleer at all he's given Signless back as much of the feeling in his hands as he could, and she wants him to feel her being affectionate all over him.

He can feel them pretty well, and lets her nuzzle against them, occasionally twitching them so he can scritch along her cheek. His free hand goes to her belly, rubbing it in slow, concentric circles.

Nepeta squirms about in ecstasy at the piles of affection being heaped onto her, and licks at his fingers whenever she can reach them. "Pick me up, dad! Pick me up!" She wants to lick his face for him and be cuddled - oh, she's actually missing her arms right now! If only she could hug him too!

Sufferer can see her licks, but his fingers aren't sensitive enough to pick up the sensation until a split second after the contact ends. It's something that's going to take some getting used to.

He obligingly scoops her up, though, cradling her furry little body against his shoulder like she's a grub.

Something about being held that way seems to spark off an instinctive reaction in Nepeta; she wriggles about happily in his hands, rubbing her furry little face to his shoulder and making low, affectionately squeaky purring sounds, content as can be.
