[GV] - 2 - A pirate's life for me

The host club Golden Victory was closed for the last two days to facilitate a change of theme. When its doors reopen on the first, the change from the upscale classy atmosphere of last month is dramatic. The interior is now decked out to the theme of a pirate ship. There's rigging along the booths at the walls and the bar has been done up to look like an exotic market. Fruits and nuts have replaced the bowls of peanuts that had graced the bar top and the herbs and spices cast a pleasing aroma over the entire club floor. There is a small Help Wanted: Bartender. Contact Zelos for Details sign on the bar but it's oddly hard to spot, partially obscured by various bits of decor.

The hosts themselves have been given opulent pirate attire to go with the theme! Each, of course, has been allowed to add little details of their own to the uniform as long as it fits with the theme, and of course lets not forget the hats. The host list is, as ever, placed by the door for the customer's perusal next to the posting of the rules.

Haha, I've been meaning to ever since two of my friends have gone back to their own world. [Pause] It is kind of selfish but I'm kind of glad that he's still around!

It's not selfish to want your friends around. Hell, if they're your friends they'll want you around too. At least, that's how it's supposed to work.

[Unlike for Zelos where his friends are better off if he isn't around, hah...]

[He smiles broadly at her, and it's even genuine. She's just so earnest and cute!]

[Ever since Hilbert left, she has been wondering if it was. He was going off to find the seven sages and save the world again but...a part of her wanted him to stay here with her and Cheren]

Hey, I'd be happy no matter how much you draw as long as you enjoy it.

[It's true, too. Bianca is positively radiant when she's doing something she enjoys and Zelos caught onto this quickly. He's got that talent, honing in on what makes a girl unique and beautiful inside and out. For Bianca, it's definitely how much of herself she puts into doing the things she loves.]

Do you have a pencil and a piece of paper here?

Sure! Just hold on a sec.

[Off Zelos trots to get supplies. Moments later he's returned with not only a few sheets of paper and a box of colored pencils, but also a tall glass of pineapple juice for his guest. It's a guess, but he thinks she'll like the sweet drink.]

[Once Zelos gave them to her, she quickly drawing right away! After a couple of minutes, she decided to show her art to him]

Hm...[And then she looked at it again] it feels like it might be missing something. What do you think I should add?

Well I dunno... What about those little monster pet things you've got?

[He's seen pokemon around but never really paid them much attention. He's aware she's a trainer though.]

Hm...I don't really remember Cheren's Serperior in detail but I could try!

[Once she takes a sip from the juice, she goes back to drawing! Erase a couple of this and a couple of that...]

[Zelos just leans back and watches her draw. He really enjoys how into it she gets, from the tip of her tongue sticking out of her mouth to the concentrated furrow of her eyebrows. The expression is a little similar to his sister when she was little and they actually played together so it puts him in somewhat of a nostalgic mood.]

Also drawing this on MS Paint is harder than it looks

And there! This is me and Cheren fighting with our pokemon! [She points to her pokemon to the left] This is Emboar and... [then to the left] Serperior! I don't know what he looks like too well but I think it's good!

[He leans over her shoulder from behind, resting one hand on it for balance though he doesn't put his full weight against her.]

I hope that I can show them to everyone soon! I just need to make it a little bit more nicer... [hm...] Although I think it looks nice as it is...

I think it does too, though I'm no artist. You'd know better than I would!

Maybe we could have an art show sometime in the club so you could hang some of your work up!

[She's not use to having huge crowds of people looking at her art!]

You've got some time. It probably won't be until the fall anyway! I've got a party someone wants to host here at the club so I'm helping with that. It'll give time for artists to get things done anyway.

What kind of party are you hosting here at club? Isn't it a party already?

This is a special party someone wants to put on. It's called a masquerade ball! You get to dress up and wear a mask and there's dancing. Pretty snazzy if you ask me~ I'm glad to host it. You should come!

So it's like a costume party except that you have to guess who everyone is? I don't think you can tell when there are masks...

That sounds fun to me, I never been to a party like that before!

Well you don't have to guess but that is part of the allure~ You should definitely come, Bianca-hunny! I think you'd have a lot of fun.

I haven't dressed up in a costume in a long while and I get to guess who everyone is! Hm...let's see...what should I wear...

Hmm~ Well I think you'd be lovely innn...

[Zelos drags out the syllable as he snags some of the drawing paper and sketches out a dress he thinks would look good on Bianca. He does it in light green (instead of the yellow pictured), almost a mint color that he thinks suits Bianca so well.]

[As Bianca looks at the dress, her eyes widens]

Ah, it's so pretty! I'll go look around and see if they have anything like this in Vatheon!

How about a flower mask? It'll be green but with pink flower petals around it! I think it would look really nice!
