New arrivals weren't an uncommon sight in Vatheon. Neither were soaking wet, unconscious new arrivals. But wet, asleep new arrivals? That might be a little more odd.

And that was what was on the floor of the plaza. A soaking wet half demon sprawled out under an equally soaking wet comforter, fluffy-tipped tail curled over his chest, mouth open as he snores.

He has no idea that he's no longer in his bed at the True Cross Academy dormitory.

Dare you wake him?

Well this was a new sight for as little a time he'd been here. He hadn't heard of anyone sleeping through being dragged to this place. He stared at the snoring...thing. Was it a Saiyin too, like that Vegeta guy he met? He didn't have that kind of tail though...or pointy ears. Maybe he was an alien. This place could use more space travelers. So he'll pull out his wrench and give Rin's chest a poke or two.

Rin groaned, but didn't wake enough to actually see who was prodding at him. He swatted at the wrench and mumbled something under his breath.

"Mn... five more minutes, Yukio..."

More pokes followed by a voice that definitely not Yukio's.

"Don't know who Yukio is but you need to wake up, now."

"Ehhn.. ?"

Rin slowly opened his eyes, blinking a few times and staring at Ratchet. He didn't move, but the look on his face was obviously one of shock.

[Omigosh this guy is sleeping and he just arrived! What if he's in one of those comas like Guy and Izaya? He doesn't even know anyone yet, no one will take care of him! Ion rushes over with towels, pulling the comforter to the side and starting to dry the man.]

I hope he's okay...

[Well he's not in a coma, but he's not waking up either. Rin is just that heavy of a sleeper. He rolls over with a mumble.]

Mn... lemmie alone, Yukio...

[fonmaster]

Oh... are you okay? Hey, you need to get up, you'll get sick if you stay in those wet clothes.

[Ion knows all about getting sick. He does it all the time!]

Chie crouched down next to the kid's body. How could he still be sleeping? Leaving him on the ground wasn't going to do him any good, especially when he was drenched with water. She decided to try and wake the poor boy.

"Hey, are you okay? You really shouldn't stay sleeping right here! Especially with your clothes all wet, that can't be good for you."

"Ehn... g'way, five more minutes..." was the only response Chie would get, along with a groan as he rolled over.

He was one of those persistent sleepers, it seemed. Time to try a bit harder.
Chie shook his shoulder a bit after he rolled over.

"Come on, get up. Sleeping on the ground isn't exactly a good idea no matter how tired you are."

When Ruca saw the person lying on the ground, soaking wet, he rushed to his side frowning.

"H-hey... A-are you alright?" his voice was full of worry.

And Ruca would get a very interesting response. A black tail smacking his hand away along with an incoherent grumble.

Ruca backed away quickly. He didn't except such a reaction!

But then, he couldn't just leave this person here! What if he caught a cold or something? Ruca frowned and tried calling to the other from a (hopefully) safe distance.

"H-hey! ...Please wake up!"

Well, sleeping outside was never good for a person's health. Madoka had heard this time and time again from her mother in life so waking him up would be for the best, right? So have one pink haired girl trying to do just that?

"Um, excuse me... ?"

Unfortunately Rin is known as a fairly heavy sleeper, and her quiet voice wasn't going to be enough to rouse him.

She's welcome to keep trying, though.

Well, it's not like she can just leave him out here so continuing to try and wake him she will!

"Um..." She begins, before raising her voice slightly. "Ex-excuse me!"

Seeing a new arrival asleep, Amane made her way over to him with some towels. As a member of the Welcoming Committee, being prepared for cases was normal.

Crouching down, she shook him by the shoulder, gently.

"Mn..."

Rin only let out a quiet whine at the shaking, rolling over on his side and curling up tight. He didn't seem to be eager to wake up at all.

"Excuse me, please wake up." A girl's voice spoke, shaking him a little more. "We don't want you to catch a cold."

[Yeah, just a little more odd was a good way of putting it. She couldn't help but wonder just how heavy of a sleeper he was if he was still snoozing away like this. To be honest, she had reached out to pinch his nose, thinking that would wake him up real quick, but she changed her mind at the last second.

Instead she shook his shoulder and pinched his cheeks. Because that was clearly a better option.]

Hey, rise and shine! You're going to catch your death if you stay like that!

[Pretty heavy, all things considered.

But That does get his attention and he wakes up with a jerk and a flail, yelling noisily]

Whoa! [And that was all it took to catch her off guard and make her fall back on her behind.]

Ow ow... Watch it, you nearly hit me!

[There's... a guy. Sleeping in the plaza. Right in Sola's path as he tries to deliver some boxes across town, too. Ugh, this place is annoying sometimes.]

Hey! You're totally in the way!

[Sola lets out a huff and attempts to nudge Rin out of his path with the toe of his boot.]

Nnng... Yukio, stop kicking me. I'll get up soon...

[Sorry, Sola. Try harder.]

[Damnit these boxes are heavy! Especially with a recently healed arm. He really needs to get where he's going so he can put them down.

Carefully, Sola places the sole of his boot against Rin's back and pushes, hoping to roll him out of the way.]
