Panic time
Who: Zelda and anyone that comes across her
Where: Hiding throughout Vatheon - less populated places (forest, island, etc)
When: All day after the curse begins!
Style: Either
Status: Open, but Zelda says it's closed. Ignore her.
[Upon figuring out that the little bubble that she couldn't get rid of was displaying her thoughts, Zelda had no choice but to leave the house before Zelos saw. She really didn't have any romantic feelings for him, but she was still a teenager and that kiss was playing on repeat. Even though she doesn't want anyone else to see inside her mind either, at least it wouldn't be ruining the friendship she had with Zelos if they did.
And so the princess is wandering in the least populated parts of Vatheon that she can find, looking very sulky.]

[He nods.]
I'm meeting someone a couple of times a week to train a little, and I met someone else who tried to help me with meditation.
[The names flash through his bubble - Serph, Trunks, as does the word, hope, because Shizuo hopes that this can lead to a more permanent solution of control. Then he thinks about Vegeta, who called him human and left the last time they fought.]

[In Zelda's memory, it seems like Sheik is playing the harp and singing with Serph. Judging from the X near Serph's mouth, his voice was not particularly good.]
A bit strange, though. He was able to smell that Sheik and I are essentially the same person.
no subject
[Shizuo smiles at that image. He hasn't heard Serph sing before, but he figures that he isn't as good at that as he is at fighting.]
That is strange. [Though Shizuo supposes it makes sense. His mind flashes the words demon and transformation, though he doesn't say those things.]
He's pretty strong. [His mind bubble says, Not as strong, but strong enough.]
no subject
I-I see. He did appear to be a warrior of some sort when he first arrived in Vatheon, so him being able to fight isn't too much of a surprise.
[She's thinking of Vegeta now, wondering what exactly happened to Shizuo fighting with him. Honestly, she's glad - she doesn't like the man.]
no subject
He's a really good guy. Don't - worry. Or anything. He's helping me a lot. He isn't like Vegeta.
[He says that last part when he notices her thought bubble. He, too, begins to think of Vegeta, and the words that grace his bubble are: Vegeta, human, angry, and then a subdued, Trunks, though Shizuo tries really hard to think of something else. It isn't his business or Zelda's business what they have to do with each other.]
Vegeta...decided that I'm human, so I don't think he wants anything to do with me anymore.
[And it is a good thing, his bubble explains, because that means everyone he loves is safe. But...He was the first person who believed in my control, the thought bubble reports. Vegeta was the first person to actually make Shizuo feel like he could achieve it, so even if it is safer this way...well. Shizuo regrets that it had to end, in an odd way.]
bb, Vegeta will still be sort of friends with you, really
It might be for the best. He is extremely violent, after all.
[She remembers Sola coming to her with his arm practically torn off. It's a vivid image. If she'd seen what Vegeta did to Shizuo on the island, she'd be out to get him.]
Shizuo says yay ;-;
[Stupid bubble - and that is what his thoughts broadcast, a few times over.]
I know you weren't afraid of me. That's how we became friends. It's just that he was the first person who ever tried to train me. No one ever tried that, before.
[He really isn't trying to make Zelda feel bad - his bubble reports that she is his family, and it is because she wasn't afraid of him and could see him for who he was that they were able to get to that point.
That image of Sola, though, is rough. And Shizuo knows that Vegeta has a temper. His bubble changes to reflect the words, broken bones, but luckily they don't elaborate. He doesn't want Zelda to get upset.
But Shizuo has come to the conclusion that there's more to Vegeta than just violence. Just as there is more to him than just violence.]
no subject
I know. And I am not exactly capable of training you.
[An image of fighting as Sheik. He's nimble, but one good hit from Shizuo and he would be toast.]
If this turn of events disappoints you, though... perhaps you should talk to him? He was looking for training partners over the network not too long ago.
[Why yes, she DOES keep an eye on absolutely everything.]
no subject
...
He thinks of Vegeta again.]
I don't know. I saw that, but. I'm not a match for him, and we both know it. It's probably better if I leave him to fight with people who can handle him.
[He gives Zelda a smile, though, because even if he managed to get a little glimpse of her darkness, he doesn't doubt her kindness. Even now, she's offering advice - about someone she clearly does not like.]
no subject
Surely he can't be that much out of your depth? Even if he is, practicing fighting moves does not require the two partners to be of equal strength.
[Impa was far stronger than her, but they had safely trained. A memory of that appears, tinged with hazy hints of nostalgia that make the whole scene appear to be glowing.]
no subject
He nods. Maybe. He isn't going to pursue Vegeta, but if they happen upon each other in the future, maybe he'll see about talking to him.]
He is pretty strong. But maybe.
[At the image of Zelda training, he smiles. He remembers being told about Impa and his thought bubble reflects that.]
no subject
[She openly thinks of the Sheikah. Perhaps the memories are a little exaggerated, perhaps not - but it looks like Impa is capable of some amazing feats, including lifting a rock that's practically the same size as she is over her head with one hand. Zelda doesn't know that she had a Goron bracelet at the time, she was just gaping up at her in the memory.]
no subject
I think so too.
[This conversation makes him think of Izaya, telling him that he would have liked his mother. It surfaces a lot within his bubble: Izaya, mom, jacket, acceptance and then a sentence of, I wonder if she'd really like me. It reminds him, too, of that picture that Izaya told him he could look at.
And soon he's thinking of his own mother.]
no subject
It's a little selfish perhaps, but I keep hoping that she turns up here. She has passed on in my world, but it's still possible to see her in Vatheon.
no subject
I don't think that's selfish. It would give you and her another chance. I bet she would like that, too.
[He imagines any parent would.]
no subject
[Zelda never relaxes here for more than a day at a time, her thoughts always turn to home eventually - like they do now.]
What I wouldn't give to understand this place...
no subject
[Shizuo doesn't know what else to say, and his bubble turns clear in his indecision - but that makes him think of something.]
Hey. What does your bubble do when you don't think of much - or maybe if you try to distract it? Izaya's turns black. Mine goes clear. Like...that.
His pleased face in that icon, so cute.
Interesting! I wonder what the differences mean? You'd think that everyone would simply have a clear bubble if they were thinking of nothing.
That's his, hey! I have an idea :D face
Yours is really...nice.
[His bubble reports the adjective pretty.]
I wonder what others are like.
no subject
[Her bubble can't stay clear for long, it's already imagining all sorts of people and their possible bubbles.]
...I don't think I will be seeking many people out to check, though. This curse is a terrible invasion of privacy.
no subject
[Shizuo could agree with that. He isn't too keen on his thoughts being exposed either. But at the same time, his thoughts weren't that revealing...Spending time with Izaya had been difficult, but not unmanageable. Maybe he'd look around a little.]
I might walk around a little...I'll let you know if I see any strange bubbles.
no subject
[She raises her hand in a wave. Zelda is absolutely NOT going to go out where there might be a lot of people.]
Oh, and Shizuo... once this curse is over, we should definitely have cake nights.
no subject
[He may look and sound a little impassive, but his bubble makes it clear that he is very happy about that - glad to be in Zelda's life again, and glad to be included in that activity.
He waves and as he walks away it reports that he has missed her - a lot.]
