⊙ hey, have you seen the blind girl in disguise—
Who: Tsubaki Kasugano & you
Location: The plaza and that general area.
Time: Mid-day?
Style: Whatever you like.
Status: Open!
I-I’m sorry—
[Tsubaki is wet, and visibly in a huff as she darts away from the stand. Something in between anger and embarrassment displays plain on her face; and it perhaps has to do with the local she can hear, laughing behind her as she goes, clinging to the towel that she’d been given like it was some lifeline. ‘It’ll work better than that shirt you just grabbed,’ he said—how was she supposed to know? She can barely see where she’s going, after all, which…okay, probably makes this whole running away thing a bad idea, but still.
—Heh!
Incidentally, he’d told her it was okay to keep the shirt as well, which was strange. But she didn’t question it at the time. She simply wanted to get to a quiet place to think for now, about exactly where she is and how she got there. Because this isn’t the Sacred Eye temple, is it?
That detective…Akise Aru. Somehow he’d set her free. There are no longer any mysteries tying her to the cult, forcing her to stay; and she was glad that she could repay him, at least in part. But at the same time, she didn’t think she’d be leaving so soon…
So where exactly did she wind up?
She doesn’t know, but she’ll find out. Even if it means maybe asking one of these many voices she’s hearing right now, the blur of faces around her…
Who are they all?]
(( OOC: so basically tl;dr, Tsubaki's kind of embarassed herself in front of a local and is looking for a quiet place to think. she has really poor eyesight so feel free to have your character run into her at any point during all this! ))

You lost, lady?
no subject
She can hear you, y'know. She may not have great eyesight, but the snickering is pretty hard to miss and ignore.]
...Actually, yes. I believe lost describes my situation perfectly.
[Tsubaki keeps her distance, though, eying him a bit wearily and suspiciously as she attempts to squeeze some water out of her very, very long hair.]
Are you going to enlighten me?
no subject
Well, I could~
no subject
She simply folds her arms, looking at this blur of a person in front of her with a sigh.]
But you won't. Is that right?

He walks through the plaza, bag in hand brimming with food (it had taken him no time at all to get used to not having to pay for things. He received gifts all the time at home from his adoring hunnys~) when he notices a young girl looking fairly lost and clutching a towel for dear life.
Guess it's true, there are new people arriving all the time.
She can't be older than mid-teens. Pale skin, which he takes to mean she doesn't get out much, and there's a dullness to her one visible eye that strikes him as off. Paired with her turning towards the different sounds around her, he thinks maybe she needs glasses. That's not what draws him to her, though. Other than his own experience of being damned confused when he arrived, there's something about this girl and the way she stands and moves that strikes him as all too familiar. A special posture adopted when you know some of the worst life can throw at you and come to expect it.
He approached slowly and was sure to make quite a bit of noise with his steps and shopping bag so as not to startle her.]
Hey there, hunny♥ Welcome to Vatheon.
no subject
...
But no. She really wasn't, was she?
No amount of discomfort here could match what she'd gone through at the temple, and she dare not think back on it now. She has to look forward, because Akise had given her the chance to do so. Casually, she reaches into her miko and is about to pull out what appears to be a long scroll of sorts, rolled up neatly. She's almost forgotten he's there for a moment, but she is eying him out of the corner of her eye, as always. She has to be on her guard...
And when the man speaks, she takes a step back; blinking a couple times at his words, baffled. He may as well have been speaking another language. All she knows is, she does not like him speaking so familiarly towards her.]
...Are you addressing me?
no subject
Ah, yeah, sorry miss. You just look a little lost so I thought I'd offer my help♥. My name is Zelos, and this place here you've landed in the middle of is called Vatheon. You're on another world.
[He stands by after that, allowing her to digest the information before offering any more in order to prevent the strange girl from becoming overwhelmed.
He does eye the scroll, though. He's seen certain people do some troublesome things with scrolls.]
no subject
For now. But at the very least, she doesn't make any moves to walk away from him either. She may not have a choice, after all--aside from stopping someone herself and asking questions. And that, she thinks, should probably be a last resort...
Tsubaki can see him eying her Clairvoyance Diary...so she decides to keep it concealed for now. It may be best to check it in private.]
...A-Another world?
But I don't understand. I've not even heard of 'Vatheon' before today...
[First Deus and now this?
--How?]
no subject
[The comment is in a dry tone.]
I'm from another place too. Apparently the coral here drags people from all over and magically dumps them wet and shivering in the plaza here.
[He pauses for a moment, looking at her again]
We should probably get you some dry clothes. One good thing about this place is everything's free!

oops guess who just bumped into eachother!
She almost drops the SFC but makes a wild grab for it and catches it, and looks to see who it was she bumped into. Yep it's none other than another Future Diary holder! Yuno wasn't very pleased about who it was though, why couldn't it have been Yukki?]
You..!
[1/2] these two will be kawaii best friends
Welp. It's not as if she didn't expect this to happen at some point. She's prone to bumping into people, after all, especially without her followers there to guide her, as she would often have them do when she needed to move about the temple grounds. Tsubaki's just about to apologize, when she turns to see this pink-haired girl, hearing that word.
'You.'
She...knows her?]
[2/2]
...
[—and perhaps she even recognizes her, even if she's not sure how.]
Second?
[Could this possibly be the girl, always seen with Yukiteru-kun? The girl she plotted to kill right alongside him and Fourth, before Akise-kun showed?
...She would have to be careful.]
The most kawaii friends there ever were. If Yuno doesn't snap.
Yeah Sixth, it's me.
How are you here? Your diary was destroyed, you shouldn't be alive anymor--
[She then also noticed that Tsubaki had both hands. How could she? Yuno had cut one of them off during their confrontation, too.]
Your hand...is back too...
no subject
It takes her a moment, but how could she forget? She'd planned their murders elaborately enough, though she supposes she never got to go through with it. Tsubaki eyes her with some suspicion now, her arms folded as she listens to her.
She always knew the girl would be bad news.]
Are you trying to insult me? I think I would remember my diary getting destroyed.
[She then holds up both her hands, flipping them over to look at both sides.]
And if I were to somehow misplace my hands.
[As if that was even possible—
Why is she talking like this? What does she mean, 'it's back', and what does she know...]
no subject
And she sure remembers cutting off that hand just as clearly as the rest of it, even if it was on accident.]
Don't play dumb, I cut your hand off myself. It should be gone, and so should you!
[Well, wait. Yuno shouldn't be too surprised someone who died is back. After all, she herself is sort of proof that this sort of thing can happen isn't she? Perhaps this Tsubaki isn't even the one she knew, but from a parallel world as well...
Yuno figures she should test this.]
Hmm.
What do you remember happening then if that's not what did?

there were quite a few people, but maybe it was because of tsubaki's as-damp-as-him appearance that initially drew his attention toward her— or the fact that she seemed really familiar.
upon closer inspection, he realized that she very well should be a recognizable face for him— he'd investigated her murder, after all. ]
Tsubaki Kasugano?
no subject
But nevertheless, she turns to face him with a smile, because maybe she can't quite help it; and she is actually relieved at the familiar head of white hair.]
Akise-kun. I...
I was not expecting to see you again so soon.
no subject
You've seen me before, Kasugano-san?
[ legitimately curious about her answer—
not to mention he's wondering why she's alive in the first place— if this is really her, of course. not exactly in a position to trust anything at the moment; but regardless of that, he does approach her from where he was initially standing at a distance in observance— at least for a more civil conversation. there's a difference between observing and actually speaking, after all— and he'd chosen to speak. ]
no subject
The man is full of surprises, it seems. She'd not been expecting that kind of reaction either, and when he approaches, she has to resist the urge to back away. Something about his demeanor feels different, too different; and though she can't pinpoint what it is, it alarms her.]
Of course. I—
['I was able to find out what happened to my parents, all because of you...!'
'I caught a glimpse of life outside my temple, all because of you...and I was able to taste true freedom—']
You...don't remember?
no subject
I should think I would remember meeting the figurehead of the Omekata cult.
[ in his timeline, it had already become a radical and dangerous cult— and tsubaki had already lost her parents, as well as her own life. ]

and not putting out bombs no. There was a moment where she thought she saw Tsubaki out of the corner of her eyes, but then just shook her head.Nah, that couldn't be her.
But she stopped after a moment. Well, why wouldn't it be her? Just because she was dead?
Dead people don't come back to life, though, no matter what. But hey, she'll humor herself. So she peeked out from around the corner, and frowned.
It was the Sixth.
She begins to walk over, a mixture of awe and plain out shock on her face as she just. Watches.
Nah, she's got this.]
So they can even send dead people here too, huh, Sixth? [That's 'hello' in Minene language. Or...something like that.] I guess this place is weirder than I thought.
no subject
Heh. That hadn't exactly worked out the way she planned it, but her views on the matter haven't necessarily changed much. She turns to face her, seeing some semblance of an eye-patch, and that blur of dark, dark hair...]
Ninth—
[She blinks once upon hearing those words, letting them sink in for a moment before responding with a very light chuckle.]
Come now, don't be so dramatic. Locking you up is hardly the same as killing you.
[Of course, Tsubaki has no idea what happened to her down there in the temple dungeons; and she didn't really care either.
In fact—she doesn't even seem aware that the terrorist was not referring to herself.]
But tell me, what are you doing here?
[And how? Furthermore, what are they both doing here, in the same strange place? Already Tsubaki is thinking of Deus, wondering if this is somehow his doing...]
no subject
Can you see her now, blind one?]
You may have locked me up but I can tell you I got outta there alive. You, on the other hand...
[She straightens up and looks around again at the other question, huffing slightly.]
Hell if I know. Just showed up here not too long ago myself.
no subject
It's a little alarming when she leans closer, and Tsubaki instinctively leans back at first, trying to keep on her guard...but Minene's words are already starting to throw her off somewhat. It's ridiculous, of course, but she knows how that sentence would've ended; even if she hadn't moved on so quaintly.
She looks far less amused now.]
Where is 'here,' then? And just what do you mean...?
[Her, 'on the other hand'...]
I'm clearly not dead, if that's what you were insinuating.
[She holds out her two hands in front of her--which are both there, by the way--as if to check. And she looks down at the rest of her soaked body as well...
Come again? :|]
