What: Duke's actually out of the house! ... and in the library.

[ So he'd been worrying people by not leaving the house, and since he didn't have a purpose in leaving the house daily - albeit one that he'd been ignoring recently - Duke is out and about today.

Mostly to the library. Even if he had been reading at .. home, and he would just be reading at the library, clearly the change in location was going to mean something.

At least, that was his plan. Hopefully actually going out and about helps lighten worries.

... Even if he casually skirts the hostclub just for reactions. ]

[ Oh, Guy hadn't seen. Duke pretends he forgot about that already- ]

Did join because Zelos, and original reason for not being particularly interested in returning was lack of surety if ought to.

Call it excuse making, but... not particularly good at being social. Seemed... useless, being there.

[ And he'd been using it as routine to get out of the house, really. ]

[He visibly relaxes, leaning a shoulder against the bookcase with his arms crossed, brows raised.]

You're not the only one who was roped in just because of Zelos and his shenanigans, you know. It's okay.

Just got used to seeing you around, that's all. And no one really heard from you when you just suddenly left. Or, well... the rest of us on the floor didn't.

[Do you hear how much he does not believe you, Duke? With the talk of having Zelos talk him into it and him being far more content in here... there had to be a reason.]

... Had been making another there worry. Angelo did not seem pleased with troubles between club members.

[ And Duke had been grumpy and might have been a bit of an ass back. ]

I doubt he asked you to leave, though... did he?

[Angelo was taking this whole vice-president thing pretty seriously and all. To lose a host for his club... yeah, Guy could easily see it becoming a big deal.]

... I may have implied a lack of interest in returning as well as a lack of intent to bring trouble into the club, which resulted in something close.

[ So Duke vague'd that he might be quitting, and it escalated to 'Don't come back' from Angelo ]

But okay. I guess that explains Angelo's mood lately.

[Getting used to the new co-boss wasn't exactly easy. He sighs, running a hand through his hair.]

You gonna be all right, right here?

[ Duke gives a pale imitation of a shrug. ]

... Baring someone pushing shelving over, very likely.

[He holds back a chuckle, turning to leave.]

Let's hope no one goes making mischief in here too soon, then, huh?

...Keep out of trouble, Duke. And hey, even if you're not part of the club anymore, let us know if you need anything.

[And with that easy grin still holding, he leaves the albino behind. This wasn't the place or time to ask him about what had happened while Guy himself had been unconscious. Frankly, it wasn't his place to ask, if not for the concern of Zelda.

But the guy was in one piece for right now. Hounded by Angelo or not, he just wanted space, and there was no reason to deny it from him if he'd been asked to leave the club.

So Guy could at least give him that much.]
