vatheon | [GV] - 2 - A pirate's life for me

The host club Golden Victory was closed for the last two days to facilitate a change of theme. When its doors reopen on the first, the change from the upscale classy atmosphere of last month is dramatic. The interior is now decked out to the theme of a pirate ship. There's rigging along the booths at the walls and the bar has been done up to look like an exotic market. Fruits and nuts have replaced the bowls of peanuts that had graced the bar top and the herbs and spices cast a pleasing aroma over the entire club floor. There is a small Help Wanted: Bartender. Contact Zelos for Details sign on the bar but it's oddly hard to spot, partially obscured by various bits of decor.

The hosts themselves have been given opulent pirate attire to go with the theme! Each, of course, has been allowed to add little details of their own to the uniform as long as it fits with the theme, and of course lets not forget the hats. The host list is, as ever, placed by the door for the customer's perusal next to the posting of the rules.

[Hkhhfala no wonder Colette loves dogs! He'd always been more of a cat person but he's definitely coming around. Zelos flashes a big grin and gives chibi a ruffle of the fur on top of his head, making sure to scratch lightly behind the ears.]

Welcome to Golden Victory, little pup! Hold on just a second.

[Zelos retreats into the kitchen just for a moment, returning promptly with a decent sized shank bone with the marrow still in - the kind for making soup stock - and a bowl of water. He promptly sets both down on the floor for Chibi and crouches down again.]

How's this, hm?

[Chibi shoots him a grateful look before tearing into that bone, chewing at first, then eventually batting it with his paws and chasing after it around the room.

He seems to have made more of a toy of it than just something to chew on! That's fine, right?]

[Perfectly fine as long as he doesn't knock anything over! So cute~ Even a couple of the patrons giggle at the puppy's antics with the bone. It gives Zelos an idea actually. He vanishes upstairs to the wardrobe for a moment and when he returns, he's got a pint-sized tricorne hat in with white trim and a long red feather.

He'll just hold onto this until you get tired of the bone, chibi.]

[Chibi notices his disappearance first, and shoots him a curious look when he returns.

Whatcha got there, buddy? Is it more snacks? :3 ]

[Not snacks so much as a present. Hope you don't mind Zelos plopping a cute little hat on your head and grinning wide.]

How'd you like to be the club mascot, pup?

[Eh? Chibi looks around the club dubiously, then back to Zelos.

You want him to be king of the pirates? Well, he's flattered, to be sure, but it's a little sudden isn't it?]

I think it suits you~♥

[He doesn't usually have a weakness for cute animals but there's always exceptions, right?]

[...Do you really think so? He has to admit, he would make a pretty awesome pirate. Chibi grins and sticks his paw out.

You've got yourself a deal, buddy!]

[And here's Zelos, high fiving a puppy. Awesome~]

Good boy~ Here, we'll get you set up with some stuff!

[After several minutes of scrounging around, Chibi ends up with his own ample pile of cushions and pillows to lounge on, a bowl of water and another with a brand new bone in it, and not only the hat but a cute red and white striped bandanna to put around his neck too.

Best pirate king ever.]

Arf! [Chibi makes an appropriate pose upon donning the bandanna, thinking himself to look quite fetching in said attire. He's starting to understand why people want to wear clothes so much- dressing up is pretty fun!

He tugs the pillows around until he believes he's maximized their comfort potential, then flops down on them and regards Zelos with a curious look.

So, what's next, first mate?]

You've got free roam of the place, just don't go in the kitchen, okay~? And you can greet any of the customers you want!

[Unfortunately, though, Zelos has to get back to work as much as he'd like to just play with Chibi all day. He plants a nice scratch under Chibi's chin before straightening up to go.]

I'll have a new outfit for you every month too so you match~♥

[He's a little put off that he's not allowed in the kitchen, but the promise of new costumes sets his eyes alight.]

Arf! [That sounds awesome, dude! He's just gonna hang on these cushions for awhile and pretend to count doubloons or something.]
