It's fun exploring new worlds!
Who: Sora and all of Vatheon!
Where: Wherever you want~ Sora's probably managed to find the place.
Style: I'll match
Status: OPEN
Summary: It's a new worlds, and there's no way Sora's not going to go exploring!
Sora was wondering around Vatheon with seemingly nothing better to do. He'd been reunited with a good portion of his friends from home, and he was for the most part feeling pretty good about things. It sucked a bit that they'd probably never make it back home, but at least they were here together.
Now with nothing but free time on his hands he was wondering around Vatheon exploring the place for all it was worth! If he was going to be stuck here for awhile he might as well know where everything was, and meet some new people besides!

Sora might not look like much, but from a few years experience he'd had to learn how to fight, and hold his own against some tough opponents. There wasn't a lot that could keep Sora down.
"Is it really that dangerous around here?"

The Agorians in Polaris were giant, and still formidable, but with the right tactics from even the smallest Lombax, they went down faster than a house of cards. He admired the kid's confidence, if anything. Confidence was good to have in the heat of battle, so long as it didn't completely overshadow everything else.
"The worst I've seen so far was the 'joke' the city seemed to have played. With that, I don't doubt its capability to do some serious damage."
He shifts a little, feeling slightly restless in one position for so long. "Though I've heard stories of it doing far worse, ranging from monster attacks, to changing inhabitants themselves. We can't let our guard down."
no subject
"What joke?" He looked curious and a touch apprehensive.
He'd only just arrived, so he wasn't aware first hand about what this city could pull.

The Lombax's tone drops as well, falling into something more quiet, serious. "The victim had been decapitated, taunts written in blood and signs around the body. But... none of it was real."
Murder was a sore spot for him, and it definately showed on the old General's face. There was heartache, and an uncomfortable memory that came with the sight.
"...it wasn't real."

"I only got here a week ago, but something like that's not cool."
He'd heard about the curses, pranks like that just seemed in poor taste.

And for now, Alister would be happy to let the topic subside. Murder, death, and destruction were just a few of the many things he never wanted to witness, or cause, again. And if the other was a new arrival, that was not the proper way to welcome them into the city.
He straightens up.
"General Alister Azimuth. Yourself?"

He drops the pose not too long later though. Sora's no soldier at least not in the classical sense.
"How long have you been here Alister?" So much for formalities.
no subject
"Sora, hm? Mind your manners and you'll do well, I think."
Though the Lombax's stance stays firm and practiced. "A couple of weeks, I would say. Time is difficult to tell when you're underwater. But there are those that have been here longer, who'd seen more of what the coral is capable of."
He still had a lot to learn. That didn't take a neurotic cybernetics surgeon to figure out.
"Stay on your toes, and you'll make it through fine, my boy."
no subject
"Right." He nodded. Sora's look and stance were completely determined. He'd been to enough worlds that this place wasn't going to get the better of him.

He remembered a time where he and Kaden had been in the same position as kids, stumbling across the Praetorian Guard together and finding ways to pants that General. Nobody really knew how two eight-year-old Lombaxes managed to breach the defense, so they never spoke of it again.
"Meaning you could have those of us here who won't be as lenient as I'm being." And even that was a surprise. Maybe he was being too lenient?
"Things aren't always what they seem, after all."
no subject
"Thanks, Alister."

Far be it from Alister to turn down an opportunity like this, taking on a new challenge from the city, even if it wasn't from the city itself. He was developing his own, personal goals as time went on - goals that wouldn't involve time travel, or that old obsession he'd had. He knew what came of those.
And he would do things right this time.
"How well-versed are you in combat? There might come the time where your natural abilities may not be enough." He explains this carefully, auburn eyes watching the smaller form with diligence. "Lombaxes are known for being resourceful, using whatever's available on the field to serve as a defense."
