[If you were passing by the Embryon Base on the way to or from the Forest Quadrant, you'd probably notice that it looks... different, from usual.

For one, there's a good chunk of the second storey wall missing.

The garden, which previously had all kinds of plants growing in Vatheon mugs, many of which had been flowering, is now smashed up, many of the mugs lying shattered on the ground. The orange rose bush, which had been the first thing Serph and Cielo planted, is now split in half. There's also a nice new crater in the paving.

All caused by a harmless intrusion into their territory that turned into an all out brawl.

Still, Serph's not too bothered by the rampant destruction; if they were going to lose something in that fight, it was better their flowers than comrades. And... besides, it's a reminder that they can't become too attached to this base. Not if they want to reach Nirvana.

Nevertheless, it'd be a shame leave this mess here. And they can always replant.

He was, but he's the kind of guy who hides his feelings by just getting mad.

It is. It didn't used to be, but now it is. He's... probably fine. He's pretty strong, and now that the demons are under my control it's not like any of them will attack him anymore.

Yeah, I do. I'm the King of the Demons in my world, actually.

[King of Demons! Now that's an impressive title.]

Then you must be really strong.

I am, yeah. I had to defeat a bunch of powerful demons. The first one I beat because we were in danger, but then I absorbed his power... which sent the others in the war against me.

So you come from a place where there's a war too...you were just fighting over power?

[No. They probably wouldn't taste very good anyway. :c ]

Well... there used to be a powerful demon named Bel. When God took over, He cast Bel down and Bel broke into pieces. Most of the pieces manifested as demons. They were fighting to absorb each others' powers and become the most powerful demon. So yes, to put it shortly.

[What a strange story! Cielo's heard about this God figure, but he doesn't exactly know much about Him other than the fact that he must be a very powerful being.]

Why become the most powerful demon? What would you do with that power?

Well... technically, the King of Bel is the only one with the power to defeat God. Mostly, I wanted to keep that power out of the hands of someone who would use it to hurt people.

[Even though his new title might... still have him doing that.]

From what I can tell, it's just in my world. Which is good, I think. It's messy and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Too bad Vatheon decided to give some of them to a few people temporarily with that curse.]
