⊙ hey, have you seen the blind girl in disguise—
Who: Tsubaki Kasugano & you
Location: The plaza and that general area.
Time: Mid-day?
Style: Whatever you like.
Status: Open!
I-I’m sorry—
[Tsubaki is wet, and visibly in a huff as she darts away from the stand. Something in between anger and embarrassment displays plain on her face; and it perhaps has to do with the local she can hear, laughing behind her as she goes, clinging to the towel that she’d been given like it was some lifeline. ‘It’ll work better than that shirt you just grabbed,’ he said—how was she supposed to know? She can barely see where she’s going, after all, which…okay, probably makes this whole running away thing a bad idea, but still.
—Heh!
Incidentally, he’d told her it was okay to keep the shirt as well, which was strange. But she didn’t question it at the time. She simply wanted to get to a quiet place to think for now, about exactly where she is and how she got there. Because this isn’t the Sacred Eye temple, is it?
That detective…Akise Aru. Somehow he’d set her free. There are no longer any mysteries tying her to the cult, forcing her to stay; and she was glad that she could repay him, at least in part. But at the same time, she didn’t think she’d be leaving so soon…
So where exactly did she wind up?
She doesn’t know, but she’ll find out. Even if it means maybe asking one of these many voices she’s hearing right now, the blur of faces around her…
Who are they all?]
(( OOC: so basically tl;dr, Tsubaki's kind of embarassed herself in front of a local and is looking for a quiet place to think. she has really poor eyesight so feel free to have your character run into her at any point during all this! ))

Can you see her now, blind one?]
You may have locked me up but I can tell you I got outta there alive. You, on the other hand...
[She straightens up and looks around again at the other question, huffing slightly.]
Hell if I know. Just showed up here not too long ago myself.

It's a little alarming when she leans closer, and Tsubaki instinctively leans back at first, trying to keep on her guard...but Minene's words are already starting to throw her off somewhat. It's ridiculous, of course, but she knows how that sentence would've ended; even if she hadn't moved on so quaintly.
She looks far less amused now.]
Where is 'here,' then? And just what do you mean...?
[Her, 'on the other hand'...]
I'm clearly not dead, if that's what you were insinuating.
[She holds out her two hands in front of her--which are both there, by the way--as if to check. And she looks down at the rest of her soaked body as well...
Come again? :|]
no subject
There, that's a little better. That smirk was wiped off the girls face for now, at least. Well, she would have even more news for her that would suit her far less.]
Vatheon. Don't know anything else other than that.
[Oh, she's laughing now.]
So you don't even remember? You were pretty dead back home!
[Magic. She shouldn't be so surprised, but...she's covering it up with amusement. Because it really is amusing.]
no subject
Or, y'know, Japan.]
Doesn't sound as if you've been here for very long either, then.
And no, I certainly do not. I think I would know if something like that were to happen—so maybe I'm the one who should be laughing, hm?
[She's at least smirking, so there's that. How strange it is to see her like this...]
no subject
Oh well. On to what's going on, she supposes.]
Not long at all. Guess the timing's just right, huh?
[Tch.]
Fine. Don't believe me. But don't say I never told you.
no subject
[You can't exactly blame her for not taking Minene at her word about all that. But either way, at least for now, it seems like they're both in a similar boat.
...She doesn't like it.]
Well, what now? Are we not enemies, even in a place like this?
[Have the rules changed...?]
no subject
[Minene shrugs; she doesn't really care. It was obvious none of this was Deus' doing (that she knew of), and that she wasn't home. And while killing the sixth would be convenient, she's been dead once. She didn't know the rules of this place, after all, minus the fact that she had heard of things being weird.]
Your choice, Sixth. I don't give a free pass every day. [But there's that trademark Minene smirk!] But if you try anything, don't think I'm not unarmed.
no subject
[If that was supposed to scare her, it failed fairly miserably. As if she needed Minene's charity. She simply scowls at her, seeing that grating grin on her face; and then narrows her eyes into glare.]
What 'kid'? Who?
no subject
...Guess you wouldn't know him, would you?
[Why yes, this is her being irritating and dancing around the subject.]
The kid's name is Akise Aru.
no subject
[Heh.
Shows what she knows. Tsubaki's unlikely to forget that name any time soon.
Brush up on your parallel timelinesDo your homework, Minene.]Hmpth. Of course I know him. Though I suppose you were a bit preoccupied at the time.
[...A pause, as she thinks back. Really, she'd just seen him, hadn't she?]
...He is here as well, then.
no subject
But how--]
How do you know him? And what do you mean, I was preoccupied?
[She's not going to answer her next statement, because she had just confirmed it before. Then again, he could have met her, maybe.
Right?
For some reason, this was very confusing.]
no subject
[While you were all tied up. Duh.
She thinks that's rather obvious; and besides, she's the one who should be getting explanations here, not the other way around.]
Admittedly, I was waiting for the First, not him. But it couldn't be helped...
[She can't really complain.
Things turned out pretty well, didn't they...? Until now, that is.]
no subject
Maybe he should ask the kid later.]
Did the First ever come? Because he did.
[Now she's trying to pinpoint what she may or may not remember...obviously not much, since she's dead. But. Yeah.]
no subject
[Because, uh...]
To my knowledge, he certainly did not. And I would have known.
[Her followers, her diary...there's no way she would have missed it.
She'd waited.]
no subject
Too bad. He did come, whether remember it or not.
[Now if whether she believes her or not, that's not exactly her problem.]
no subject
This makes no sense. Why would I have memories of something...someone different...?
no subject
Who knows? Unless you're making this all up.
[And she was completely expecting of Tsubaki throwing the same idea back at her.]
no subject
Of course. You have no reason to trust me, after all. Nor I you.
[That situation hasn't changed, at least, even if it feels like they're at a standstill now, and it's just as easy for her to believe that it's Minene who is lying.]
I suppose trying to convince each other would be futile...
no subject
[Because Tsubaki's stubborn, and Minene is extremely stubborn. They wouldn't go anywhere fast.]
But it'll keep going anyway until one of us gives in.
no subject
[Tsubaki knows she wouldn't. Not to someone like her.]
Best to avoid that kind of petty bickering for now, at least until we've gotten our bearings, hm?
no subject
[Kind of.]
no subject
[Eyeroll. Look at how much she believes you.]
Which is why you look about as lost as I do.
no subject
I'm not lost! I know exactly what I'm doing.
no subject
And just what would that be?
no subject
Why would I tell you? It's not like it's any of your business.
[Totally not planting bombs Just In Case, nope.]
