[It's that time again! A large pile of luxurious pillows, cushions, and bean bag chairs(!!!) is situated in the center plaza, all collected under a big banner toting the phrase:

~*~*~*~PUPPY THERAPY~*~*~*~
(Those in need of brushstroke training can come too.)

In addition to the pile, a small table of various confectioneries and treats has been set up. Along side it is a slightly shorter table lined with various balls, ropes, frisbees, and other silly dog toys. Chibi waits atop the cushion pile, looking as eager as ever. Come on! Let's spend the day doing nothing of importance.]

[If the main plaza is not your thing for one reason or another... For this one time, it's okay. Recent events may have made you a bit nervous about going outside, perhaps you simply can't, or maybe being seen playing with a dog in a public place is just embarrassing for you? Whatever, whatever, it's fine!

Chibi is also making house calls today.

Expect a knock on the door of your abode/hospital room/island shack/rock you crawled under/wherever at some point today! Upon answering you will discover Chibi sitting there, adorned in a big bow of your favorite color and holding a small basket full of treats you like to eat. How did he know to show up there? Well, we did just have a rumor week! Let's just say a little birdy told him to be at this place, at this time. For you.]

[Sufferer gratefully sinks onto the cushions, moving very carefully and using his core strength so as not to jostle his stumps. Then he looks over at Chibi, vaguely curious about the cheerful little dog.]

Hello.

[Chibi slides down the pillows about as clumsily as one might expect a pup navigating a pillow pile to (as in he trips and starts rolling), and slides to a halt at Sufferer's side.]

Woo... [Give him a second, he's kind of dizzy.]

Woah, careful!

[Sola plunks himself down on the pillows too, making sure to have Chibi between himself and Signless. He reaches over and pats the pup's head as if to sooth away the dizziness.]

Heh...

[Sufferer can't help but be amused by the little dog.]

Are you all right there, little one?

[He would reach out and pet the puppy but whoops, no hands.]

[Sola's careful hand does plenty to help soothe the dizziness, and Chibi is right as rain after a few seconds. He bounces back from stuff like that pretty quickly, you know! Not that he's... used to being clumsy... or anything...

Anyway.]

Arf! [He nods in response to Sufferer's question, hopping up and down on the spot and doing a cool pose to prove it. See? Totally fine!]

[Not quite containing his giggles, Sola stretches out on his stomach by Signless' side and scritches behind Chibi's ears, addressing the puppy as he would anyone else.]

Signless isn't feeling very well. Could you help cheer him up?

Sufferer.

[Siiiiigh. He's never going to convince everyone of that, is he?]

[He can't really argue with what Sola said, though, and he watches the puppy, waiting to see what, if anything, he'll do.]

[Chibi wuffles, shooting Sufferer a sympathetic look. Trust him, with nicknames like Mutt and Pork Chop, he's definitely used to people getting his name wrong.

But, hmm, how to cheer someone up... Funny things usually work there, right? He backs up a little, pretending to contemplate it a little bit more...

Then spins around quicklike and swipes Sola's hat.]

[Nope. Not gonna use Sufferer. Signless forever.]

Hey, that's mine!

[It's bad enough you touched his stuff during the body swap curse, Chibi, gosh! The Hylian scrambles after the puppy, the fact that his sylladex has fallen out of his hat and been left lying at Signless' side going completely unnoticed.

His grid is full of a lot of random objects at first glance, but if the Troll takes a closer look, one of the slots still contains a familiar flower, dried but preserved with obvious care.]

[Sufferer watches them play for a moment, his eyes wistful and far-away at their antics, before noticing the dropped sylladex. He knows how much having one means to Sola, and without thinking, he reaches out to try and pick it up so it doesn't get lost.]

[Of course, he can't pick it up, and he pauses, his stump hovering a few inches above it, and his eyes are drawn to the flower. Then he brings his arm up and wipes under his eyes. That was just a flower, something he used for an example, and to think that Sola kept it for so long, cherished it... excuse him. He needs a moment.]

[Chibi wuffles, hat safely clamped in his jaw as he tears off down the cushion pile, pillows flying every which way.

Catch him if you can, Sola!]

[A bunch more pillows go flying as Sola scrambles after the puppy, faceplanting directly into one of the beanbag chairs. He turns his head to Signless, about to whine at his Trolldad to make the puppy stop and bring back his hat, but the words die in his throat when he sees the red tears against that gray face.]

Are you okay?

[Chase for his hat forgotten, Sola makes his way back to his mentor instead, worry plain in his expression. He'd wanted to cheer Signless up, not make him cry!]

[Sufferer brushes at his cheeks, wiping away the incriminating stains.]

I'm fine.

[He nods at the ground.]

You dropped your sylladex. And the puppy still has your hat. Before go and get it from him.

[Hearing himself being referred to, Chibi circles back around to Sufferer's other side. And damn, if he doesn't ever look so flipping proud of himself for stealing that hat. The most smug puppy.]

[Not smug for long! As his Trolldad's mention of Chibi still in possession of his hat, the Hylian takes a slow sideways glance at the dog, then lunges for him, hopefully able to grab the fluffy little thief.

And also hopefully not toppling Signless over in between them.]

Gotcha!

[Sufferer leans out of the way; he won't join in the wrestling shenanigans, but he's more than happy to watch.]

Mph! [Ack, he's caught! Chibi makes a good show of struggling to escape, but he's really not trying all that hard. It's all theatrics and puppy eyes and whining while wearing this terribly amused little grin that he can't seem to shake.

He's a poor liar with no poker face, basically. Sola, your hat is free for the taking, he won't try to play tug of war with something that could rip so easily.]

[The hat is pretty much forgotten as Sola rolls down the pillow pile again with his quarry, rolling into a small and fuzzy heap on the grass at its edge. Sola can't help but burst into a fit of giggles at that, scratching Chibi behind the ears. He knows he came here for Signless, but Chibi is just so fuzzy.]

[Chibi would have attempted to fight back a little more, really, but aaauugh ear-scritches are his favorite! He concedes defeat, dropping the hat in favor of snuggling closer.]

[Vic~to~ry! Sola reclaims his hat and jams it back on his head, then picks Chibi right up an redeposits himself next to Signless and recommences with ear-scritches. Chibi seems to like them, anyway.

He looks up at his mentor with a smile, still flushed from the short-lived exertion.]

Are you having any fun?

You're both very cute right now.

[Sufferer leans in, so that his shoulder is touching Sola's, and sticks one elbow out from under his cloak and rubs it gently against Chibi's side.]

[Chibi puffs up, looking proud of himself.

Darn right he's cute!

And aww yeah, he got Sufferer to pet him, too! That's like a wordless compliment for Chibi, which makes the whole situation a double compliment. Today is a good day.]

[Sola turns a bit red at the compliment and sticks his nose in the air like a proper tsundere.]

I am not! Cute is for animals and babies!

[And replicas, apparently.]

Of course. My mistake.

[Sufferer keeps leaning on Sola, his elbow brushing against Chibi's side, and for a moment, almost feels like himself again.]

[Chibi rolls his eyes, shaking his head in disappointment.

Being cute is a good thing, dude! Just take the compliment.]
