[It's strange, how someone who appreciates honesty wouldn't appreciate a curse that made one honest—but even Tiir has his white lies, his claims of being okay even when he isn't really. And so, the recent curse doesn't sit too well with him, as he's not too thrilled at being unable to filter his words.

... Especially with what's happened in his world. Although it's been well over a month since his return to Vatheon, the reminder that he'll go back to the same time in his world means that the events that occurred always remain recent to him. It's a lot to think about, though Tiir isn't sure how much of it he wants to reflect over, as it might result in certain sentiments he doesn't want.

Normally, in a pensive mood like this where he just wants to shut his mind down—and, to an extent, does so—he'd go to the forest, but today... Today, for a moment, the memory of Minato goes through his mind, and so for whatever reason, he feels compelled to go to the park instead.

Thus, there he is, sitting by the pond—and throwing bread crumbs in the direction of the ducks, as he watches them feed.

[Kurloz nods, sympathetically. He hasn't lost the one person here he cares most about, but he's watched Mituna lose important people.

Then he starts into another bit of miming. First he crosses his fingers. middle finger over index. Then he makes a little flipping gesture with one hand, and ends using both hands to make a heart. The question, essentually, is whether Tiir was close to the people he lost as a friend, or whether it was romantic.]

[Unfortunately, Tiir doesn't understand that particular gestures, as he stares blankly.]

... I'm sorry, but could you, ah, redo that?

[He frowns, but nods, as he works out another way to explain it. The best way is probably to simplify it, so he just points at Tiir, then makes a heart with his hands again, then a little questioning tilt of his head.]

... Ah? Are you asking if I loved the person?

[He smiles for a moment- he got it!- and nods.]

[He laughs.]

You could say that I do. Not romantically, though. They're...

[And he thinks of what he never got the chance to tell Minato, and what Ene knew but no longer remembers—]

They're my family. So I love them in that way.

[Human relationships work in weird ways, as far as Kurloz is concerned, but he knows that family is not just a custodian, and that it's a close bond. He nods again, and pats Tiir on the shoulder.]

[He shrugs.]

Well, I suppose it doesn't matter in the end. What's been done can't be undone...

[Most of the responses Kurloz has to that wouldn't be expressed well through simple gestures, so instead he just shrugs. The past is that way, for most people, but what about the future?]
