[This month, there's a sign in the plaza indicating that the welcoming party has moved to the park to celebrate spring!

The food table is present as always, though the selection seems a little healthier than usual. No sweets are available for once - instead the Station Master will cheerfully invite anyone who comes by for a bite to eat or a nice drink to take part in the spring clam hunt! Scattered throughout the park are brightly colored clams, painted like easter eggs tend to be. Some of them are obvious, others are more well hidden. Others? Well, a few of the residents got a little over-enthusiastic. They sure do get excited about this stuff.

What's inside? Well, it depends! In most of the calms are various candies (not fish flavored this time, the clam theme seems to have satisfied the locals), but some of the clams are a little different. It might be time to celebrate spring, but it's also April 1st! When some of the clams are opened, characters might find that paper eels spring out at their faces, or that they're squirted with brightly colored ink, or even that the clam makes various noises. There are even a couple clams that are entirely empty and make a very mature raspberry sound when opened.

As always, the Welcoming Committee and Host Club have had booths set up for them as well. Have a question about the city? Want to talk to someone who doesn't have fish puns on the brain? Need a little companionship? Both are good places to check out. At the Welcoming Committee, just in case anyone was suspicous of the Zora Tunics that appeared Sunday night, Zelda's handing out a couple more and explaining those. The Host Club is under new management, but it seems like they've managed to pull things together regardless.

"Both, actually." Damn, this guy is good. "I wanna sign me and a friend up. He needs some social interaction practice."

"Sounds like one of the reasons I'm glad a friend of mine's involved with it." The grin's there, and maaaaybe there's a little bit too much amusement with it, but that's really to be expected, isn't it? But really, this kid seems pretty sociable already and Peony's only spoken with him for less than a minute! Being up front and asking was really the tell, there, so those are the only two possibilities that come to mind. "You can't let the recluses go without at least a little bit of social interaction. He can hang back at the bar with Jade and Guy, if he's not comfortable with the sitting around and talking part of things."

"Oh, so he wouldn't have to sit and talk all the time? Well then, that might convince him more." And to be fair, Zack knew Cloud would need breaks now and then. So that would be a way to entice him. "Count us in then. How do we sign up?"

"Yep, he can help out with the bar and waiter things if he likes, too. Little modifications to his appointment schedule, blocking things out for him to do less socially engaging things. Waiting, he'd need to talk to the guys more involved in that circle for the club, but I'd be happy to give him briefer blocks." Peony just slips a bit of paper across to Zack and passes him a pen. "And you sign up just like this."

"That sounds up his alley. And he lived in a bar for a couple years so I'm sure he has some experience." Honestly, he has no idea if Cloud does but hey, it couldn't hurt, right?

He takes the pen, chuckling as he signs up as told. "Should I make two, one for me and one for my friend? Although his would probably be something like this."

"Sounds like a good bet." Peony grins, settling back in his seat. "And so long as it's got his name and where he's living on there, it'll be plenty~"

And that's about how Jade's would've looked. Just with glasses, if it'd been Peony signing him up.

Oh, he knows where he's living. And he never lets him off for it, because it's such good teasing material. "No worries there. I got all the info," he says as he jots his and Cloud's information down.

"Then you're both good to go." Peony pulls a map of Vatheon out and points to the location of the club on it. "We're just right here, so it's easy to get to."

"Thanks. We'll both be there soon. If I can convince him to come." Which is much, much easier said than done when it comes to Cloud.
