[Why was he going out here? If it was only to get some fresh air, then shouldn't he do it when it wasn't raining? Maybe he was getting stir-crazy, sitting in the bubble all the time.
Maybe the rain reminded him of Inaba. At least it wasn't foggy outside, he could give it that. Then he would be even more paranoid than he was already. Especially with Adachi here.
He opens the umbrella as he gets out of the elevator, and looks around--
His little moment of peace doesn't last long before the flimsy umbrella is ripped out of his hands by a gust of wind.
He's stunned, just for a moment, quickly getting more and more wet before he groans.]
Damn it! Why did I come up here??
[He takes off after the umbrella. But guess what? Wet sand is kind of hard to run in.
And guess what? Yosuke's pretty clumsy. Faceplant in 3...2...]
AAAH--!!
[He goes down, falling into the wet sand. No umbrella. Just the rain and the wet, nasty stuff underneath him.
He's not even going to bother to get up, either. Not for now.
Maybe he should just stay in the house for the rest of his time here. Yep. That sounded nice right about now.
Also, that umbrella? Way gone at this point.]

So here's Serph emerging from the waves... only to get nailed in the face by a flapping umbrella. He's got the presence of mind to grab hold of it before it can be blown away any further, though.
The hell is this thing, anyway? What does this do-- oh, that closes it.
...Well, he wants to get back to the bubble, so he starts walking towards Yosuke and the elevator, umbrella in hand, but not open to protect him from the rain.]

But at least he isn't the only one who had something strange happen to him, even if it was his fault, as unintentional as it was. He didn't see it though, he was busy trying to get back up.
He's brushing himself off when he sees Serph out of the corner of his eyes. He looks up, cringing. Of course, witnesses.]

His voice sounds a little familiar to Serph, actually, though Serph can't quite place where from. And maybe the tattoo on Serph's face looks a little familiar to Yosuke; it was on the cheek of that weird deer fish thing all the way back during the fairy tale curse.
So. He's got this thing in his hands that he doesn't know the purpose of.]

[Serph holds up the umbrella for him to see.]

You don't know what an umbrella is? [What did this guy live on, Mars?] You open it, and it protects you from the rain.

Serph examines the umbrella in renewed interest for a moment, before opening it again. He holds it out over this helpful guy, shielding him from some of the rain. Some still gets in from the sides, though; Serph isn't very good at umbrellas. Serph himself is still getting rained on.]
What damage does rain inflict?
[He's never gotten any injuries from rain. Maybe... it has a really low chance of inflicting an ailment...?]

It's kind of awkward, for Yosuke, when Serph opens the umbrella and holds it over him. He's still getting wet, so...he'll just take it.] Thanks.
[...What?] Damage? It's just annoying for most people, and...people say it'll make you sick if you hang around too much in it.
