[If you were passing by the Embryon Base on the way to or from the Forest Quadrant, you'd probably notice that it looks... different, from usual.

For one, there's a good chunk of the second storey wall missing.

The garden, which previously had all kinds of plants growing in Vatheon mugs, many of which had been flowering, is now smashed up, many of the mugs lying shattered on the ground. The orange rose bush, which had been the first thing Serph and Cielo planted, is now split in half. There's also a nice new crater in the paving.

All caused by a harmless intrusion into their territory that turned into an all out brawl.

Still, Serph's not too bothered by the rampant destruction; if they were going to lose something in that fight, it was better their flowers than comrades. And... besides, it's a reminder that they can't become too attached to this base. Not if they want to reach Nirvana.

Nevertheless, it'd be a shame leave this mess here. And they can always replant.

...Mmmyep, there sure is a lot of work to be done.]

[Busy as he'd been, Zelos hadn't had a lot of time for socializing outside the club lately, though he had caught wind of the somewhat... creative remodeling that had been done to Serph's home and was especially disappointed to hear about the roses.

Which may just be why the Chosen's brought a wheelbarrow with two adolescent potted rose bushes, blazing so orange one would have a tough time distinguishing them from traffic cones if not for the shape.]

[While she's walking her Eevee, both her and Amane notice the wreckage and mess.

Worried and curious, they both went over and investigate.]

...Serph?

[Serph looks up from sweeping up a pile of broken mugs. They'd managed to salvage some of the plants, but it's definitely not worth trying to fix the mugs. ...Besides, they have such a surplus from the fairy tale curse, they're not going to be wanting for mugs in a while.

Seeing Zelos, Serph abandons his job and walks over, broom in hand.]

Are these...?

[For them? Serph seems pleased（*´▽｀*）!!!]

[Serph pauses in his sweeping when he hears Amane's voice. By now, there's a pretty big pile of broken pieces of mug near him. What they'll do with them, Serph doesn't know; that's a hurdle for another time. Probably just leave it there...

He approaches, broom in hand, and nods in greeting, giving one to both Amane and the Eevee.]

Have you been well?

[Nope, nothing unusual here.]

Thought you might need replacements! I heard what happened and couldn't just sit by, y'know? Besides, if you don't have plants this place is kinda dreary. No offense.

[Zelos sets down the wheelbarrow and leans over to hoist up one of the pots. It's easily far heavier than any human should be able to lift, but Zelos manages with a minimum of effort.]

Where do you want it?

[ What strikes Guriko the most among the destruction, perhaps, is the broken mugs and scattered plants. She locks eyes with that particular mess for one instant, before turning on her heels and running away.

... And coming back about ten minutes later, with a dark purple mug, carrying a baby forget-me-not in its hold.

Gently, she places the mug down beside the wreck, continuing to squat by it, staring at how pretty it is. ]

Plant-nee.

[ That's it's name. ]

[Yep. This was a mess. At least that it was only property damage and there were no casualties. Still, this didn't mean that Cielo wasn't lamenting the loss of plant life. They worked so hard to plant all these!

But the thing about a garden was that you could replant it.

As he's pondering what they could do about that crater in the ground (make it a pond? There are water plants, right?), he spots Guriko just as she runs away.

Huh.

But it's not long before she comes back and he watches her put down her mug. After a moment, Cielo walks over and crouches down beside her.]

Plant-nee?

[ Having been very invested in watching the plant, Guriko didn't sense Cielo's presence as he approached. As such, she's surprised when he speaks, and flinches a bit, before easing up. He lives here, probably.

After a moment, Guriko nods her head, gesturing to the plants around them, new and ruined. ]

Plants are living. They deserves names, Guriko believes.

[ She nods again, as if confirming her words. Then proceeds to point right at her plant. ]

Therefore, this Guriko has named her 'Plant-nee'. It fits.

[She glance at the broken mugs, and then back at him. Shae sits down next to Amane, giving him a concerned look.]

...What happened here?

[This makes perfect sense to Cielo. He knows plants are living, just a type of living thing that's different from humans and animals. He has some Serious Thoughts related to this topic.

But that's stuff he'll probably talk about with Serph one day. It will be a Difficult Question day.]

I see! Plant-nee is a cute name.

[He realizes that he's heard the name Guriko before and it only takes him a short time to remember that he learned it from Tiir. So this was Guriko then?]

[ Though it wasn't a compliment to her, exactly, Guriko still blushes a bit, stretching to touch one of the smooth leaves on the flower. A faint smile crosses her lips. ]

She's a very cute flower. Guriko saw her and immediately fell in love!

[ After a moment of admiration, Guriko drops her hand, turning to face Cielo slightly. ]

However, Guriko is sorry if she is trespassing on your home, or if the flower is unwanted. She can remove it, if Stranger would like?

[ That's a little sad, though. She wants Plant-nee to be surrounded by her brothers and sisters. ]

[In all technicality, she is trespassing on Embryon territory. But she's a little girl - he's not going to chase her off. Besides, they just had a battle over this and look where that got them. He shakes his head.]

Nah, both Guriko and Plant-nee are welcome to stay.

[Seeing Serph's recent broadcast worried Yukari.

Mainly because she's normally seen him as an open and welcoming person, so the warning to keep intruders away was a little...off-putting. In fact, she thinks maybe she should have called first, before making her way over, but...curiosity gets the best of her, so she'll wander over anyway.

...

And it's easy to see, at least, why such a broadcast was necessary.

Her eyes widen more than slightly at the mess, and she'll walk closer-- quietly-- looking for any member(s) of the Embryon.]

Wh- Whoa...

[By this time, Serph's done with sweeping and is replanting some of the sprouts. There's a pretty big pile of dirt in front of him and another pile of plants he'd pulled out of smashed mugs. A line of mugs is next to him. When he hears Yukari, though, he looks up from his work and stands, brushing off the dirt from his hands.

He approaches and gives her a nod in greeting.]

Have you been well?

[Nothing is amiss here!!]

[Ah. There he is, the leader himself.

Luckily, Yukari isn't startled by his approach, and instead just nods to greet him back. And to answer his question, incidentally.]

Yeah.

[Though she's really not concerned with herself at the moment.]

But it looks like you've had your hands full. No wonder you made that broadcast.

[She's already bending down to help with the plants. Don't try to stop her.]

[...Heh. No offence taken. Serph nods, accepting Zelo's explanation. He isn't surprised at the show of strength, either; Raine's informed him that one of the advantages of a Cruxis Crystal is above normal strength.

He regards the rest of the base for a moment, thinking. The rose bush he and Cielo planted is around the back, but the others were going to try and fix that... ]

Near the entrance?

[Serph gestures towards the door in question, which has a streak of orange across it, much like the one on Serph's clothes.]

What do you think?

[Most of their non-mug plants are on the side closer to the Forest Quadrant.]

[Serph follows Amane's gaze to the pile of mugs before turning his attention back to her. He leans on his broom.]

Someone wandered into the building. We're very protective of our territory, so a fight broke out.

[He doesn't blame the others for turning things into a fight; the base is what's supposed to be 'safe', after all.]

[Obviously, someone would get hurt in a fight. But she still need to ask.]

Did anyone get severely hurt?

[Cuts and bruises are normal. But anything more than that?]

[Hey, he's more than happy to have a little extra help! Why would he want to stop her? Serph moves over and crouches down beside her, passing some of the mugs over.

He nods in agreement, though. Yeah, his hands are pretty full... even without all the cleanup. There's a hint of amusement in Serph's voice as he speaks, though.]

It's easy to forget differences between worlds.

[Especially when he's adjusted to Vatheon. He probably shouldn't have assumed people would know the significance of their territory markers.]

[Serph's last post has Signless worried, so he drops by to check on his friends. He's shocked at the destruction, but manages to hide it well.]

[Just when Gorthan had decided to pay Serph a visit...

While he tries to maintain his usual stoic and slightly grumpy expression, a genuine look of pain crosses his features as he inspects the incredible mess that is the base of Serph's tribe.]

Serph... your flowers. I know how much you care about them... are they still salvageable, in spite of this chaos?

[Soon, he seems to realize something.]

Chaos, indeed... a fight occurred here, did it not?

[In spite of the fact that his huge sleeves probably won't stay that way for long, Gorthan rolls them up, determined to help.]

[Yukari accepts the new, unbroken mugs and starts putting the plants in them, who've had their old mugs broken. It's really sad to see everything in such a state-- especially since she helped make the garden what it is.

But she doesn't worry about that now. She may as well ask for some details; because there must be more to it than a discrepancy between worlds.]

So what happened? Did anyone get hurt?

[Sera is sitting along the wall in shorts and a bright orange t-shirt, picking up pieces of a mug that wasn't shattered to dust and slowly gluing them back together. They don't look pretty with big globs of adhesive running down the cracks, but they can hold plants once more.

She just wants to help.]

[ Guriko nods once, smiling thoughtfully at the name. New friends! That's always exciting. ]
