Who: Chie Satonaka and everybody else ever

There was a girl standing in the plaza examining her wet track jacket, making an annoyed grumble. This was just a great to wake up, wasn't it? She unzipped her jacket and fanned it out a bit to shake some of the water off of it, not that it really helped dry the rest of her, but at least if she didn't have that on Chie figured her body would dry quicker. After her jacket seemed to be less wet than before (although not by much), she tied it around her waist.

Securly tied, she looked up to see who would have dumped water on her, only realize she didn't even have the slightest idea where this was to begin with.

"W..where exactly am I? This isn't Inaba at all!"

How did she get here? Where even was here?! She appeared to be in some city that was underwater, from the look of things. The only conclusion Chie could come to was this was some strange world inside the television, but it didn't make sense to be back in here when the murders were all done and over with by now. Besides, there was no reason she'd wake up here alone, and drenched with water at that.

She took this moment to admire the dome above her and the plaza in general though, moving her wet bangs out of her eyes a tad bit. It looked so...different from the inside of the television, so real. There wasn't any dense fog in the air either obstructing her vision. But at the same time it was a very drastic change from her usual country town scenery back in Inaba she was so used to.

This couldn't be inside of the television though, no. Chie was somewhere completely new and foreign to her. But why?

Snapping back to reality, the girl looked around the plaza. She decided reaching out to the nearest passerby would be the best thing to do, it was time to get some answers!

"Um, excuse me? Could you tell me where I'm at?"

"Well, it's definitely the strangest hair I've seen. But I did come from a small country town, so it's not like there's anyone that out there like you in a place like that." Chie felt kind of bad making a rude comment about his hair a minute ago, but he didn't seem very phased by it, that was good.

[Youtube, haha. I used the youtube mp3 ripper to get all of the tracks from there since I couldn't find the album anywhere. ;-; I could maybe compile them into a zip for you or something?]

He grinned broadly. "I'm rather fond of it!" He did dye it, but here he didn't have to worry about washing the dye out every day. He could just leave it that way.

"I can tell."

Chie was still hungry. "I'm going to get food I think. If you want to join me you can, I mean you just arrived too didn't you? You might be hungry also...but I still don't know what all there even is to eat in this place. Is the food even edible under the sea?"

Eikichi grinned. If there was one thing he scoped out, it was food. He was rather picky, being a veterinarian. He had to keep that twiggy figure somehow, and he wanted to avoid sushi as much as possible. Under the sea made that seem rather difficult.

"I know a good noodle shop here."

Noodles was definitely not the steak she had in mind, but it could do. She really needed some food in her.

"Alright, that sounds fine with me."

Eikichi wouldn't have been down with steak but he could've found an alternative. "This way," he nodded towards the plaza. The shop was nearby, looking more modern but still had good noodles.

"Oh, this place looks better than I pictured for being a random Atlantis-like city restaurant." She looked around for a spot to sit but ended up just at the counter.

"Have you eaten here already or just hear about it? Everything at least smells delicious so far so I'm going to assume it really is good!"

"Pretty normal-looking, right?" Eikichi had the same idea when he'd first arrived. Then again, he thought this place was Atlantis, at first.

"Yeah, ate here yesterday. The place is the best."

"The best, huh? Well I'll see about that!" Chie ordered the first thing basically she saw on their menu with meat also in it. She needed it, after all, if she was going to keep up her training regime even while stuck here in Vatheon.

"You know though, it is pretty suspicious they'd give us everything for free. There has to be something up we don't know about. There's no way otherwise this place could afford to give all these people wandering around all this stuff and be able to still keep these places open."

She did have a point. Eikichi had thought about it himself, but without rumors to go off, he didn't really have a place to start.

He shrugged. "Might as well enjoy it for now." It made sense to him. "None of the locals give a reason why. They clam up. They won't even gossip about it! Sheesh." Tatsuya was the thinker, not him, but he was here without the rest of his circle. At least he wasn't alone in the persona department.

"Yeah, the fact they won't give any reason makes it even more suspicious though! It sort of gives me an uneasy feeling, but there's nothing I can do about it right now so I guess I have to agree."

Chie really wished her friends from back home were around, solving this sort of stuff was way easier with the rest of them. Alone she could piece things together after awhile, sure, but it just didn't happen as fast as with the group.

"Enjoying it for now should be fine, and I'll start by enjoying the food."

Eikichi had silently wished the same thing. For now, he was the only member of his circle of friends, but that didn't mean he couldn't find new ones to help solve the mystery of this place or ones that would make this place much better.

"Sounds like a great plan, babe."

There was that word again.

"You sure do say 'babe' a lot.."

"It is a cool English word," Eikichi grinned. He did have a habit of using Engrish. It added into the typical Jrocker persona.

"Oh, well in that case I can sort of see why you'd use it."

And look at that, food has arrived. Chie immediately digs into it, this food needed investigating after all. "You were right, this food really is good after all!"

Don't mind Chie's rampant unladylike eating, this is a normal thing with her.

Eikichi was all about the flair. After all, a Visual Kei singer had to not only sing the part but look the part as well.

He was very amused by her eating habits. This girl sure was something else. He grinned and slurped his own noodles. "Best place here."

She took a pause from her food. "But if you've only eaten here, are you sure it's the best? There could be even better food we just don't know about yet, you know!"

Chie made a mental note to try every restaurant in Vatheon at some point or another. That was a good idea.

"A---." Well she did have a good point. he'd only been here a week, after all, but he really hadn't tried the other restaurants. As long as sushi wasn't involved, he'd be fine. "You got a point, babe."

"Of course, not all in one day," She said, pausing then to eat a bit more before continuing. "If I'm stuck here then I can try them any other time."

Chie finished eating, she clearly hadn't been lying that it was really good. Not as good as steak though, perhaps she'd hunt that down tomorrow. "Maybe I'll pick a different restaurant everyday!"

Well that was a relief. Eikichi wouldn't be able to eat at all the restaurants in one day. He had an appearance to upkeep, after all. He probably couldn't stomach it anyway.

"Sounds like a plan, babe," Eikichi nodded, finishing up his noodles too. "Wouldn't mind trying more of the local food." No steak, though. Eikichi was a vegetarian.
