[The second Sola discovered the nature of the bubble's new game, he hit the ground running. Quests? Potions? The chance to help everyone and be a hero? This is definitely right up his alley!

This week and next Sola can be found running around more than usual. He's even taken up residence in the "Inn" for the duration, sleeping there every night instead of at his own house. The innkeeper will be happier that way, right?

Sola will take on any and every task and in order to find them all, he's going out of his way to talk to everyone, so he can be seen conversing with NPCs a lot. Y'know, when he's not out fighting wolves for their teeth and shanks, delivering a message for a lazy shopkeeper, or cleaning up in front of the bakery every damn day this week (rotten kids!). Of course, some of these quests he needs help with; what's a warrior on a group quest without some support, right?]

((ooc: Sola's all about the level grinding for this curse! If anyone would like to help out/ complete a quest with him, please just comment below with the quest title in the link. I'll set up a few that I've already worked out with people (as such, those are closed to just the people in question). The threads don't have to be the quests themselves, they can just be talking after, or setting up to go out! And don't be surprise if Sola mentions something about the coral to every single one of you.))

[Sorry Ganymede but Sola wasn't made for stealth. He'd rather hit things.]

[He can't help but shoot Sola a bit of a glare. He still feels like he looks silly in his open vest with a fur collar still wearing his jewelry and the boots are uncomfortable after eons in sandals.

He lifts a hand to his face and presses his fingers against his mouth.]

Are you really that eager to fight?

[He responds in a stage whisper, irritated.]

Of course I am, I'm a warrior. It's what I'm supposed to do!

Down By the Bay (etc); Darkleer only

[It's rather nice to be doing a quest with someone he knows and is quite fond of. There's a certain reliability there that can't be guaranteed with some of the other individuals he's paired up with. And Sola is so... enthuisiastic.]

[Brushing his hair back away from his face, Darkleer keeps an eye out as the bay starts to get closer.]

A Gamble with your Dignity; Laharl and Johnny only

[Okay, he knew stuffing Laharl into a bunny suit was going to be hilarious which is why he did it. What he didn't expect was that Johnny's kind of hot in it.

He'll just... not look at his matesprit for the moment...]

[This has to be the worst day of his life. How did this happen?

What the hell is he wearing?

The horror of it actually seems to have overloaded him for the moment. He may start clawing at the costume shortly.]

Shiny Things; Johnny only

[On their way back to the Bug-eyed man, Sola just can't stop taking the jewel out to stare at. It's just so pretty...]

...What if we just said we couldn't find it?

[He hadn't really been paying attention, he was more than happy to just get this one over with, but Sola's question caught his attention and he gave the hylian a curious look.]

Why? So we could keep it? There's no real reason for that. Besides, that wouldn't really be getting the quest done, now would it?

[He was going to say something about lying was bad but he doesn't feel like being a hypocrite today.]

OH WHERE, OH WHERE COULD HE BE? (possibly?)

[Rinoa can be found peering intently at the one quest notice, listing details about a lost dog. Cue a very worried Rinoa, one who has no decent weapon and therefore no means to fight.]

[And cue Sola, who has a nice big sword and a shiny shield to boot!]

An Urgent Request; Johnny Only

Maybe we should have brought someone who can do magic.

[Sola had been all gung-ho to get the slime for the head nurse. After all, finding a way to get rid of these gross slime monsters so no one gets hurt is nothing short of a noble cause, right? But his sword doesn't do much here and while he can bash them with his shield, it's not very effective.

Three hard fought hours later and Sola's exhausted and queasy. They'd retreated back to the entrance, thankfully bereft of monsters, to scrape what they could from his weapons and armor and to rest. As testament to how much contact he'd had wit the slime, they managed to collect a half bottle just from what's left on Sola's person after fighting.

Gross, no wonder he feels queasy.]

[Johnny put his fingers on Sola's forehead, letting the cure spell travel through them and to the hylian.]

You did well. If they were easy to get rid of then we wouldn't be here.

What smells like rotten fish?; Darkleer and Ruca

[Sola's still not as confident about this as he probably should be. Of course people getting dragged down and devoured is no good and when Darkleer brought his attention to the quest he was raring to go, but even though he's collected a cleric friend (hi Ruca), he knows he and Darkleer have fought the zombie mermaids before, and they finally found what they think is the right cave, he's still not so sure.

Sola raises his lantern up to peer into the inky blackness in front of them.]

Well it definitely smells like bad fish...

It's similar to the smell we encountered when we did the first quest for the old man...

[Darkleer is usually quite comfortable with darkness, trolls be nocturnal as they are and his own connection to the Void, but he doesn't like when it's used against him. With Arty standing protectively by him, he readies an arrow.]

Panty raid! Sufferer only

It's because she's really mean, okay?

[Sola does sort of feel like he has to justify this quest to his Trolldad. It's... not exactly something he would normally do, after all. It's mean spirited and embarrassing, but damnit the head nurse deserves it! He keeps talking as they make their way down into the dungeon head nurse's house. It had taken a distraction to get her to look away long enough to gain access, but they'd managed.]

She didn't care at all that Link got sent away.

I know she's mean, Sola, but this just doesn't seem right!

[How did Sufferer get dragged into this? He wants to know, seriously! He'd been perfectly happy to play his guitar all day and fling glitter around and marvel at the impressive codpiece he's sporting. But now he's trying to steal someone's panties, and this is just weird.]

[He softens a little when Sola mentions Link, though.]

I'm sorry he's gone. I know you miss him.

Trials of three; Ruca and Ganymede

[The mouth of the cave looms wide as the three intrepid adventurers stare into the gaping maw of the mountain crag. They'd been walking for quite some time to find this place and now that they finally had, Sola is all keyed up to continue, excited at what sorts of treasure and puzzles may await them in the stony depths.

His party might not be quite as enthused though...]

<sub>[Ruca is as worried as always, but at the same time he can't help but be curious about what might be inside the cave. And really, maybe he doesn't have much to worry... He'll be fine together with Sola and Ganymede.

Thief/Guard in the Night; Johnny only

[With all the excitement Sola can't blame the business man for wanting to protect his stuff, and taking one night to help him do that isn't that big of a deal. Even if it is really boring. He's really not sure who'd try and steal a small statue of a fat octopus but he guesses it might be valuable since it's made of crystal or something.

With a shrug, Sola leans against the wall next to the statue and plans to pass the night quietly...]

[Cleric-turned-thief probably wasn't the most conventional thing, but the quest required stealth, something he had that wasn't a by-product of being a vampire, and it was a quest he could do alone.

His target was hardly the most aesthetically pleasing thing, but people were always crazy about things made from crystal, even if it was an ugly octopus.

He'd already done a quick survey and assessed the skylight on the roof was a good entrance point; his only real obstacle was the person he could hear inside, but he had an idea for that too. Johnny swung his staff and hit a nearby barrel, hard, sending it careening into a pile of similar barrels near the door and causing a satisfying ruckus.

Before the pile had even collapsed, he was on the roof and using every ounce of his cat-like grace to pry up the glass quietly. Hopefully this guard was the sort of person to check around for a while before returning to his post...]

Nostalgia; Gamzee

[Sola's taken to checking the quest board once a day. He's a little miffed at missing out on the fun of fighting two boss monsters in a row now (even if he shouldn't want to kill boss monsters... but if they're causing trouble, even Gromble can't complain right?), he keeps checking anyway. After all, people still keep needing help and with his advanced levels, he's in a good position to do so.]

Hmm.. maybe this one..

[Gamzee has spend a lot of time chilling around the quest board. Not cause he is motivated and driven to win this thing (he has probably already forgotten there is a prize at all) but mostly just cause these quest give him a good chance for kicking it with his bros. So when he spotted Sola peering at the board in such concentration, that was his cue for ambling over, and casually dropping an arm around his shoulder.]

Heeeey, man. Wassup?

Silence in the Library pt 2; Sheena and Sufferer

[When Sola pulled a group together to get the shadows out of the library it was more as an apology to the librarian for the racket he'd caused than anything else, but surprisingly he'd planned ahead. A rogue who would be useful in seeing what others didn't and a bard for creating light in order to herd the shadows. Yes, he actually thought it through! He's pretty observant and clever when he wants to be.

Still, it's pretty creepy in here when it's utterly silent, even if it is a library.]

I think we should uncover the windows.

[Sufferer gets out his guitar and starts playing the tune that makes light appear, creating a little glowing sun that hangs a few inches above his head. He doesn't notice how that seems to attract some shadows towards him...]
