♑ Many small boxes and Maruzee
Who: Troll kids and anyone who wants to join
When: Saturday, May 26, in the early afternoon
Where: The Land of Boxes and Joy
Style: Whichever.
Status: Open, feel free to threadjack and use it as a general mingling log.
[Boxes. Boxes! So many boxes.
Gamzee knows how these boxes got here --miracles!-- and for what reason --mating! cause that is what all animals on tv do when they come together in large groups which clearly means that in a few weeks they will hear the pitter-patter of little matchboxes-- but he has no idea what he is doing. Well. He is building. Duh. But he has no idea what it will be. He figures the boxes will just let him know once he is done building. So far he's got a stack of boxes put together in the centre and the starts of a haphazard wall surrounding them. Could be anything really.
But it is totally a boxfort.]

[Wouldn't that be amazing if he had a spine made of slime? He could just ooze everywhere. And he is more than happy to lean into the not-actually-illegal cuddles.]

[Ill-advised idea as that was. But this here and now is... actually kind of nice, odd though it is. From here he has a view of the sky overhead, and in his ears are the sound of the ocean and Gamzee's breathing, when they're not speaking. One might even call it relaxing - even for Karkat of all trolls.]
[A question does however come to mind about the rest of the scenario.]
Hey, do you even know where all these boxes came from?
no subject
[But he doesn't question it! It seems like a silly thing to question where boxes come from. Man, just let the boxes go where they wanna go, you know? They are free too. Besides, laying like this, cuddled against Karkat, enjoying the heat of his body and the sounds of the sea, he is far too chill to care about anything.]

[Nevermind that he... more or less did the same thing. And isn't exactly trying to dislodge Gamzee. His hair is just fuzzy to rest his face against, okay!]
no subject
[Because why question things, man. That is effort.]
The boxes wouldn't up and answer anyway.

[Sigh. He may have all the pale pity in the world for Gamzee, but these moments haven't gone anywhere.]
You could have looked around for other people, or tried to see if you could find who brought them up here in the first place. Maybe a sign somewhere, or some sort of... I don't know... specific thing at some point along this gritty sand heap. There has to be some reason they're here.
no subject
Probably. But I ain't gotta be in the know on what that motherfuckin' reason might be to all get my glad on.

[Grump grump being a cranky leader is hard.]

[He reaches up to pat Karkat's cheek lazily.
shoosh, Karkat. You know you'd hate it if your moirail was every bit the grouch you are.]
no subject
[Which, Karkat being Karkat, begs a certain question.]
Whatever. Just how long as we going to stay stuck in this box?
no subject
[Yep. That sure is an answer.]
no subject
[No it isn't. Though he's still not trying to climb out.]
no subject
[A shitty answer is still an answer!]
