[ As she had planned, Kohaku had set up a line of tables somewhere in the plaza, with some of the food she'd already prepared for the event on the table and chairs on each side of it. Over in another area, there were a couple of games, so that people who wanted to could have some fun with that; the games included 'pin the tail on the turkey,' and she'd brought some jump ropes out.

It was a pretty last-minute, not too well planned event, but it turned out pretty great, right? All that mattered was that people enjoyed it. ]


( ooc: It's a potluck! Have your characters bring food, add to the games, and do anything else that they wanna do! Go crazy! As long as it's within the rules of the game, I'm probably going to be pretty chill with it. B) I know there was some talk of spiking the drinks ... )

Right! [Facing the target (just to be on the safe side), he pulls his hat off to fasten it, then puts the hat back on over the knot.] Like this?

Right, just like that! And now you just turn around a few times ....

[Obediently, Link does so, trying to keep some idea on what direction he was facing. When he thinks he has it, he stops.] Okay! Now what?

[ she gives him a bit of a playful push in the direction of the turkey. ]

Go for it! Pin the tail on the turkey! I'll be here to keep you on track.

Right! [Grinning a little, Link starts off in the direction he thinks the turkey... might be in.]

[ rjgnrkng here, here, this way, Link! she gently puts her hands on his shoulders and guides him in the right direction ]

Oh - oops. [He grins behind the blindfold, carefully making his way in the right direction.]

[Hopefully.]

[spiria]

[ It's right this time! And now you're right in front of the turkey. ]

Okay! You're right in front of the turkey. Now just feel around a little bit and try to put the tail where you think it should go.

Got it! [...Hmm. He remembers the way the picture looked, and he holds the tail aloft as he takes a careful step forward. Now where...]

[There. Making a quick decision, he slaps the tail down... somewhere. He at least hopes it's somewhere close...]

[ As soon as he slaps the tail down, she then removes his blindfold. ]

And now you can see how you did.

[ How close did you get, Link? ]

[He got it on the turkey! ...Sort off. If its chest is the right place for a tail. Link heaves a sigh, but he's not too disappointed.] Well - I guess I'll do better next time, right?

Right! Not bad for a first try, though. It takes a lot of skill to be able to put the tail in the right place while dizzy ~

I thought I would have got it closer. [He shrugs a little, looking faintly embarrassed but none too worse for wear.] Well, that's okay. Maybe I can try again!
