What: Duke's actually out of the house! ... and in the library.

[ So he'd been worrying people by not leaving the house, and since he didn't have a purpose in leaving the house daily - albeit one that he'd been ignoring recently - Duke is out and about today.

Mostly to the library. Even if he had been reading at .. home, and he would just be reading at the library, clearly the change in location was going to mean something.

At least, that was his plan. Hopefully actually going out and about helps lighten worries.

... Even if he casually skirts the hostclub just for reactions. ]

[ Duke studies her for a moment, then nods slowly. He ends up settling with his chin on crossed arms, nudging his book out of the way. ]

The feeling of being friends with someone? Or being loved?

It depends, Duke... If you are loved back or not... It can be the most wonderful feeling or it can be very painful...

The wanting feeling is painful... It makes you feel empty if it is not fulfilled. I cannot lie to you about that...

[ He's pretty sure most of it is that he misses his friend, but...

He's staying with his head and arms on the table. That could explain a great deal of things. ]

But being loved by someone, and I do not mean only romantic love, is a beautiful feeling.

[She remembers what is to be loved by her sister, her nephew and her husband.]

[ That, at least, he can agree with. The feeling from being around and with Elucifur generally made him ache from missing it. ]
