001 - Welcome to the Bubble
Who: Dhaos and anyone
Where: the Plaza
When: now
Style: any
Status: Open
[If one were to go to the plaza, they might see a tall blond man sitting on the ground looking utterly befuddled. Certainly an understandable reaction to the situation considering that last he knew he'd been bleeding to death, and yet here he was, sitting in an unknown place with only minor injuries and drenched to the bone. If this was the afterlife, it was more than a little strange.]

With a look at Zelda, Zelos turns around and starts heading for home, folding his hands behind his head nonchalantly as he walks.]

[You can't ever assume these things in Vatheon, people. Zelda is far more comfortable turning on the faucet for someone BEFORE they take their clothes off, thank you. She leads Dhaos to the spa-like bathroom in the lower part of the house.]

[Granted, it had been a while since he'd seen a bath like this; indoor plumbing is rather difficult to manage when your castle is floating in the air, so he'd had to rely on magic. Still, the mechanisms look pretty much the same as the ones back home, so he can manage.
Indeed, it only takes a few minutes of fiddling with the taps after his gracious hostess leaves to get the water at an acceptable temperature. His cloak is shed easily enough, but the bodysuit gives him a bit more trouble, stiffened with salt and blood as it is. All and all, Dhaos is rather glad when he finally can focus on simply cleaning the dried blood from his skin.]

This was certainly unexpected.

[He's obviously unhappy, nerves taught enough to begin to show some fraying that he's not bothering to hide, which in and of itself is worrisome. The fact that this guy exists at all, four thousand years older than himself (would he still be alive then? It's possible and the thought is unsettling) sticks in Zelos's craw and makes him want to barge in there and force answers right this minute.
He settles for tapping his heel on the floor in frustration.]

[Zelda looks quite stern about it. Like Zelos or not, what the tall man needs is clearly some sleep, not a game of 20 questions.]
no subject
[Nope, sorry Zelda, but he's gotta get his information asap. He needs to make sure they did their job back in his millenium.]
Dhaos can tag back in at any time, or are we going to handwave him getting a room?
[Something about whatever he lost strikes a chord with her. It hurts...]

I...don't have any spare clothing...
no subject
[He's so tall, what can she possibly offer him? Even Zelos's massive pants will be a little awkward.]
I will go out and get you something, alright? Please use the bathrobe hanging in there in the meantime.
[That's going to be a lot of leg. Zelda hurries out of the house (after one last glance at Zelos reminding him to BE NICE) to find clothing that can fit a six foot seven man. At least everything in Vatheon is free!]
no subject
So. You're an Angel, then.

[Dhaos shifts uncomfortably. He has the feeling that he's not going to like where this line of questioning goes. The fact that the bathrobe was definitely not made for someone of his size, leaving him feel rather exposed, really doesn't help either.]
no subject
You say you don't remember Mithos? How old are you, then?
no subject
...I...don't actually know. Less than two centuries I believe...?
no subject
Is Kratos still alive then?
[It's slight, but he clenches his hands on his arms. Damn does he hate Kratos. He can't decide if he wants the answer to be that the guy's dead or that he's sill living in guilt.]
no subject
...Last I knew. I have...been away for quite some time.
[And by "quite some time" he means "multiple times your age." He feels a pang of sadness at the realization that he'd likely been traveling far longer than he'd spent time at home.]
no subject
Is that how you got so beaten up? Traveling?
[Zelos's tone warms up slightly. A non-hostile approach seems to be working better for information, so he'll keep up with that avenue.]
I know of Derris Kharlan. I'm from Aselia, after all. Have you heard of it?
[It's a stupid test, really, but Zelos has to be sure Kratos took that damn place away and truly didn't return.]
no subject
Aselia was the last stop on my very long journey...and had this place not intervened, my grave. [He sounds unnaturally calm about this fact. Only the slightest tinge of loneliness colours his otherwise toneless voice.]
no subject
Yeah, Vatheon does that.
no subject
Alright, I'm back! I hope this will do for now. Everything is free here, so you can look for something that suits you later.
