[GV] - 2 - A pirate's life for me

The host club Golden Victory was closed for the last two days to facilitate a change of theme. When its doors reopen on the first, the change from the upscale classy atmosphere of last month is dramatic. The interior is now decked out to the theme of a pirate ship. There's rigging along the booths at the walls and the bar has been done up to look like an exotic market. Fruits and nuts have replaced the bowls of peanuts that had graced the bar top and the herbs and spices cast a pleasing aroma over the entire club floor. There is a small Help Wanted: Bartender. Contact Zelos for Details sign on the bar but it's oddly hard to spot, partially obscured by various bits of decor.

The hosts themselves have been given opulent pirate attire to go with the theme! Each, of course, has been allowed to add little details of their own to the uniform as long as it fits with the theme, and of course lets not forget the hats. The host list is, as ever, placed by the door for the customer's perusal next to the posting of the rules.

Guy leaving did put us in a bit of a bind. No one else really knows how to pour drinks.

[He sounds nonchalant about it but Guy's departure has been a constant sore spot since it happened, and not just because of the hassle of looking for a new bartender. Whatever he's really feeling about it though, he just smirks at Jade.]

[Jade was still rather conflicted about Guy at the moment. For now, he didn't feel like talking a lot about it. Honestly, it wasn't something that needed to be touched on.]

In college I took a bartending job at nights to earn extra money for about a year and a half.

[What for, well, Zelos didn't need to know. The Military funded most of Jade's research, but he took some odd jobs to fund the side projects in relevance to Nebilim.]

[Jade smirked before he got up and went to the bar. He took a cup and dipped the rim in salt, mixing together the vodka and grapefruit juice before emptying them into the glass and placing it on the bar.]

[He's just gonna down this glass here while you answer that and try not to snicker at the name. So mature.]

[Jade thought a long moment, a brow risen as he tried to think of it. He remembered what the drink looked like, and an ingredient or two.]

If I recall correctly..

[Maybe take a guess. It'd been ordered once maybe. It'd been years and the drink hadn't been terribly popular.]

Hot sauce, lime juice, and some syrup. I believe there was another ingredient. Honestly, it's been forever since someone's asked for that.

The base is Bourbon but close enough!

Good to hear. I can stand a bartending outfit, I'm sure.

[He seems to enjoy dressing people up... oh dear.]
