Enter Mischief
Who: Loki and you
Where: The forest
When: Nighttime
Style: As you please
Status: Open
[It was a deafening crash to the ground. Dozens of trees were uprooted or snapped in half in a charred trail that led to a small crater in a clearing. Echos of the rumbling could still be heard tens of minutes after the dust has settled. Though there is still some thick smoke in the hole, one close enough could see that something stirs within. One foot out. And then another. Followed by the swish of a coat's hem and the judging eyes of a man burdened with glorious purpose.
Loki does not like it when things don't go according to plan. He was bound and gagged by his brother and they were on their way back home when a force painfully yanked him from the bridge to Asgard. Now here we was - both drenched in seawater and partially on fire, unscathed but The reason behind the failure of the transport he had yet to discover. Right now he scanned his surroundings and scoffed in disapproval.
It was a realm he had never been in before. It was frustrating because now his body has to adjust itself to the system of mana in this world... that is, if there even is one here. He tried to generate fire. Nothing but sparks.
He's going to need time to figure out his next move, but there would be little of that for now. He can hear someone nearing the crash site, probably to investigate, and Loki had not the energy to teleport, cloak himself or even move. Whoever was approaching, Loki had to at least make sure it was a safe encounter. He can't make enemies now. At least not yet.
He took a throwing knife from a hidden pocket on his back and stabbed himself in the gut without wincing or flinching. He knows it will completely heal before the night is over. And as soon as that someone came into view, Loki put on a panicked face and screamed.]
Help!! Somebody, please!! Help me!!
[He grinned in his mind. So it begins]

As for healing... That's not precisely my specialty. Can you walk for a bit longer? We should be able to find someone with that kind of ability. If nothing else, Estelle can help.

[Loki bowed (and groaned) graciously, or at least as much as his "wound" let him.]
I am in your debt.
[Though Loki felt she possessed some form of magical energy, he was unsure whether it will be worth troubling just one girl. But when she hinted that there were more of them, he can't help but smile.
There's a number of them here. And she was going to lead him to them.]

Come on, then.
*Rita quickly starts heading into another part of the Bubble.*
I'm Rita, by the way. You?

Loki...

*And no further reaction. Apparently, the Norse myths didn't exist in her world. Or at least, this girl didn't know them. Convenient, if nothing else.*
You doing okay back there?
no subject
Quite. But I must ask, where are we? It has been troubling me ever since I was just transported here without cause or warning.

You mean to say... We're all here to stay indefinitely? No one can come and go as they please?
no subject
Though you mentioned you're able to world jump? That might work. I... Really don't know.

I might as well get to know this place. I haven't come across this world in my travels before and my scholarly self would be ashamed if I left one corner of the multiverse uncharted.

Are there things I must know though? Something newcomers should know...

*Loki? Time for a quick mind-read to make sure you know WTF she's talking about...*

You see, I am a scholar myself. And I would very much love to consume... as much knowledge as I can.
Would you happen to be able to demonstrate the difference?

If you're of a scholarly sort, we might be able to take some time at some point. Time seems to be one of the few things you have when you're here.
