Characters: Orihara Izaya and the world of Vatheon
Location: Most likely in the Plaza, but anywhere really.
Time: Monday evening
Style: Action or prose.
Status: Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide open
[This might be considered a warning sign for mental instability but if anyone actually knew Izaya, it wouldn't be that shocking. It's still a pretty interesting sight regardless.
Izaya is pacing back and forth. Between one street lamp and to the next. He's walking in a quick, even line back and forth, back and forth. He stops at each street lamp and occasionally pulls out his starfish communicator but only to put it back away and continue pacing. If anyone had been watching for a while now, they might've known that he's been doing this for a good twenty or maybe even thirty minutes.
He's muttering to himself too. Even better. Oh but the slightly worse part is the flick blade he continuously snaps open and shut in his other hand- of which is clicking loudly over his ramblings. He doesn't look upset. Actually, he looks kinda of energetic and excited.
Go and interrupt his thinking time?]

He didn't like to think about the last time they met. He wasn't a fan of appearing weak to strangers.]
Hello, hello. Do I now? I was just thinking about life is all. Philosophy and boring things like that.
[A cheery smile and what have you. You bet he's much more energized this time around.]
I was in a coma for two weeks. I feel pretty left behind so I'm just catching up. I could've done this at home but I'm feeling a little restless from my sleep, see.
And how are you?
no subject
Excellent, actually. [ to answer his question, giving him an equal smile. he's still more interested in discussing "nakura" than himself, however— ]
Oh? Was it related or unrelated to your physical state before?
no subject
Oh that's wonderful to hear.
[At the question, Izaya doesn't feel that vulnerable to answer it honestly.]
I'm not entirely sure. That was an odd coincidence but I'm used to all sorts of odd "coincidences" lately. It's almost making me believe in a God but that's just insanity speaking. I did feel unusually exhausted that day and by the time I got home...Tch. I have a feeling that maybe the coma resulted in that exhaust rather than the exhaust resulted in the coma.
[He taps his chin. Yeah. That made sense.]

[ he leans against his cane as he asks, keen interest apparent by both his expression and posture. from what been said, he gathers mister "nakura" doesn't believe in god— good. ...but what otherwise catches his attention would be that psychological quip— ]
Are you mad, Mister Nakura?
I forgot if Break told him his name or not....vatevar
It's a leisure thing. I just do it for fun.
[Izaya looks surprised at the question but then horribly amused.]
Mad? No, I'm pretty happy.
[Have a smirk, Break.]
And if you're asking me if I'm insane? Then I don't know~. The clinically insane aren't supposed to know that they're insane, isn't that how it goes? So maybe I am, maybe I'm not. Who's to say? I've been told I have the standard traits for a sociopath but I don't know if that's what people would consider as 'insane'. That's just a personality type.
Are you mad, Break?
[It wasn't hard to find out who you are. This is Orihara Izaya after all.]
he did not but d(-_^)☆
[ there's a moment of silence as he eases up on his cane and begins to dig through his coat's sleeve. ]
Wonderful, wonderful— I appreciate a man who can throw away his emotions and focus on the pleasantries!
[ he removes a piece of wrapped candy from his sleeve, but pauses at izaya's words. ]
Hm? Well there's no way to determine, of course, I simply wanted your opinion about yourself in regards to such a thing! [ a nonchalant wave of the hand as if to dismiss it. he's already unwrapped the candy and is about to pop it into his mouth, except izaya's question stops him short— ]
Oh? Have I ever given a reason to make you believe otherwise? Regardless of the answer, I don't believe I'm crazy enough to have forgotten giving you my name, Mister Nakura.
[ crunch! ]
