Is it that time of the month already?

...No, today is not the start of shark week.

The Station Master's taken precautions to make this month's mingle party nice and laid back, after that rather magnetic week. Today, locals are all over the Plaza starting to put up the decorations for this strange holiday known as "Christmas", and they're more than happy to cheerfully rope any foreigner who doesn't look too busy into helping them.

The food tables are back, albeit with more drink than food. Hot chocolate, gluhwein mulled wine, a huge bowl of fruit punch, you name it, it's there. Foodwise, there's snowflake shaped crackers with cheese and meats, shrimp cocktails, cups filled with green or red jelly, and plenty of cookies to go around.

Near the food tables are the two usual booths, one belonging to the Welcoming Committee, armed with all the information a newbie would want to know, and the other belonging to the Host Club, manned by all the male eyecandy you could ever need. Have they done something special for their booths this festive season? Better sashay their way and find out!

Walking around all the tables and booths is what looks to be a giant lobster(???) in a Santa suit handing out candy to anyone and everyone nearby. It seems the locals don't understand that it's "Santa Claus", not "Sandy Claws."

Finally, it looks like there's been a new addition to the plaza. Was that ice skating rink over there last night?? It certainly fits the theme, and the locals don't seem to be surprised. They'll even help you lace up those skates and take them for a spin. Bundle up and try not to fall too much!

[It's all been decked out in holiday-fitting colours, with little envelopes with tiny silver bells attached to red and green bows on the front scattered attractively over the otherwise clean surface. Inside the envelopes are cards with eloquent, slanted script flirting playfully at their lady readers--little well-wishes in the spirit of things, though they are. And maybe some of these cards are a little goofier than others, but hey~ It's alright, isn't it? Some girls love that!

At the booth lounges Peony, dressed up in similar colours offset by a little more silver and white, and with a grin for any who approach. Someone's gotta do it while Zelos is unable, after all.]

[Serph, on the other hand, isn't really getting into this holiday spirit. Mostly because Serph doesn't know anything about holidays, never mind Christmas. But he's snagged one of the envelopes and is reading one of the cards.

It says, "You light my fire!"

...He doesn't understand at all. He holds it out for Peony to see.]

What does this mean?

[Peony leans forward with a curious hum, though his grin remains in place. His brows arch and he peers up at Serph from under his fringe. Cheeky~ He's inviting a lot of teasing with that question.]

Ever hear passion described as a fire~?

[SERPH HAS NO IDEA WHAT HE'S IN FOR. He shakes his head. Nope.]

How is it like fire?

[Oh. Oh, really, Serph? You're doomed, man. Peony shifts to prop his chin on the heel of his palm, elbow on the table.]

Because it burns~ right?

[Just getting started, but oh, this is going to be amusing, isn't it?]

[What is that look even, Peony. Serph looks at Peony, then back at the card, then back at Peony. He's completely nonplussed, and draws his brows together in a slight frown.

He hasn't seen anyone on fire. Maybe he's missing something, here.]

Could I have a demonstration?

[Definitely amusing. And that look is now something even more entertained, but at the same time a little pitying. Oh, Serph. It's like trying to explain things to a more oblivious Jade, almost!

To troll or not to troll...

Obvious answer is obvious.]

Well, it's all inside, so it's hard to demonstrate.

But first your heart catches fire, and it slowly spreads everywhere. And it's usually just one person who does it, but there are some people who react like that from more than one.

[Being on fire sounds pretty bad!!]

Well, if it starts from the inside, don't you think people are made to be able to handle it? It's a natural reaction~

Passion is very different! It's all from the inside, even if it is a reaction. This reaction isn't because you've eaten anything bad or gotten sick.
