Princess Selphie! Hip Hip Hooray!~

In the plaza, there is a small group of locals clustered around someone sitting in a chair. Surrounding the chair, on a table, are vases full of flowers, plates full of cakes and a couple of small trinket gifts. Once one of the locals rushes away to go fetch something, Selphie is visible on that chair. She's smiling at the locals who are painting her nails a bright pink colour, and she giggles as another lifts a milkshake with a straw to her lips. On her head is a big, bright, shiny tiara. It had been too nice to ignore and, to be honest, she hasn't tried to take it off. Why would she?

One of the most self-less, generous young women you'll ever meet, taking advantage of everything she can get. She's having a great time getting everything done for her, having everything she wants. And all seems to be going well until...

"You! You missed a spot! You've ruined my whole manicure! Fix it! Now! Or else..."

Who knows what that threat might have been, but she sits up in her chair, smirking to herself as the local apologises and hurries to correct the terrible error.

[... This is all still rather strange, and so he pauses for a moment, before slowly walking over to her.]

*Selphie grins and pats the comfortable-looking chair next to her in invitation*

Of course! You should join in! There's strawberries too. You can be my knight in shining armour!

[Rather than take the chair, he stares incredulously.]

Your... ah, what?

[booyaka_boom]

My knight! Come on! It'll be fun!

*Selphie smiles with her eyes closed, oh-so content, still patting the chair next to her*

For now, your duties are to be comfortable, and to eat some delicious cake.

[... He's used to playing pretend with children, but nothing quite like this.]

Well, I suppose that sounds simple enough...

[Though he doesn't make a move towards the chair.]

So you're affected by this curse, then.

[booyaka_boom]

*Used to playing pretend with children? Selphie would just about have a heart attack if she heard that*

It is! It's an easy duty, for now!~

*She winks at him, still patting that chair - her hand is going to hurt soon*

What curse?

... Ah, no, nothing.

[He's still a little unsure about all of this, but he takes a seat.]

Well?

[booyaka_boom]

Okay! Good!~

*If you say it's nothing, Selphie is totally going to believe you, Tiir. She smiles and nods towards the local*

Well, what kind of tea would you like? Or do you prefer coffee? And, of course, you can have your choice of whichever cake that you like. My right-hand man, you see?

I prefer tea, thank you. Green tea, I suppose?

[He lets out a light laugh. This is all still very strange, but it seems like it'll be amusing, at least.]

Oh? I'm honoured.

[booyaka_boom]

*The locals busy about getting green tea for him, and almost seem to be quite happy to do so. Even stranger, though, is hearing Tiir laugh. Forgive the princess if she just stares for a moment or two. Then she remembers herself and smiles widely*

Good! It is a great honour! Maybe we should get you some kind of hat, just so everyone knows you are a knight!

[He smiles sheepishly, shaking his head.]

Ah, no, I'll pass on that. It's fine already if we know that I'm a knight, isn't it?

[booyaka_boom]

*Selphie pouts for a moment - because when she's wearing the tiara that seems to help her get her own way. But if it doesn't work, she'll just smile*

Well, okay. If you're sure. But I bet we could find you a very nice hat.

[He laughs politely.]

I'm afraid I'm not much of a hat sort of person. You seem to be enjoying yours, though.

[booyaka_boom]

Oh...

*Selphie just blinks at him for a moment or two*

I really think you'd suit one! Mine is great fun!~

*She turns then to the locals, waving at them to hurry up with Tiir's green tea*

*Princess Selphie? That only made her giggle and blush*
