[Zelos was out for the day, and Zelda had grown very used to his company in the week since Sola came back. Kind of disturbingly used to it, really. She decides to head out herself to do a little shopping and then go to the library. It seems like she has something on her mind, but when doesn't she?]

[ Libraries are a good haunt.

It doesn't help that Duke can walk really really quietly, and he's pale and white haired and red eyed, so maybe "haunt" is a very awkwardly appropriate word.

Don't mind him blinking once in recognition, then heading over to take a look at book titles. ]

[Zelda is extremely into her book, so her ability to notice things around her is dulled significantly. When she looks up and sees Duke suddenly there, she drops what she was holding with a comical look of surprise. How had he been that quiet?!]

Oh! Ah, I'm sorry...

[The princess tries to pick her book back up quickly, hoping she didn't damage it.]

[ He's just that high level of a ranger. When Zelda drops her book, Duke half twitches to catch it. Books are good!

Ah, she had it. ]

Not intention to startle.

[Damn rangers. Her ears relax back into their normal position and she offers him a smile as she stands.]

No, I didn't think that you meant to. I should have moved away from the shelf while reading, anyway. I'm sure I am in the way. Are you looking for any book in particular?

[Zelda steps back from the shelf so that he can see all the titles.]

[Flap flap flap, look who's flying around the Nostalgia Nook and serenading unsuspecting residents! Butterfly is immediately attracted to Zelda and her long golden hair, and flutters over, landing in her thick tresses like a living barette.]

[Zelda looks around, not able to feel the butterfly in her hair. All she knows is that someone is singing a vaguely creepy song to her from VERY nearby and she can't see who.]

Who's there?!

[Technically, the most important part of that song was the golden hair bit; it consistently amazes Butterfly that people don't automatically know which part of his songs to focus on! He starts crawling up towards the top of her head, fanning his wings back and forth lazily.]

[Hello pretty lady!

In front of the library was this guy with an arm full of tulips. He held one out to her, and gave a smile.]

You seem like you might need it.

[What? Why is this guy giving her flowers?! He doesn't seem to be a threat, though... She takes the tulip, looking shy.]

Thank you, sir. It is a lovely flower.

You should smile. [He gave a firm nod.]

[Normally, Guy wouldn't bother someone while they were reading. Especially not a woman. But he had been meaning to respond to Zelda's voicemail this evening, and talking to her in person was an opportunity he'd like to take advantage of while he had it.

He couldn't help but quietly make his way up to her chair, keeping his own small stack of books tightly tucked under one arm. Even with her attention completely drawn to the book in her lap, she seemed... distracted, in a sense. Odd.]

Call me curious, but I don't think I've ever seen someone so focused on a story before.

[Since he spoke to her and didn't approach with quite the amount of ninjaing that Duke did, she only looks mildly surprised when she glances up to see Guy.]

Hello, Guy.

[The princess smiles sheepishly.]

It is not a story. It's a book on telepathy! Hylians are supposedly capable of it, and I wish to learn to utilize the ability.

[She tilts her head at him, almost offering the chair right next to her before remembering his... condition. Instead, she gestures towards his books.]

May I ask what you're reading?

Ah, this? [He hefts the books up slightly so that Zelda can see the titles lining up along the spines - all are variously-sized titles on electrical work, mechanics, or engineering.] It's all mostly on properties of electricity and the science behind its more advanced properties. It's not something that's common from where I'm from, and it comes up quite often around here. I've been figuring out the basics for now - it might come in handy.

[Tech moment aside, his curiosity is piqued at her own book.] What do you plan to use telepathy for, if you don't mind my asking? You seem clever - I'm sure you can learn it in no time. But you don't quite come across as the type to sneak around in other people's minds.

[Shinra's white coat is just barely visible within a small fort of books in a corner of the library. Getting information on the Great Lamufao has turned out to be far more involved than he'd expected.

He slams a weighty encyclopedia shut with a sigh and leans back on the legs of his chair, catching sight of a familiar blonde head across the room. His voice echoes a bit too loudly as he waves.]

Hey, Zelda!

[Shinra this is a LIBRARY keep your voice down. Zelda heads over to tell him exactly that, looking mildly annoyed.]

You should really be more quiet in here, you know.

[Whoops. He drops onto all four legs of his chair and pushes it back to meet Zelda with a grin.]

Somebody once said, "A little talk goes a long way." A nice, loud chat to overhear might be just what these people need.

Denzel is sitting in the library with a massive pile of books, he's taking notes and mumbling to himself. In fact you may not even see Crocker with the massive stack of books he's behind but you definitely hear insanity mumbling.

Zelda is not one to interrupt someone's studying (that's a special time, you know!), but the crazed edge to his mumbling is... worrisome. She peers behind the stack of books.

"Hello?"

Denzel flips out everywhere and falls to the floor with some of the books, "OW!"

[Nasuti spotted a familiar golden-tressed woman weave through the aisles of bookshelves in the eerily silent library.

It was pleasant to see Zelda someplace other than her home--especially since she knew she favored the familiarity of her own residence. It was hopefully a good sign that things were looking up on her end.]

[Zelda smiles and shakes her head no.]

Just a little entertainment. Oh, and I'm returning this.

[She holds out a book on time travel.]

Hahaha! I'm getting married Saturday, so no, not yet!

[Nasuti's eyes grow inquisitive at the subject of the book Zelda held.]

Time travel, huh? Mere curiosity, or is there purpose behind your research?

[ Anri had been wandering around the city for quite some time. The marvel that was underwater civilization hadn't quite worn off on her yet, however, and she seemed to have been looking to the water's surface while she went. It was only natural that she might bump into someone. ]

O-oh- I-I'm so sorry...! [ She scrambled to apologize to the girl with... long, pointy ears...? ]

[Those ears of Zelda's point down defensively when she's bumped into on her way back from dropping off butterfly at the park.]

Oh! No, it's quite alright. Are you aren't hurt, are you?

[ And of course Anri takes notice of her ears. Of course, it's no stranger than having no head, or being able to pull a sword out of your own skin... In fact, it's probably strange in a much more mundane way. Anri accepts this and doesn't even ask. ]
