[It's that time again! A large pile of luxurious pillows, cushions, and bean bag chairs(!!!) is situated in the center plaza, all collected under a big banner toting the phrase:

~*~*~*~PUPPY THERAPY~*~*~*~
(Those in need of brushstroke training can come too.)

In addition to the pile, a small table of various confectioneries and treats has been set up. Along side it is a slightly shorter table lined with various balls, ropes, frisbees, and other silly dog toys. Chibi waits atop the cushion pile, looking as eager as ever. Come on! Let's spend the day doing nothing of importance.]



[If the main plaza is not your thing for one reason or another... For this one time, it's okay. Recent events may have made you a bit nervous about going outside, perhaps you simply can't, or maybe being seen playing with a dog in a public place is just embarrassing for you? Whatever, whatever, it's fine!

Chibi is also making house calls today.

Expect a knock on the door of your abode/hospital room/island shack/rock you crawled under/wherever at some point today! Upon answering you will discover Chibi sitting there, adorned in a big bow of your favorite color and holding a small basket full of treats you like to eat. How did he know to show up there? Well, we did just have a rumor week! Let's just say a little birdy told him to be at this place, at this time. For you.]

Arf! [All right! Cherry Bomb is one of his favorites, you know? He gets the most mileage from it both in and out of battle.

Chibi proceeds to draw an actual Cherry Bomb, eager to get his paint on, and bounces it into the air where it explodes at a safe distance.]

[Little Sun Dog's technique is much faster and more precise than his, that's for certain. Practice and familiarity, Serph supposes. Watching, head tilts to track the Cherry Bomb's flight when it goes up into the air. Actually, now that he thinks about it, the explosion looks a little like the explosions he'd seen at some of the parties at Vatheon. Fireworks? he thinks they were called.

His attention goes back to the dog.]

Do you have a limit on the number you can draw?

[But does Serph mean the number of bombs present at once, or the number of bombs drawn per day?]

[Chibi assumes the former, and answers as such:

Back home, he could draw up to three at once! But here... Here, it's just one at a time. And it's not as powerful.

He's a little depressed about being reminded.] Wuff.

[Serph understands what it's like to lose strength. His demon is far weaker in Vatheon than it had been in the world he'd been in previously, and he's had a limit on the number of Cherry Bombs he can create per day ever since that divine power had left him.

He approaches so he's close enough to reach out and pet Chibi on the head; he'd been taught that cats like pats, which means dogs like pats, too, right? Pats seem to be the animal equivalent of hugs, judging from the reactions he's received. Serph rephrases his question.]

Do you have a daily limit? Two per day is all I can draw now.

[It's all good, headpets are his favorite! He inclines his head so Serph is scratching behind his ears.]

Rrr... [A sullen nod. Yeah, he's limited in a way. He has a lot of brushstrokes and he can use each one as many times as he wants... until he runs out of ink from his own personal inkwell.]

[bufudine]

[Serph is more than happy to scratch behind Chibi's ears. He might also be idly flapping one of Chibi's ears about with his forefinger and thumb.]

How many times is that?

[Each brush technique uses one inkwell right? Right?]

[Depends on the technique! Each brush stroke uses a different number of inkwells, and the number of inkwells he has per day depends on the level of power Lamufao is sending out that day...

Lately, he's been at 100%, so he can use the technique about... ten times a day.]

[bufudine]

[Oh okay then. Serph continues to pat Chibi in silence before he asks--]

Could you show me some of the other techniques?

[Now that he can see the Divine Scroll, now he'll know what Great Sun Dog did to bloom their flowers! And... if he knows that, he could totally learn techniques other than Cherry Bomb, right?]

[Serph's musings are correct, actually! Anybody can learn the brush techniques: what makes him special is that he's the designated god of Cherry Bomb and will always have a certain mastery over it that others can't achieve.

But, to get back to IC things, Chibi nods excitedly, more than happy to show off his other moves! He starts off with Power Slash, slicing into a nearby barrel and watching as the top half slides to the ground.]

[Oooooooh, a simple line, huh? The power behind that technique seems kind of dangerous, though. It's all too easy for Serph to imagine using the same technique on a person...

He nods in acknowledgement of Chibi's demonstration and as an indication for him to continue.

...But he's curious and wants to test something. If Chibi opens the Divine Scroll again, Serph will be drawing his own line over whatever Chibi draws.]

[Chibi had decided to demonstrate Restoration next! But juuust as he finishes carefully redrawing the shape of the barrel to return it to its rightful state, a straight line appears over his work! As two techniques can't be used at the same time, the drawn symbols cancel each other out and nothing happens. Chibi is shocked, but it's definitely a shock that's more along the lines of incredulity than confusion.]

Woof!! [Hey! What was that for?]

[WHOOPS. Serph hadn't known that would happen. He does, at least, have the grace to look a little apologetic. Just a little.

Still...

Since he hadn't drawn a brush technique, it didn't seem to use any ink? So, if he doesn't use a technique, it doesn't use up any of his ink bottles? He scribbles on the Divine Scroll to test this theory. Too bad he scribbles on the part of the Divine Scroll that covers Chibi--]

[Ink! Ink everywhere! Chibi is completely covered in the black drippy stuff, and it flies everywhere in his attempts to shake it off.]

Rrrr... arf! [So it's prank time now, huh? Two can play at that game! He draws a bunch of scribbles over Serph as well, aiming to give him his own ink bath!]

[hfsha;lshdfkl it's on. Serph doesn't even bother wiping it off, instead moving forwards to grab Chibi; Chibi can't douse Serph in ink if he's wrestled down so he can't draw with his tail, right?]

[Fortunately, the ink fades away on its own after a little while! But enough brushstroke exposition, it's play time.

Chibi doesn't catch on to Serph's intent in enough time, his dodge is too late and he is successfully captured!] Wuff--!
