Enter Mischief
Who: Loki and you
Where: The forest
When: Nighttime
Style: As you please
Status: Open
[It was a deafening crash to the ground. Dozens of trees were uprooted or snapped in half in a charred trail that led to a small crater in a clearing. Echos of the rumbling could still be heard tens of minutes after the dust has settled. Though there is still some thick smoke in the hole, one close enough could see that something stirs within. One foot out. And then another. Followed by the swish of a coat's hem and the judging eyes of a man burdened with glorious purpose.
Loki does not like it when things don't go according to plan. He was bound and gagged by his brother and they were on their way back home when a force painfully yanked him from the bridge to Asgard. Now here we was - both drenched in seawater and partially on fire, unscathed but The reason behind the failure of the transport he had yet to discover. Right now he scanned his surroundings and scoffed in disapproval.
It was a realm he had never been in before. It was frustrating because now his body has to adjust itself to the system of mana in this world... that is, if there even is one here. He tried to generate fire. Nothing but sparks.
He's going to need time to figure out his next move, but there would be little of that for now. He can hear someone nearing the crash site, probably to investigate, and Loki had not the energy to teleport, cloak himself or even move. Whoever was approaching, Loki had to at least make sure it was a safe encounter. He can't make enemies now. At least not yet.
He took a throwing knife from a hidden pocket on his back and stabbed himself in the gut without wincing or flinching. He knows it will completely heal before the night is over. And as soon as that someone came into view, Loki put on a panicked face and screamed.]
Help!! Somebody, please!! Help me!!
[He grinned in his mind. So it begins]

Purpose? Purpose for what?

I seek redemption. Surely if you know of Loki and Thor then you would know of our legends. But a god can tire of repeating the same cycles of Ragnarok. My brother doesn't believe me and that is why Thor pursues. The only way I can ever hope to reclaim his trust is if the all-seeing eyes of my father and the Norns themselves see that I have been rehabilitated of my past doings. And what better way to restitute my image than to be under the employ of a king who has mastered control over demons - even over the fallen Thor himself? Surely, if I am in your service and guidance, my actions will nothing be short of noble, yes?
In short, I ask you that you aid me in ending Ragnarok in my world once and for all.
(ooc: sorry for the late tag. your last reply actually stumped me.)

[Though noble... er. Maybe not. But still, the intent was there. That had to count for something, right?]
Considering that one of my goals is to stop war in my own world, I can agree to that. If it ends up being possible to go to each other's worlds, I would request your help in arguing the case to break my brother's curse - or help in doing myself should God not agree.
[Between two Lokis it should be manageable, right?]

[Game.]
As I too have had troubles with my brother, I can walk with you as you deal with yours. Though similar yet not the same, I can only begin to imagine your struggle against the suffering of a loved one. I will help you the same way I know you will help me survive whatever Thunder is sent my way to end me.
[Set.]
After all, dealing with an all-knowing Allfather has taught me that as masters of our own fate, we do not let anyone or anything else decide on a design for our lives. We must break limits and norms that hold us back from our true ideals and purposes. That I believe is the reason why we have this power. Imagine then what we can achieve together.

Completely shattering the rules is more of my brother's style. I prefer to bend them. ... And disregard them if I have to. I'll give you a friendly warning, though, since... well. People with large amounts of power have been known to go out of control here due to various influences. It's just a matter of... call it professional courtesy.
There is a defense force here. Should you - or anyone - begin acting in a manner that is destructive to the native residents, the visitors, or the city itself, they will take action. I am included in that force. Should you begin acting in that sort of manner, any agreement we have I'll consider null and void, and you'll be subject to whatever I have to do in order to stop you. Do you understand?

All I ask is protection from my brother, and my talents [and all the responsibilities tied with it] fall in your hands.
I shall comply to your terms.

[He reaches out his hand to shake. Even if it might not be needed, he doesn't want to be impolite.]

So you can just imagine his surprise that when he held the Summoner's hand, a mark glowed bright blue on Loki's chest.
It wasn't magic from the binding. It came from elsewhere, like a sudden breath of coldness in the air.]
Was that seal yours?

It's one that everyone ends up having here. If you show it to the locals they let you take things for free. Mine's on my shoulder.
