Panic time
Who: Zelda and anyone that comes across her
Where: Hiding throughout Vatheon - less populated places (forest, island, etc)
When: All day after the curse begins!
Style: Either
Status: Open, but Zelda says it's closed. Ignore her.
[Upon figuring out that the little bubble that she couldn't get rid of was displaying her thoughts, Zelda had no choice but to leave the house before Zelos saw. She really didn't have any romantic feelings for him, but she was still a teenager and that kiss was playing on repeat. Even though she doesn't want anyone else to see inside her mind either, at least it wouldn't be ruining the friendship she had with Zelos if they did.
And so the princess is wandering in the least populated parts of Vatheon that she can find, looking very sulky.]

I don't know. I think I need you to do it again. He thinks over those words. Makajamon is like a seal... maybe.]Curses are one type. Some spells drain the strength of the target, or render them incapable of magic.
[A pause.]
Do you require any form of demonstration?
[Otherwise he's going to revert. Better take the chance while it's there!]

[Even though she says it, her thought bubble makes it pretty obvious that she'd like him to lay down on the ground and stay still so she can draw his transformation in her notebook. She seems rather distressed that he knows that, now.]
no subject
He shakes his head.]
It's no trouble.
[The transformation doesn't drain him in any way; Serph can move freely between human and demon. He just prefers his human form; being transformed when interacting with others can easily be taken as an act of aggression, after all.
And he'd... really rather not lie down in this form. His bubble reflects the time he'd been sent sprawling by another demon and being prone doesn't seem much more comfortable. He tries to imagine sitting on the forest floor with Varna and... well his bubble seems to have a hard time picturing it, too.]
I can stay still for you.

[She knows that she can't conceal her thoughts about it, though, and so she takes out her notebook to do a quick sketch, circling around him. It really does seem to be efficient for battle, but she can see where it might be a little odd to stay in that form casually.]

Stand back, when you're done.
[Because he will give Zelda a demonstration of how those blades work with his right arm, since she's so interested in this form. When he does so, his right arm splits open at the arm slits, the blade unfolding and flicking out into his hand within a split second.]

Thank you, Serph.
[For the distraction. She truly appreciates that he allowed her to focus on something like this instead of her losses. He didn't probe her about them, and for that she finds herself thinking of him fondly.]
no subject
He gives Zelda a small nod in acceptance of her thanks. Flicking the blade back within his arm with an audible sound, Serph reverses the transformation process, reverting back to his human form. His tattoo glows blue before fading to its usual solid black.]
May I see your drawings?
[He's curious! Art isn't a thing in his world, after all.]
no subject
[She moves over near him, flipping her notebook to the first sketch. It looks like a drawing from an anatomical book, with no real style or artistic value but a lot of technical detail. Serph would easily be able to recognize it as his demon form. The speculation on his musculature in her notes compares him to a Zora.]
no subject
He tilts his head when he reads the comparison, though.]
What is a Zora?
no subject
[She thinks of a Zora, gesturing with her head for Serph to look at her thoughts.]
Some are even capable of using those fins on their forearms in battle.
no subject
Thank you for sharing some of your world with me. I would like to learn more of it, when you have control over what you wish for me to know.

[She tucks the book under her arm and waves politely.]

Another time, then.
[And with that, he'll leave Zelda to be alone with her thoughts.]
