Who: Shirley and anyone
Where: Near the coral/later near the elevator
When: Late evening, sure.
Style: I will always match, but slight preference for brackets.
Status: Opeeeennn \o/
[There seems to be a red-headed girl near the Coral today; her hair, and her...well, everything soaking wet from the trip down. She's breathing heavily, still recovering from...something, as suggested by the blood on her shirt, but she at least doesn't seem to be in pain anymore--so she is able to walk on her own two feet, her head held high, despite the circumstances.
She doesn't seem at all bothered to be here; with a mere towel around her body (a rather pathetic attempt to hide the blood, until she can get changed), and another for her hair, she walks on, rediscovering the city she once knew.]
...It's like a dream, being here again. This is so hard to believe...
[And then she keeps going until she comes across a rather large elevator, staring at it with awe.]
Ah-- this wasn't here before!

Ah-- this wasn't here before!

Right again, that is definitely a thing she should do. She isn't all that tired, but she feels like she needs it nonetheless. Like after a big session of swimming or something.
...As a result, she isn't too picky about her clothes. She doesn't want to bore him anyway, so she tries to be quick about it and picks a rather plain dress to go with her red hair. She's examining it and holds it to her body, wondering if it will fit.
The clerk, who is watching on with a polite smile, seems to take no notice of the blood on her; or if he has, he hasn't reacted. And for that she finds herself thankful.]

While he was here...
Ah, well. He'll figure something out.]

In fact, she's glad that he even agreed to come with her. This must be pretty boring for him, so she decides to try to pick up the pace a little.
After debating for a minute or so longer in front of the mirror, she finally decides to find a fitting room to try on the dress. It doesn't take more than a few minutes; Lelouch may not have even noticed she was gone, if he was distracted enough.
But either way, she walks up to him, new dress on with her old, bloodied outfit in a bag in her hands.]
Um, this is...better, right?
[She turns around once to show him, her cheeks reddening somewhat. She has always wanted his honest opinion on her appearance, though she knows there's always the chance she'll regret asking.]
no subject
So when she addresses him again he looks up, and looks a little relieved to not see that blood coated shirt on her anymore.]
Yes, that's much better.
[In the respect that it doesn't have a mess all over it.] Then are you ready?
no subject
Yes. We can go now.
[Hmm, although she's not sure where to. She doesn't remember what building she was living in before, and who knows if it was even still there anyway?
There've been a lot of changes in the city; she supposes she'll just have to explore all over again.]
no subject
Would you like to come to my apartment for a little bit? That is, until you know what you're going to do here.
no subject
She doesn't want to sound too eager about it of course, though her eyes already kind of light up at the prospect. What has his life been like here?]
Sure! I'd-- I'd really appreciate that...
Do you think Nunna will be home, too?
no subject
Who knows when that would be, but.]
Maybe. I guess we'll just have to see, won't we? I'm sure she'd be ecstatic to see you as well.
no subject
[In her final moments, she admittedly had been fixed on Lelouch, but-- Nunnally, and Suzaku, her family...these were all people she held near and dear to her. She was sure she'd never see them again, and she's sure no one else expected to either.
She hopes she won't react too strongly...]
Then, let's find out together.
no subject
Lelouch merely nods, beckoning for her to follow before walking off in the direction of the apartment. Whatever happened, Nunnally would most likely be happy to see Shirley again.]
no subject
After all, she always would. And whether Nunna would be there to greet them or not, Shirley would at least be there-- finally able to be by his side.
She couldn't ask for much more.]
