Home is the nicest word there is
Who: Residents of The Villa, Open!
When: Starts 8/25, open for a month?
Where: The Villa
Style: Either!
Status: Open to anyone who wants to visit! Just be sure to knock first. :3
[The smell of something sweet and delicious was wafting through the Villa today. What better way to break in a new oven than by baking some melonpon ? At least that was Rin's thinking on it. And he'd done a lot so far. There were already several trays done, in several different flavors. Most he was going to bring back to work the next day to give to the hosts and customers, but he was more than happy to share with anyone in the house, or anyone who came to visit even.
Today was a good day for that, actually.]
(ooc: So basically this is open for anyone actually living in the Villa, or anyone who wants to come visit. If you want a specific resident (Maka, Rin, Blair, Masaru or Asakura) just list it in the header. If you just want to visit and have anyone answer, that's fine, too!)

A small smile passes on the old Lombax's face, and he carefully sets the box down on the table.]
You've been keeping busy, I see. I do hope you're taking the time to rest when needed, however.
[Just how long had he been at this, anyway?]

Yeah, more than I have been. People takin' shifts with Kohaku helped a lot. She's feelin' better, too.
[He still wasn't sure how he felt about Shing currently, but he could deal with that whenever the dumbass finally returned.]
Thanks for that... oh, hey, you wanna try one?
[He picked up one of the plain melonpan rolls, holding it out to Alister.]

Now, he just had to focus on the rest of them.]
She has my regards - be sure to let her know. [And he's even smiling a little, too! That's a plus, right?] But as for the attacker, allow for me to deal with that on my own time.
Now, then...
[Pushing any negative thoughts aside, the Lombax gladly takes the roll when offered, giving it an odd look at first. It's been awhile since he'd seen honest, homemade food, despite Ratchet's attempts at cooking. Normally, he would simply hunt whatever he could find in the wilderness.
So he takes a bite.
And the Lombax's good ear perks up at the unexpected, pleasant taste, finishing the roll quickly.]
--and you cooked these?

The reaction instantly gets a grin, though, and his tail even starts wagging back and forth.]
Baked, but yeah, that was all me.

You've got a bright future ahead of you in culinary arts, you know.

[It's something he had begun to try for himself, though their interests lay in tow entirely separate things. Perhaps in time, they could even teach each other as well.]
Eating is moot when you can simply replenish your strength at the Coral, but it's also a simple pleasure. I'm sure many would love to take advantage of the freedom.

[He rolls his shoulder, stretching out his fingers a little. It wasn't easy, making that much bread.]
Well, that's why I work at the host club. They don't have to have food, but people like it with the rest of the atmosphere. And I get to experiment with things I've never even tried before!
