[The second Sola discovered the nature of the bubble's new game, he hit the ground running. Quests? Potions? The chance to help everyone and be a hero? This is definitely right up his alley!

This week and next Sola can be found running around more than usual. He's even taken up residence in the "Inn" for the duration, sleeping there every night instead of at his own house. The innkeeper will be happier that way, right?

Sola will take on any and every task and in order to find them all, he's going out of his way to talk to everyone, so he can be seen conversing with NPCs a lot. Y'know, when he's not out fighting wolves for their teeth and shanks, delivering a message for a lazy shopkeeper, or cleaning up in front of the bakery every damn day this week (rotten kids!). Of course, some of these quests he needs help with; what's a warrior on a group quest without some support, right?]

((ooc: Sola's all about the level grinding for this curse! If anyone would like to help out/ complete a quest with him, please just comment below with the quest title in the link. I'll set up a few that I've already worked out with people (as such, those are closed to just the people in question). The threads don't have to be the quests themselves, they can just be talking after, or setting up to go out! And don't be surprise if Sola mentions something about the coral to every single one of you.))

[Her eye is caught, right after she registers Sola's question. She'll acknowledge her in a moment, but first things first:]

It's this notice. Someone lost their dog in the woods. I'm good with them so I want to help, but I'm limited to just healing. If I got attacked, I'd only have this stupid stick. [She waves her staff.]

Oh! I can fight, I'll go with you!

[Though Rinoa isn't the only one with eyes that Tifa's caught. Sola turns to the woman to his right and smiles.]

Did you want to come and help too? I saw you looking.

[fightforastar]

If you need an extra sword arm, I'd be happy to.

[She holds out a gauntleted hand.]

It's Tifa. I'm a friend of Rinoa's.

order swap? Rinoa can go next, it just seems weird to have her comment in the middle of an intro

[Sola takes Tifa's offered hand and shakes it firmly, smiling.]

My name is Sola. I'm Rinoa's friend too. It's nice to meet you!

Really? You'll both help?

[That would make her feel so much better.]

I'll keep you guys healed and everything! And when we find the dog, I'll handle it.

I think we'll do just fine then.

[Two fighters and a healer/dog-wrangler. No problem.]

[Off he marches, in the lead! Sola's pretty confident about this~]

[Rinoa follows along, staff tucked under her arm and robe shuffling on the ground.]

You think we'll run into anything really strong?

[Tifa lets Sola lead and walks along with Rinoa.]

There might be some wolves out there still, but they weren't too tough.

I'm not worried about wolves. I have a necklace that scares them now, see?

[He takes the wolf fang amulet from under his chest plate and shows it off to the two women.]

We'll be just fine.

Oh wow, it repels all of them?

[That'll make this a whole lot easier, then.]

Hopefully it won't do the same to the dog.

[Tifa actually has one of those, too, though she hasn't had the chance to test it out. This really should be an easy quest.]

Hopefully not. I think it's supposed to be specific to wolves so we should be okay..

Yeah! No worries!

[And on Sola merrily goes, leading the girls to the woods. When they arrive, he takes out his sword and shield to be safe before they step into the shade of the trees.]

Since it's a dog, do you think whistling for it would work?

[sorcery_fledgling]

It should, depending on how close it is.

[Rinoa inhales deeply before bringing her fingers to her lips. With a shrill note, she whistles for the dog.

...

Nothing. Not after a few seconds, anyway.]

[fightforastar]

Maybe it's gotten scared with all the wolves around.

[Tifa's looking about as they venture farther in, hand on her sword hilt.]

Maybe, or maybe it's deeper in the forest. We've gotta rescue it!

[Inward they go?]

[sorcery_fledgling]

Of course! We'll just have to keep looking.

[Rinoa is already heading in, whistling about every thirty seconds or so for the dog. Someone is bound and determined to do this.]

[Some motion in the trees catches Tifa's eye and she points her companions towards it.]

There, I think I saw something.

[With a quiet that's unusual for someone wearing armor, Sola creeps over to hide behind a tree and take a peek at what Tifa may have seen.

That little dog certainly looks out of place trying to keep up with a pack of wolves! Though, strangely enough, the wolves seem to be slowing themselves down at least a little so the dogs little legs can try to keep up. Really it's kind of cute.

A little ways into a clearing, still visible but not in earshot, the entire group stops to rest. It gives Sola the opportunity to motion Rinoa and Tifa over so they can see and maybe plan their next move.]

[Rinoa seen some strange behavior in dogs, but this kind of takes the cake. Logically, it makes sense a dog might want to be part of a pack, but of all the creatures to join up with...]

It doesn't seem hurt. [She keeps her voice low as she can.] If you guys can shoo off the wolves, I should be able to get the dog.

[fightforastar]

[Tifa nods, watching for a moment.]

We'll need to try to separate them.

[At least the wolves don't seem to have completely accepted the wannabe into their midst. It's still on the edge of the group as they're resting. Tifa catches Sola's eye and motions moving around the clearing. If they enter from this side the dog might very well run off with the wolves again, but if they come in from the side they might be able to get between them...]

[Sola can see what Tifa's after right away and nods, moving carefully to follow her around the clearing and come through at a point where they can get between the wolves and the little dog with delusions of grandeur.

He'll go on her signal.]

[Rinoa, meanwhile, is gonna circle around to get within range of the dog. She'll go once the dog is separated from the wolves.]

[All right, this looks like a good position. Tifa looks over to Sola and nods decisively. Then, she breaks cover.]

[Sola runs out at the same time, looking more to scare the wolves than fight them, hopefully in a separate direction from the puppy.]
